MAN!!! - why cant the US TVLAND have a schedule like that :cuss:

3pm Mary Tyler Moore
3:30 Mary Tyler Moore
4pm Family Ties
4:30 Get Smart
5pm Brady Bunch
5:30 Happy Days
6pm King of Kensington
6:30 Forest Rangers
7:00 Check it out
7:30 Forest Rangers
8pm Sanford and Son
8:30 Happy Days
9pm Brady Bunch
9:30 Get Smart

little too much Forest Rangers and King of Kensington for my tastes, but the rest of the sched is amazing - even has M&M and the Beachcombers in the mornings :D

It's okay, I guess. It was a lot better last year. We also have a direct competitor TV station to TV Land Canada. It's another Classic TV station called DejaView (http://www.canada.com/entertainment/tvchannels/dejaview/index.html). Here is their old Schedule (http://www.canada.com/entertainment/tvchannels/dejaview/schedule.html). And their new Fall Schedule (http://www.channelcanada.com/tvzone/fall/schedules/DejaView.html). :)

Yep! We can have all those bizarre comedies UNCUT. Unlike the laughable versions TV Land USA airs. :D

How do you know they're uncut? Does the station say so? I remember a long while back that TJ has a copy of Happy Days episode aired in Canada and that "it is definitely not uncut."

He probably has a version from CTS (in Toronto)-which IS edited. But I know The Brady Bunch airs on both TV Land stations (I get both of them on my satellite), and the TV Land Canada version is longer. :)

One channel worth bragging about from the US is the Hallmark Channel (http://www.hallmarkchannel.com/us_framework.jsp?CNTRY=US). Their M*A*S*H episodes are longer than the episodes aired on Prime TV (http://www.canada.com/entertainment/tvchannels/prime/index.html) in Canada.

CTS (http://www.ctstv.com/) in Toronto, ON is good for classic TV. But NOW-TV (http://www.nowtv.ca/van/) in Vancouver, BC has a better "Retro TV" line-up than CTS, in my opinion. :)

So am I, Undercover Angel. NOW-TV even includes a voiceover with Kathy Garver near the end of Family Affair stating that "Family Affair will return in a moment". CTS in Toronto never included that clip when they aired Family Affair last year. How disappointing. :( I think NOW-TV airs their "Retro TV" programs uncut as well. :)

Look around for a "Free-To-Air" satellite dish. You can get all the satellite channels from both the US satellite DirectTV, and the Canadian Satellite ExpressVU. You'll be a big-time happy camper if you buy one. Trust me. ;) :)

If you decide to get a Free-To-Air satellite dish, ask for the Eurostar satellite signal. Than tune to channel 436. That's ORT from Moscow. On that channel you can watch The Beverely Hillbillies at 7:00AM ET dubbed in Russian!! :p I kid you not, You'll laugh your ass off!!

In fact. My friend Lidiya made me a copy of a Russian dubbed Beverly Hillbillies. Hopefully in the next few weeks, I'll send TJ a clip so he can post it here. I just have to book an Avid computer station at work, and transfer it over to MPEG-3, then I will e-mail him a small clip. :D

Even though "The Wild, Wild West" is coming in October, I think the Hallmark Channel has gone to ****. It was better in its Odyssey and early Hallmark days, when it had ALF, Happy Days, Fraggle Rock, ALF, The Muppet Show, Rescue 911, Bewitched, I Dream of Jeannie, My Three Sons, Hart to Hart, and other great shows. I didn't get to watch a lot of the channel until December 2002. Before then I only got it in the mornings: Midnight to 9 AM weekdays (before any of the good shows came on) and Midnight to Noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Ever since I got it, it has gone downhill.

Again, Brian. Look around for a Free-To-Air satellite dish. I can tell right now that I only paid $450.00 for the dish, reciever, and a signal finder (to pin-point the satellite signals). You may have to order the dish on the Internet, or go to a private satellite retailer. Best Buy, Circuit City, or Future Shop do not sell them at this time. They were only introduced to the public in Apri of this year. :)

If you like Westerns, Brian, than check out the the 24 hour digital Canadian Western TV channel Lonestar (http://www.canada.com/entertainment/tvchannels/lonestar/index.html). :)

But both stations are worth having on satellite. Trust me, Rob. I can't complain, really, with all of the U.S and Canadian cable stations on one reciever. I'm glad we purchased a Free-To-Air satellite dish. It IS a great investment, in my opinion. :)
