My dear Mr. Crawford,
I am writing this letter to you because I am sorry I hit Charles Fredericks on the head. You are such a good bus driver that any one who would make troubble on your nice bus is very bad and won't do it again. If I ever get to ride on your nice bus again, I would just sit there and do nothing.
Your Friend,
Theodore Cleaver

5. Beaver's First Draft in episode #78 Most Interesting Character
The Most Interesting Character I Have Ever Known
By Theodore Cleaver
___ The most interesting character I have ever known is my father, Mr. Ward Cleaver. My father was born right here in this town and still lives in it. He has a very interesting job. He goes to the office every day, except Saturday and Sunday and Christmas and Thanksgiving and all the other holidays and he is also married to my mother and has two sons, me and Wally. The interesting things he did today was put up screens. He also took the car to get a new fan bell, which was loose. He can fix things and can take a pill without water.

6. Wally's Revised Version in episode #78 Most Interesting Character
The most interesting character I ever knew, was my father, Mr. Ward Cleaver. He was born at the mouth of the Amazon, which is a river, and when he was a baby, he was stolen out of his crib by a crocodile, and in the nick of time, he was saved by a friendly headhunter with a blow gun. During the war, he was a secret general, where he had many interesting experiences. Now he has a job in an office, but he really works for the FBI. On Sundays, he goes to the beach and saves a lot of people from drowning.

7. Knighthood Oath, as shown in episode #115 Beaver and Ivanhoe

8. Apology Note to Shirley, as shown in episode #208 Beaver, the Sheep Dog
Dear Shirley,
I apologize for calling you names and stuff when you called me a sheep dog. But if you'll cut out that kind of junk, I'll cut it out too and I'm sorry I made you cry.
Your friend,
Beaver Cleaver
P.S. I don't really think you're as ugly as I said you are.
*rubbed out P.S. at Wally's request
…/ End …/
I hope y'all enjoyed those.

Are you writing these from memory? They seem pretty close, from my memory. Anyway, I think I'll take a stab at a couple of others ...

When Beaver had to have his Uncle Theodore's ring (sent to him from Aunt Martha) cut off when his finger swelled:

Dear Aunt Martha,
I was glad to get the ring you sent me. I wore it to school. I wasn't supposed to. It got stuck on my finger. They had to call the school doctor. He is the doctor that sent me home when I had spots. He cut the ring off my finger, so now it is in 2 parts. I hope you still like me, but I don't think so.
Your nephew,
Theodore
[Ward tears up the letter after Beaver reads it and says just writing the letter, which he made Beaver do, was "punishment enough," and "It just may be that we can have that ring fixed."]

[I thought I could remember the letter Wally made up from Ward to June when Ward was in the war, but I can only remember something like "I am waiting here for the enemy to attack and yesterday I killed 50 men" }

I found them somewhere on the net and cut and pasted them.

BTW I can't post too much here in the early hours of the day ,but now at 11PM I can for some reason. hmm.

It's probably a Web-TV glitch since our last Upgrade from MSNTV. Go figure. LOL

I laughed so hard I cried when I read those. Especially the one about June dancing in dives. I was thinking about when Mrs. Rayburn read it back to Ward in the cultured voice of hers, and started laughing all over again. This show is a true gem!
