As I type I'm watching "The Hero" episode of the Brady Bunch with commentary from Suasn Olsen, Barry Williams and Chris Knight. They are so funny, I hope they do commentary for future releases. These three seem like they'd be the most fun to listen to. I can't picture Mike Lookinland being as humorous.

I agree. I think Maureen McCormick would be good too.... but Eve Plumb would be the worst to listen to (oddly enough, I think she's the best actor of the bunch [no pun intended])

I agree. I think Maureen McCormick would be good too.

I was thinking the same thing, add Maureen to the group and that would be the perfect combo to provide fun commentary. Florence H. wouldn't be bad either. I skipped their commentary on A-Camping We Will Go, I'll have to go back and listen to that.

I watched some "Ellen: Season 2" this morning. Believe it or not, that's the only time I watched TV today. Don't worry, I'll watch some more once I get off line. ;)

Beginning tomorrow, I'll be watching season 9 of "Friends". That's how I watch it. Just one right after another until I'm done. Other shows, I just skip around and watch any episodes. Friends, you have to watch in order, though. Now if I can find "SBTB:TNC" I'll be watching that first.

Except for the last two seasons, which I've only seen a couple episodes of, Season 2 is the one I've seen the least. I remember liking it, but it's been a long time since I've watched it. So I'm really looking forward to it. Season 2 is when the show began to separate itself from the original.

Started Disc 1 of Charlie's Angels S1 - I love it so far. I'm starting to get into police shows/dramas now. On my to-buy list for dramas/cop shows:

- Hunter S1
- Murder, She Wrote S1 (HUUUUUUUUUUUGE must, I remember watching this when I was a little girl and I love it)
- Highway to Heaven S1
- 7th Heaven S1 & S2 (down the road)
- MacGyver S1 (Target for only $30...can't beat that)
- Gilmore Girls S1-S3 (S3 out in May)

Can't think of anything else.

"Hogan's Heroes" - This morning, I rewatched the pilot. I love that first episode. One thing bothers me though. At the end of the episode, Carter leaves. Then in the next episode and for the rest of the series, he's there. Is there something I missed?

Plus, I liked the show better in black and white.

"Make Room for Daddy" - Season 5.

It's a very funny show. The only problem I have is with the DVD not showing the opening credits. I want all of the episodes to be complete with opening credits, uncut show and ending credits. Why is that so hard for this company to do? They also released "The Joey Bishop Show" the same way. I think they are the company releasing "The Doris Day Show". So expect that to be the same. These are great shows from "Yester-year" that this company is not doing justice to.

I've watched 16 of 21 Popular season 2 episodes.

I like the season, but it is definately inferior to the first season. The show was a lot funnier before they started adding "very special episodes" to the mix, there's no less than three episodes in a row dealing with a characters' bout with leukemia, and then another dealing with anorexia, and another dealing with homophobia. I like the show better when its campier and more comedic. But you knew the WB was forcing the show to get more dramatic when even out there camped characters like Mary Cherry and April Tuna were suddenly being given depth.

Adamantium

How do the episodes open, with shortened, edited credits or no opening credits at all?

As much as I love the show, the DVDs are crap. The episodes open without any theme song. I push play on the episode and it starts as if I'm tuning into the middle of the episode. And I'm pretty sure the episodes are edited. There are a few glitches in the scenes, which don't look like bad film, but cheap DVDs.

I know that by the fifth season, the show was titled "The Danny Thomas Show." So they are obviously using the syndicated episodes. Especially since the first four seasons are not in syndication.

Nevertheless, it's still great to see this series again. It brought back wonderful memories of me watching "Make Room for Daddy" on N@N waiting for my dad to get home from work. I hope the show gets re-released by Image, starting with Season 1. Image is a company that does a show justice.

I finished Popular season 2 --- I really hate that season 3 didn't happen because the series finale was very much a cliffhanger, since they hoped to get picked up for a third year, so some relations were left unresolved (such as Mary Cherry going homeless and finding out RuPaul is her long lost father, and Josh and Lily reconsidering their marriage) while the series ended on a major cliffhanger regarding Brooke. It was a great 43 episode run, even though a third season would've been sweet so they could've finished out senior year at least (they were juniors in season 2).

Two episodes of Land of The Lost - season 3

The show got too dark for me in the last season. I still intend to buy it, though. Also, it's funny seeing "Rick Marshall" going home through that vortex. And the incredible coincidence that their uncle goes to the Land of the Lost.

My only complaint with the DVD is that the episodes are in broadcast order, when clearly they should be in production order. I'm glad to have it on DVD, it's just one of my pet peeves - having shows in order.

I just finished the pilot episode of "Lois and Clark". I have to say it was really good. It kept my attention the whole time and was very funny (at certain times). I really don't like the Superman character in general, but the one on this show is classic.

Like I had said before, the only episode I saw before the pilot was the very last episode when it originally aired. I remember liking that episode too. So it's good to know this isn't one of those shows that "jumps the shark".

Last night and all through today, I've been watching seasons 1 & 2 of "Friends". One thing I noticed about the show. Whenever there's a crazy moment or where the friends are fighting amongst themselves, the episode ends with some big serious thing breaking them up. For example, in the poker episode, the friends are all playing poker and getting into it, especially Ross. Then Rachel gets a call that she did not get a big job she wanted. Another episode, the gang are split in half. Ross, Monica and Chandler against Rachel, Phoebe and Joey. They're arguing, and then Monica gets a phone call, she's been fired. They all forget about their fight and comfort her.

Just something I've noticed about the show.

Yeah, Season 1 was terrible. I liked that in the second season, there was no "main" character. While the original series worked with Zack in the lead, TNC was terrible with whats-his-name (it was so bad I forgot his name). Eventually I'll get around to the rest of the series, but I'm going to miss the characters from Season 2, who have grown to become my favorite.

Season 2 is my favorite of the show as well. I liked season 1 the first time around. Part of the reason I liked it was because it was lame. The bad acting fascinated me. However, I liked Weasel, Megan and Vicki from season 1.

I'm not gonna publish it, but yeah, I'm gonna make it in book form. It will pretty much be an extended episode guide. Much like the Nick at Nite book from the mid 90's. That book had episode guides for all their shows at the time, though. And like the Nick at Nite book, after the episode description, I'd give trivia bits, and classic quotes (much like the old TV Tome, but more thorough.

You go back to school on a Friday? Huh... thats weird. I think I go back on next Monday, and I have alot of material I want to watch before then since I wont have as much time on my hands. I'm not gonna watch too many TV DVD's when back at school, but I will watch all new episodes of my favourite shows when they are on. I also want to watch Friends seasons 1-9 before 10 comes out.
