Hey people!! I started to write some fanfiction for Moonlighting again. It's not finished yet, but I'd like to write it together with you:D Just post some lines from David and Maddie and let someone else follow you:D

This is going to be a Moonlighting Reunion for the fans, by the fans (Stay serious please;) )

This is the beginning:

MIRACLES AND MYSTERIES

It was a warm day in June, the sky above L.A. was as blue as it can get. Maddie Hayes is lying on a chair outside in her backyard, with a can of water and her sun-lotion beside her. She listens to the birds, which are singing their song, and enjoys the warmth of the sun. Then the phone starts to ring:

Trrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiing trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiing

Maddie: “Yeah, yeah, hold on, can’t a woman just sit in her garden for ten minutes without being disturbed?”

Maddie picks up the phone.

Maddie: “Hello!”

Phone: “……..”

Maddie: “Hello?”

Phone: “……..”

Maddie: “Fine, then don’t talk!”

Maddie throws the phone back on the hook and goes back outside.


In the meanwhile, David Addison is looking at the phone in his hand, he looks a little confused.

David: (thinking) “Okay, now I finally had the courage to pick up the phone and call her, and now I don’t have the courage to talk to her. David, David, David, what’s wrong with you?”

David turns around and walks away from the phone…..He hesitates, walks back to the phone and dials the number again.

David: “Okay, you can do it David….just be cool.”


Maddie her house

Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiing trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiing

Maddie: (sigh) “Not again…”

Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiing trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiing

Maddie decides not to pick up the phone again and stays outside in the sun.

Answering machine: “This is the answering machine from Madelyn Hayes, I’m not at home right now, so leave a message after the beep. BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!!!!!”


David’s house

David: “Erhum…yeah…eh…hi Maddie, I know we didn’t talk a lot to each other lately, but……ehm…I don’t exactly know how to say this, but…I don’t really like to talk to answering machines….well, what I wanted to ask you… I wondered if we could get together and have…ehm, lunch maybe? Yeah, lunch, that’s sounds okay. So, what do you think? Call me, you have my number!”

David finished the phonecall and bites on his fist.

David: “Oh my, what have I done? Yeah David, now she can’t wait to see you again, you sound so cool on the answering machine…”


Maddie her house

Maddie decided she had enough sun for the day and went back inside, walked to the stairs, planning to take a shower. She passed the answering machine and saw she had one message. She rewinds the tape and listens to David’s voice.

Answering machine: “….. I wondered if we could get together and have…ehm, lunch maybe? Yeah, lunch, that sounds okay. So, what do you think? Call me, you have my number!”

Maddie: “Oh my, David, where you nervous or what, haha. Poor guy.”

Maddie smiles.

Maddie: “I think I better call him back.”

Maddie dials the number of David’s house.


David’s house

Trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiing trrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiing

David picks up the phone

David: “Hello”

Maddie: “Hi David…I heard your message on the answering machine. Did you call me before?”

David: “Why?”

Maddie: “Well, when I said hello, no one answered.”

David: “Oh, that wasn’t me, I would at least answer you.”

Maddie: “Right.”

David: “Right.”
Maddie: “So.”

David: “So….why did you call me again?”

Maddie: “You called me first…”

David: “Oh yeah, about lunch, right?”

Maddie: “Right, well, I just wanted to say that I would like to have lunch with you.”

David: “You do?”

Maddie: “I do.”

David: “Okay, when?”

Maddie: “Well, it’s too late to have lunch today, so…”

David interrupts.

David: “…maybe we can have dinner.”

Maddie: “You want this to happen fast don’t you?”

David: “Do bears bear? Do bees be?”

Maddie: “Oh my, you are still using that line.”

David: “Still using that line I am, but only with you.”

Maddie: “Oh….I don’t know what to say.”

David: “Maybe this: tonightish, I’ll pick you upish, at, let’s say eightish?”

Maddie: “Eightish it is.”

David: “Okay, see you then.”

Maddie: “Okay, bye.”

David: “Bye.”

David sits down on the couch and sighs.


Maddie her house

Maddie leans against the wall and sighs, then she panics!

Maddie: “What should I wear? I don’t even know where we are going to eat!?! Knowing David, it’s probably a snackbar or something.”
About 4 hours later, we see Maddies bedroom filled with clothes and shoes, damp is on the mirror. Maddie just took a shower and is now doing her hair. Her hair is hanging on her shoulders, with a lot of curls, the way she looks best. Maddie whips away the damp from the mirror and takes a look at herself. She’s wearing a light-blue dress which ends just above her knees.

Maddie: “So, that should do it! Now I still have to clean up this mess.”

Maddie looks at her watch which is lying on her bed.

Maddie: “Oh no, David will be here in ten minutes!”

The doorbell rings, Maddie runs down the stairs

Maddie: (Thinking) “That can’t be David, it’s too early.”

She opens the door and sees a very handsome man, wearing a black suit, standing in the doorway. She opens her mouth and closes it again while observing him.

Maddie: (while trying to catch some breath)“David… You’re early.”

David: “I know, I just couldn’t wait any longer.” He smirks and hands Maddie the lavender rose he was holding behind his back. “This is for you, it suits with your dress.”

Maddie smells at the lavender rose.

Maddie: “Thank you David…does this mean we are going to a real restaurant?”

David: “Well…I kinda have a little surprise for you.”

Maddie: “Which is?”

David: “I can’t tell you that, otherwise it wouldn’t be a surprise anymore.”

Maddie: “Right.”

David: “Right. Well, shall we go then?”

Maddie: “Okay, I’ll get my jacket.”

David: “Okay, but fast, otherwise the cab-driver will decide to drive away.”

Maddie turns around and looks a little confused at David.

Maddie: “Addison, I hope this is a part of the surprise.”

David: “Trust me Maddie, you will love it.”


Later in the cab

Maddie: “So, where are we going David?”
David: “Don’t you recognise something?”

Maddie looks through the window, she notices what David means, turns her head back to David. While saying:

Maddie: “Addison, this is the way to your…”

David is sitting dangerously close beside her.

Maddie: “…house.”

David: “So you do recognise it.”

Maddie: (looking straight into David’s green eyes while whispering) “David, where are you taking me?”

David: (whispers while looking into Maddie’s blue eyes) “You just said it, I’m taking you to my house.”

Maddie turns her head away from David and continues looking through the window.

David: (thinking)“Don’t worry, Maddie, have a little patience.”


In front of David’s house

David gets out of the cab first and then opens the door for Maddie.

David: “Welcome to mia casa!” David reaches his hand out for Maddie.

Maddie doesn’t say anything, but grabs his hand and steps out of the car. David pays the cab-driver and walks towards the door together with Maddie. He opens the door and steps inside. When they get into his apartment, the room is dark.

David: “Sit down over here.”

Maddie: “Right here?”

David: “Yeah, right here.”

David walks further into the room and almost stumbles over a chair. Maddie is smiling in the dark.

Maddie: “Are you allright?”

David: “I’m okay, I’m okay.”

Maddie hears the noise of matches. Then she sees a little light in the dark. David is lightening some candles. She watches David walking around. David feels her eyes are watching her and he turns around and looks in her eyes. He smirks. Maddie looks away, blushing. Then David breaks the silence.

David: “You can come over here now, dinner will be served in 10 minutes, I hope you like it because I’ve been working on it all day.”

Maddie: “You cooked?”

David: “Yes I did.”

Maddie: “I didn’t know you could do that.”

David: “Well, I had to. Eating hamburgers and microwave food all the time isn’t healthy.”

Maddie: “I’m totally surprised.”

David: “And…?”

Maddie: “What do you mean, and?”

David: “Do you like it?”

Maddie: “I love it!”

David smiles and walks into the kitchen. Maddie looks through the room.

Maddie: “I see you’ve finally bought some furniture!”

David yells out of the kitchen

David: “No, I didn’t, Stephanie thought I needed some furniture so she brought some old stuff!”

Maddie: “She thought well.” She smiles and stands up to walk to the kitchen.

David turns around and sees Maddie standing in the doorway.

David: “Maddie, didn’t you ever learn to be patience? You are going to ruin the surprise!”

Maddie: “David?”

David: “Maddie?” He walks towards her.

Maddie: “David, where can I wash my hands?”

David stops walking…

David: “Oh…over there.” He points to the sink.

P.S. It doesn't have to be as long as mine;)

Maddie walks over to the sink while David is watching her.

Then.... all of a sudden Maddie cries out in pain!

Maddie: " Aahhhhaaaahh!!

David : " Maddie! What's wrong??"

Maddie: "Hot , hot!"

David: "Well.. do you want me to do something about that ...?"

Maddie: "No David, the water! It's hot!!

David: " Oops, I'm sorry, here let me help you!"

David turns on the cold water and takes Maddie's hand.
He gently rubs her hand under the cold water while Maddie is watching him with "the sensual look".

All of a sudden she walks away leaving David empty handed.

David goes after her into the living room and looks at her.

David: "What? Why are you walking away all of a sudden?"

Maddie: " I don't know I guess I just got a strange feeling when you held my hand"
I'm afraid I can't resist my feelings, .... you know......

David: " Well I don't mind if you can't resist your feelings!

Maddie:" I know you don't, but I do!" Oh David, don't you see that this is all going to fast for me!

David: "Here we go again, lady I heard this before and I don't know what you're thinking but my plans are different than what you think they are!"

Maddie: "Really?"
David: " Really!"

Than David sits down and holds her burned hand gently.
He kisses it...... then Maddie kisses him on the cheek.

Maddie whispers in his ear: "Thank you..."
David looks her in her eyes: "You're welcome, now let's eat!"

He poors some red wine while he grins his famous grin looking at Maddie. (think about "In god we strongly suspect" when he lights the candles in the morgue, that grin)

Maddie likes it and relaxes...........

The dinner was great, David learned to cook very well. They talked about the past, about the things that happened in the time they where apart. David started to do the dishes, while Maddie sat down on the couch.

David: (singing) "I am not Jesus though I have the same initials -
I am the man who stays home and does the dishes."

Maddie smiles. Then she sees some old pictures of David. She picks one up and looks at it. He is so handsome.

Maddie: (thinking) "Why did I ever let him go?"

Now that was a quicky Steph!
Should I wait for more or do you want me to continue?

You can continue, I didn't know what to write anymore LMAO!:D Oh, by the way, we have to figure out how Maddie is going home. Is she going to take a cab back to her place? David doesn't have a car, right?:confused:

She's not going home........:blush:

While staring at David's picture Maddie gets warm feelings and flash backs of all the things they went through together.

David: "A penny for your thoughts, your body for free...?"

Maddie looks up startled by his voice.

Maddie: "Oh I'm sorry I was daydreaming eh.... nightdreaming, oh I don't know".
David: "So I see, want some coffee?"
Maddie: "Ok, thanks."

Minutes later David walks over to the candles and lights some more.

They speak at the same time:
Maddie: "David..."
David: "Maddie..."

Maddie: "You first"
David: "No, you first"

Maddie:" I just wanted to say that I really appreciate this"
David: "Appreciate what?"

Maddie: "This... the dinner, the wine, the candles....... (speaking softly) the mood......"

David: "I didn't know we had a MOOD going on... are we?"
David walks over to Maddie, he snaps his fingers and all of a sudden music comes out of the speakers in his living room.

" Some walk by night, some fly by day.......
nothing could change you, set and sure of the way.."

Maddie thinks: "Oh my God, I haven't heard that song in a million years!"
David grabs her round the waist slowly but surely and he starts to sway with her.

Maddie blushes and is starting to get that same feeling again like she had in the kitchen.
She dances with him thinking : "Boy Maddie, you want this man!!
You want him like you never wanted him before!"

Then the music stops and the only light that was on goes out.
It's dark, the candles are burned up, and there is no sound except the somewhat harder breathing of Maddie and David.

Maddie: " David what happened?"
David: " I don't know, must be the fusebox or something. You wait here and I'll go check it out".

Maddie: " Ok David but be carefuuuuuuuuuuuuul, aaahh!!"
David trips over the rug and lands on the floor with Maddie on top of him....then the light goes on and the music starts to play again.
Maddie laying on his chest, speaking soft, with a slight grin on her face: "David..... did you do this on purpose?
Switch the lights and music off, dragging me down to the floor on top of you, tell me.... was this a planned thing?"

David: "You know I don't PLAN things, everything happens spontaneous in my life! This is what they call kismet!"

Maddie: "Oh really? then what is this thing sticking out of your pocket?
Maddie reaches in his pocket and pulls out.................................... a remote! (what did you think??)

David starts to laugh real loud and rolls over on top of Maddie, then they start to roll some more through the whole living room as they stop in front of David's bedroom door............
They give eachother a loooong look, green meets blue, then they both look at the bedroom door at the same time and back at eachother.
David starts to kiss her neck (almost reaching that spot beneath her hairline), then moves up to her cheek until he reaches her mouth.
Maddie is letting it all happen..
She thinks: " I don't care anymore!! I want this man and that's final!"
He kisses her lips gently than a little harder until french kissing is unavoidable.
David is getting really excited and also a little unpatient.
He thinks: " God, it's been so long since.......and now after al this time I've got the most beautiful woman on earth who wants to make love to me..be patient Dave, be patient, make it a night she willl never forget!"

He's gets up off the floor and pulls Maddie up by the hand.
He opens the bedroom door and leads Maddie by the hand to the bed, he turns around and starts to nuzzle her neck again and now he DOES find the spot on her neck that she likes so much...
David whispering: " Remember this?......"
Maddie moans and groans kissing him back, and touching him all over.
He takes off his sweater and Maddie watches him do it, like she was watching a private stripper.
Now she get's really excited and starts to unbutton her blouse as David stops her and goes on with what she was doing.
David whispering: "God Maddie, how did HE do it?"
Maddie talking in a sexy low voice: " I don't know I never did it with HIM before...but let's not go there, shut up and go on with what you're doing ... please"
David:" Ooh I love it when you beg!"

They fall on to the bed and make passionate love like two people who haven't made love in years. (and they really didn't)

Yes this is a night Maddie will never forget. It lasts for hours and hours and totally exhausted she falls into a deep sleep in David's arms and as he watches her sleep he never felt so happy before, not knowing what the rest of the night would bring them.... .

4.00 AM the telephone rings.....................

David: "Because if I had a grandmother, I'd surely know about it!"

Maddie starts to laugh.

Grandma: "Well, I was really sure I had the right number."

David: "I guess you didn't. Good luck with finding the right one."

Grandma: "Thanks boy, these damn cellphones!"

David: "Good night!"

Grandma: "Good night dear."

David puts the phone back where it belongs. Maddie is still laughing.

David: "What's so funny?"

Maddie: "You, you are funny hahaha!"

David: "Oh yeah?"

Maddie: "Yeah, you always where."

David: "I thought you hated that part about me."

Maddie: "No, I didn't. I LOVED that part about you."

David looks into Maddie her eyes, there is a little sparkle in it. He kisses her and they lay down again. David pulls Maddie close against him and that's how he falls asleep. Maddie still has her eyes open. She feels safe and warm with him near her.

Maddie: (whispering) "I love you."

And then she falls asleep.

Taz asked: "What exactly do you mean by Round Robin?"

A round robin in fan fiction, story telling, sports, algorithims, etc means first one person or thing or process goes and then another.

So for a team writing project where you write a section and then stop and pass it to another to write and then it goes to the next person and so on and back again to the person that started it....that is known as a Round Robin. Usually it goes in order around a group so everyone knows who and when they post after, but you guys are managing just fine. It is a great way to have team fun.

David is almost waking up. He can feel the warmth of the sun shining on his face, but he doesn't want to open his eyes yet. Then he noticed something. With his hand he starts to search for Maddie, his eyes are still closed.

David: "Maddie? Are you still here?"

No one answers.

David: "Maddie?"

Still no answer.

David opens his eyes. He looks around, but no sign of Maddie. He jumps out off bed, grabs his clothes from the floor, the chair, the bed. (you get my point) and runs to the front door while trying to get dressed. Just when he wants to open the door he hears a voice, a woman's voice.

Maddie: "David where are you running off to?

David looks towards Maddie, who his wearing his blouse.

David: "Wow, those are the best clothes you've ever worn when I was near!"

Maddie: "David?"

David: "Okay, I've seen you in a way that I like even better than this, not too long ago."

Maddie blushes, David smirks.

David: "So...What are you doing over there?"

Maddie: "I was baking some eggs, are you hungry?"

David: "You and baking eggs? Hmmm, do I have to call the ambulance before or after I ate them?"

Maddie: "David!!"

David: "Okay, I'm sorry."

Maddie: "I've learned some things too you know."

David walks towards her and together they enter the kitchen.

David: " What did you say?"

David: " Oh no oh no! Now what ?Now I can't go out with you anymore or talk to you anymore or think about you anymore....."
Bacause you will know everything I'm thinking, it can't be!"
Maddie:"It's ok I'm NOT gonna use it against ya!"
David: "Ok ok.. a test!.... what am I thinking now?"
Maddie: I don't know if I can say that here....."
David: "I don't care... tell me!"
Maddie with soft voice and blushing: " Ok... well..... you're thinking about last night and what you were doing to me"
David: " No No No too easy, I want details!!"

David smirks and Maddie now walks out of the kitchen into the living room, she feels exhausted from reading his mind.

David: "He are you OK blondie?"

Maddie:" Boy this wears you out! I'm really exhausted now!"

David: "Well this IS all quite strange don't you think? Maybe you should go to bed and have another couple of hours of sleep and I'll pick you up around 2.00 pm for lunch so you only have to work for 3 hours, how's that?".
David is secretly hoping that this whole mindreading thing will be gone after she had slept some more!

Maddie: "Oh thank you David that would be great!"
She kisses him softly on his lips and David is starting to get excited again and tries to stay calm.

Agnes: Well, there is one from your dentist...

David: That time already? I just went there a ..... hmmm, yeah, it's that time already...

Agnes: There is also one from an old lady who waited for someone to pick her up from the airport. She is afraid something happened to the person who was supposed to pick her up. She said she'd take a cab to this place and she'll meet you at 10.00 to tell you the things that happened. That's half an hour from now. That where the messages.

David: Couldn't she just take a cab to the place where she needed to go?

Agnes: I asked the same thing, but she said she already did that. When she arrived at the place she wanted to be, no one was there. Windows where smashed in, car was broken...

David: Strange....Agnes, I'll be in my office.

Agnes: Okay Mr. Addison.

David sits in his chair, looking out of the window, staring into the sky. His thoughts are with Maddie. He takes a deep breath (me too at the moment;) gotta get into the story) and thinks...

David: (thinking) "Who could ever imagine, that after so many years, Maddie and I would be together again. This moring I thought she left again, but she was still in my house, baking eggs. It all seems so surreal, but nice....no, not just nice. It is great! Fantastic! I can't even remember the last time I felt this way. There is something about this girl, I don't know, there is this softness about her...I missed her." *sigh* (drool:drool: may I?)

David stands up and walks to the door, he's on his way to Maddie her office.

David: Miss Dipesto, I'm in Maddie her office if you need me!

Agnes: Okay Mr. Addison!

The staff looked at David and followed him with their eyes.

They kept the place the way it was when she left. David just couldn't handle it if it ever went away. The smell of her perfume was already gone, tho, David could still smell it. (what else do you think after such a night hehe) Then someone knocked on the door. It was Agnes

Agnes: Mr. Addison, there is a woman here to see you.

David: Show her to my office please, I'll be right there.

He takes one last look at Maddie her office and then walks over to his, where the old lady is waiting for him.

David: "Goodmorning, I'm David Addison, how may I help you?"

Old Lady: "Goodmorning Mr. Addison, my name is Claire Hayes".

David: (thinking the name is coincidental): "Hello Mrs Hayes".

Claire: "I came to see you cause I don't know what happened to the man that was supposed to pick me up from the airport this morning".

David: " Is this man a relative or friend?"

Claire: " He's ....... a friend, you see..... I'm married and he's my lover, he lives in LA"...

David:" Aha....". David decides to ask more and the woman tells the story about being unfaithful for 10 years and her husband (living in Chicago!)not knowing about it. But now she's afraid something has happened to him because this morning when she took a cab to his house the windows were smashed and the carwindows too.
She suspects her husband of doing somethimg horrible to her lover 'cause she can't reach him either.

David:" Ok Mrs Hayes I'll take the case.............just one more question..... does the name Maddie Hayes ring a bell?"

Claire: "Mr. Addison, why do think I'm here? Ofcourse, Maddie is my granchild! I now this is her office and I know she's taking a break so that's why I came to see you, because I don't want her to know ofcourse."

David:" Aha.......".

Claire: "Well, I have to go, please Mr. Addison, when you speak to Maddie, don't tell her about me. Here's a cheque for 20.000 dollars I hope that will do it. Are you game?".

David: " Gamer! Downright gamie!" (always liked that line :lol:)

Claire: "Ok hope to hear from you soon, and please be discreet!"

David: "I will Mrs Hayes, I will, we'll keep in touch"

Ok, her is the thing: I love a soapopera and I'm in a forum, and we love doing fanfics, just as you are doing here. But when we write a colective story what we do is write a chapter and then another one has to follow it, but we don't know what the other person is gonna write, so you get really ecxited thinking "ohhh what will she do??" because sometimes we make the episodes reeeeeally hard to continue, you know, very difficult for the next person, with misterious things, new characters, etc...

Well, I'ts just an idea... think about it. You don't have to know everything the other person is gonna write, you just start an episode and then let somebody else follow what you wrote, and if what's written wasn't part of your original plan... well that's ok too, that's good!!! :D

yeah that's exactly what I thought hehe, I'm not sure what Bruce....ehm David is going to do and what is going to happen. I never know what Taz is going to write, so I never know what I'm going to write either untill I'm writing it. It's very hard, but also a lot of fun:D We are just talking a little about how the story should go, but we never know if it's actually going that way;)

Carina is correct.

A true round robin fanfiction is meant to challenge the other writers....it usually leaves off at exactly a suspensful moment that the other writer must resolve to move on. It is supposed to be spontaneous and not planned out in advance.

What makes it fun to participate in and fun for the readers is to watch the twists and turns as it passes from writer to writer....each trying to challenge the other.

David: "Because you and I have to solve a case."

Maddie: "A case? Me? I took a break David!"

Here we go again!!

While Maddie's taking a bath, David decides to sneakpeak into the bathroom.
She sitting with her back towards him and as he admires her back he walks in slowly and sits down on the edge of the tub.
He takes the sponge from the edge of the tub and starts to rub her back with it, .........very gently....very slowly................
Maddie closes her eyes and throws her head back, she is clearly enjoying this, he always was a good backrubber.
Slowly he pours water over her hair as she goes with it all the way.
David: "You know you look sooo darn beautiful like this!"

Maddie still with her eyes closed: "Mmmmmm"
Maddie: "David I think I should get out of the bath now, the cab can be here any minute and I have to dry my hair"

David is thinking:-but I didn't call a cab yet sweetheart, so I can get in there with you!-

Maddie: "Ok, let's go! Help me out of the tub"

David: "It's gone isn't it?"

Maddie: "Gone? What is gone?"

David:" Your mindreading skills!"

Maddie:" Uhh??! Yeah I guess so! Yay!"

David: "Pfew! Thank goodness! That's a relief"

Maddie: "I don't know what happened but it was funny to know what you were thinking, now I know for sure that you always think like I think you think!"

Maddie: "I think and I know now that you are a very bad boy sometimes that needs a mouthwash!!! Aaaaahhhh"
Maddie pulls David into the tub and he falls in on top of her and lands with his head on her breasts.
David:" I always thought this was a great place to land!!"

Maddie:"David..... what about that cab?"

David:"I didn't call one yet!"

Maddie:" Ooohhhh you!!"

They start to kiss passionately and as we hear the moaning of Maddie and the groaning of David and splashing of the water we fade to black

After one hour they're both ready to go and get into the cab and drive to Maddie's house.
She changes her clothes and they are off in Maddie's car to the house of the man they are looking for.
They see his car outside, all wrecked up, windows smashed and tyres empty.
Then they walk to his door and ring the bell, no answer....
Davids rings it again, still no answer......

Maddie: "Kick it down"

David: " Now Maddie you don't just kick somebody's door down!"

Maddie:" David kick it or I'll ....."

David interrupts her: "..... kick you! Yeah I still remember from another episode!"

David kicks the door open and they find a big mess in the house of the unknown lover.
David:" Well I think the old gran was right! Something might have happened to this guy!"

Maddie: "David here's a picture on the wall, maybe that's him, he's with a woman, they look young!"

David:" Well let's take that picture before anyone else does."

Then all of a sudden a man runs into the appartment and tries to take the picture of Maddie's hands.
Maddie yells her famous "maddieyell" and David comes to her aid.
David and the guy get in a serious fight and David's nose is broken.
Maddie throws herself on the men and starts to punch the guy as hard as she can.
The guy surrenders and rolls on his back, almost unconscious.
David is lying on his back, his eyes closed,
Maddie crawls over to him on hands and knees, tearing up her pantyhose.
She is scared.
Maddie:"David, David are you ok?? David!!"
No answer.
Then the other guy opens his eyes......

The man grabs Maddie from behind. Maddie starts to fight again, but it doesn't help. Then the man holds a gun against her back.

Man: "You better listen to me or you are never going to be able to listen to anyone again."

Maddie stays quiet, afraid that if she says something, he's going to kill her.

Man: "Help me to carry your boyfriend to that chair over there."

Maddie does what he tells her to do. As David is sitting in the chair, still with his eyes closed, unconscious, the man orders her to sit down on the other chair.

Later we see Maddie and David binded to the chair. The man is gone. Maddie looks at David. She doesn't know what to do and panics.

Maddie: "David, David, please wake up!"

She moves the chair closer to him.

Maddie: "David, please, I need you."

A tear rolls over her cheek.

David starts to move a little with his eyes.

Maddie: "David, open your eyes, you're going to be alright, it's all going to be alright."

David slowly opens his eyes and Maddie moves even closer with her chair.

Maddie: "I'll untie (is this right) you."

David (wispering): "Are you alright Maddie."

Maddie: "I'm fine David, how is your nose?"

David (wipering): "A little smaller."

Maddie smiles a little, knowing he's in pain.

Maddie: "There...you can move now."

David starts to untie Maddie.

David: "Who was that guy?"

Maddie: "I have no idea, but we have to find out. I'm sure he has something to do with this mess! But we are going to the hospital first"

David released Maddie and together they are walking out of the appartment.

Then Maddie sees something laying on the ground.

Maddie: "David...Look, this looks like a note...maybe it's important."

She starts to read the note out loud...

THE STORY GOES ON..


Maddie starts reading: "Darling... I miss you and I want to see you soon. Please call or write!
I love you, J".

Maddie: "David, I think this is a letter written by Claire's lover to her."

David:" Looks like...... Keep it with you, but first I wanna go and have my nose fixed!".

Maddie:"Oh ofcourse ! Let's go to the hospital".

20 minutes later they are in the emergency room, David is called in by a doctor, who tells him his nose isn't broken but badly bruced (??).
He gives David some painkillers and the partners are off to the office.

In Maddie's office 9.00 pm:
Maddie: "Ok let get this straight, Claire Hayes, comes into your office and asks you to go and find her dissapeared lover, then we go to his place which is most likely all wrecked up by a guy who is looking for something and attacks us, then we find this letter, and I think this was a letter that guy was looking for.....what do you think?"
silence....

Maddie looks up to David, he's asleep on the couch of her office.
Maddie: " He always falls asleep on that couch!"
Maddie walks over to him and she sits down next to a sleeping David.
Looking at him she whispers:" You know partner....I was really scared there in that house for a moment, I thought you were seriously hurt.... and you know what..... the thought of ever losing you makes me go crazy...... I love you David, I hope you'll never forget that".
Maddie starts to notice that a tear runs down her face, she's crying and that makes her realise that she really DOES love this man eventhough she can hate him easily sometimes, she really HAS feelings for this man, she never had before.

David moans a little as she wakes up from her deep thoughts.
She kisses him on the cheek, that wakes him up and as he opens his eyes he sees Maddie's face, all red from crying, an inch away from his and he kisses her on the lips.
He whispers in her ear: "You know..... I heard all that......."
Maddie lays her head on his chest and smiles........as she says:
"Good".
Then they fall asleep very tired of this nervwrecking day ............

Around 2.00 am they both wake up and decide to drive home.

Maddie's house:

Maddie:" Well... do you want a drink or shall we go to bed right now?"

David: "Well, before we go to bed I would like to have a beer, I feel much better after that little nappy and a couple of painkillers".

Maddie smiles: "I'm sure you do".

David drinks his beer and Maddie has a Scotch.

David:" I think this is a nice moment to have a little talk about what you said in the office".

Maddie:" Oh about the case you mean..."

David interrupts her: "NO Madeline Hayes, not about THAT case about your case of me, my case of you, our case of us.."

Maddie: "What about that, you heard me and I meant it".

David:" Well if that's true then I want you to sit here next to me and listen to me...."
Maddie sits down next to him on the couch.

Maddie: "I'm listening".

David:" O K , I just want to say....... ehm.... this is a little odd...
ehm .....Maddie...... do you want to make it official?"

Maddie feels her temperature rising and her face turns red....

Maddie: "David are you saying what I think you're saying?"

David: "Ehm.... I'm not saying, I'm asking....... boy this is weird!"

Maddie: "Weird? do you think asking me to marry you is weird?"

David:" You know what I mean, I just realised that I never would have thunk that this could happen, and now I'm here in your house asking you to be my wife, which btw is not yet answered ".

Maddie looks at him and starts to smile, the kind of smile that makes every man sizzle and wizzle.
David looks at her and her eyes are blue-er than ever.

Then he hears it, the word he was waiting for.......

Maddie: "YES!"

David looks at her, surprised, happy, overwhelmed, somehow he thought she would say "let me think about it" or "not now, maybe later".
But she said YES, she said it!!!

Then they kiss intensely and David takes her in his arms, lifts her up and takes her upstairs to her bedroom, there he lays her on the bed and they kiss, hug and touch eachother......

David: "I love you Maddie, I'm such a happy guy right now!"

Maddie: "Let me make you even happier" she smiles and rolls on top of him................... as we hear Angie Stone's and Joe's " More than a Woman" (excellent lyrics for this one!) in the background, we fade to black

The next morning............

Maddie: "So why aren't we going to the source of the whole thing?"

David: "What do you mean? You want to go to Chicago to ask questions to the husband?"

Maddie: "Well, maybe we can just go spy on him or something, maybe he's going to make a mistake and reveals something that should have stayed a secret."

David: "That's not the reason why you want to go there, right?"

Maddie: "Well...."

David: "I knew it!"

Maddie: "Okay, you're right, I want to visit my parents to tell them everything that happened between us the last 2 days!"

David: "EVERYTHING!?!?!"

Maddie: "Okay, not that kind of everything haha."

Stephanie you write really well. And its not even your own language. You Dutch people have amazing language skills. When I was in Amsterdam and Maastricht everyone I came across could speak to me in English. So keep on with the story, I am loving it :D

3 hours later they are on the plane to Chicago.
They both sit silently and look straight forward to the little screen in front of them, there's a movie on..... "Taming of the Shrew".

David: " I love this movie, don't you?"

Maddie:" Yeah, but I do think it's a little manfriendly in the beginning, I'm glad it turns around somewhere in the middle in favour of women".

David:" I knew it! You're still the sexist you ever were!"

Maddie (immediatly angry): "What? Are you starting that again?"

David laughing out loud:" Gotcha!! I knew you would bite, but haven't you forgotten something?"

Maddie a little calmer:"Forgotten what?"

David: " I did call you a SEXY sexist, remember?"

Maddie: "Boy, that helps! You know Addison I don't know what to do with you sometimes,,,"
David: "Oh baby, you can do anything you want with me! Use me, abuse me!"

Maddie starts to tickle him under the blanket they share and David giggles really loud, until the stewardess comes and asks them to be a little more quiet....

Then they both giggle some more like they're high school kids again.

Suddenly they stop,look at eachother and share a deep passionate kiss under the blanket...

Later ......

They're in a cab on their way to Maddie's parents, she didn't call them, she want it to be a surprise visit.

A little later at her parent's place...

Mrs. Hayes opens the door and screams out loud:
" Maddie, David, what a surprise!!"

Mr. Hayes comes running to the door too.

Maddie: "Mom , Dad, so good to see you!"

They hug and they enter the house.

Mrs. Hayes :" Well what brings you two to Chicago?"

David: "Well we have a little newsflash for you but I think Maddie should tell you".
Maddie: "Oh David....."
Maddie:" Mom, Dad, we're .............................................................
here on a case and we thought to visit you and stay here as long as we're on the case, is that ok?"

David looking with a surprised face: " Yeah that's what we're here for!"

Mrs. Hayes: "Oh well that's fine ofcourse, you can stay in Maddie's old bedroom, no problem".

Maddie:" Good, now is it ok if we put our things in the room?"

Mr. Hayes: "Sure sweetheart, I'll help you".

David:" No Mr. Hayes that's OK I will take the bags upstairs".

Maddie and David walk up the stairs and they enter maddie's old bedroom, she sighs....

David: "What did you do just now?"

Maddie: "What do you mean?"

David: "You know exactly what I mean Madeline Hayes! Why didn't you tell them about us getting married?"

Maddie:"David I wanted to wait till dinner, with some wine and candlelight, not just drop it like a bomb after we are here for only a minute!"

David smiling:" Jeez baby you know how to give me the heebeejeebees! I thought you changed your mind..."

Maddie:" Me? Change my mind? Now when have I ever done such a thing?" She grins..

David:" You know you can be a devlish (for you Kismet) woman sometimes!"

She walks over to him and wraps her arms around his neck and kisses him gently on the lips.
With one hand he runs his fingers through her hair and he kisses her back harder, while the other hand slides under her blouse.....
while kissing they walk towards the bed and just as they want to
lay down on the bed they hear a knock on the door and it opens immediatly after the knock... it's Mr. Hayes..

Mr. Hayes:" Oh I'm sorry, I didn't think....well, you know..."

Maddie: "Doesn't matter Daddy, it's ok, we'll be right downstairs"

David looks a little dissapointed thinking about what he's about to miss, but nods also at Mr. Hayes.
Mr. Hayes closes the door and David continues to nuzzle her neck and gives her his famous babykisses on the cheek all the way to her mouth, then Maddie stops him and looks down..

Maddie with a low voice:"Is that a cellphone in your pocket or are you just happy to see me??

David grins, starts to blush and rushes off to the bathroom, 5 minutes later he comes out and says he's ready to go downstairs.
They go downstairs and have dinner.
They talk about a lot of things untill David stands up and kneels down before Maddie....

David:"Mr and Mrs. Hayes, I finally have a chance to traditionnaly ask you what I'm gonna ask you ....and Maddie..
Mr. Hayes....I hereby want to ask you officially for your daughter's hand .... and everything else that's attached to that...
and I hope you will accept me as a son in law.
And Maddie I hereby want to ask YOU officially in front of your parents..... will you marry me Blondie Blonde?
Mrs Hayes is in tears and Maddie is crying also and thinking: -Oh boy, I never thought he could be such a romantic-
Maddie looks into his deep green eyes and screams:"Yes David, yes! Then they embrace and kiss...

Mr. Hayes speaks: "David, son, I think that after all the struggles you two had, that this is what you both deserve, finally. To love eachother and promise me to not let go of eachother ever more.
I wish you two all the luck in the world and please give it another try and ....make me a grandpa for crying out loud!

David smiling:" Wouldn't want to dissapoint you in that sir, I'll do my best! I will take good care of your daughter because you know what I said to you on that plane and that hasn't changed".

Maddie and Mrs Hayes: " Said what on what plane?"

Mr. Hayes: "Never mind ladies that's something between David and me"
Then they all hug and congratulate and they have champaign and cocktails.
Then they're off to bed where Maddie and David do a little more celebrating of their own...
It's romantic, exstatic, steamy and oh hell..... you can imagine the rest yourselfs.

David and Maddie are in the (rented ) car driving through Chicago.

David: "Well what do you think about last night?"

Maddie: "MMM, I thought that was clear... I wasn't being very quiet, was I?"

David: "NO I didn't mean that, you Vixen, you!
I meant the dinner and the proposal and all that hugging and crying and stuff!"

Maddie's smiling and looking at David: "Wel, I must say..... I never thought you were this romantic and that really broke me you know. It was a beautiful night David and the most romantic proposal I ever had".

David:" Oh yeah? And what about Sam?"

Maddie:" Who's Sam?"

David looking at her :"Eeeeeuw!! I like you a lot, you know?"

Maddie smiles silently and they look into eachothers eyes, no words can describe the atmosphere in the car......BOOM! The car is filled with CHEMISTRY!

They stop at the adress that Claire Hayes gave David before they left, Maddie carries the old picture and the note with her.

They ring the bell, no answer...
They knock on the door, no answer...
Then a man walks up to the door and asks them what they want and who they are looking for.

David: "We're looking for Mr. Fred Hayes, do you know him?

Man: "Yes he lives here but I haven't seen him in a while, I thought he was on vacation".

David:" Well that may be so but do you know where he would go on vacation?"

Man:"I believe I heard him talk to a neighbour saying he was going to LA. But who are you people anyway?"

David:" Oh I'm Hankey and she's Pankey, we're from the HankeyPankey Cleaningservice just picking up some suits for Mr. Hayes but.... I guess we can go on 'cause he ain't a round! Thank ya sir!"

Maddie:" David, you amaze me sometimes"

David grinnig:"I know that's what I heard last night!"

In the car.....

Maddie:"Well I guess this trip is a short one because we have to go to LA!"

David:"Now, now, not so fast, how about we tell your parents we have to go home, check into a hotel, and do a little pre-honeymooning?"

Maddie:"Pre-honeymooning? Well......"

David:"Well.....?"

Maddie:"What about that case?"

David:"It can wait for a day or two."

Maddie:"No David it doesn't feel right, we need to know what happened and solve this case and then I can be relaxed and we can enjoy our pre-honeymooning as you call it".

David:"Ok I guess you're right, let's go home, and solve this thing tomorrow".

Maddie"OK, now I'm really surprised".

David:" About what?"

Maddie:"That you agree with me so fast! What's the catch?"

David rubbing her leg:"You are my catch, Miss Hayes!"

Maddie:" Oh oh.. I feel something coming up when we're home...."

David grins :D :" Yeah me too..."

After saying goodbye to her parents who were a bit dissapointed, they are on their way to the airport, they drop the car and fly home.

Later that day at Maddie's house they eat a pizza together, by candlelight and they are sitting on the rug by the fireplace and talked a little about the wedding..

Maddie:"You know David... I like this, sitting on the floor eating pizza with you by candlelight with some red wine. We never did this before you know, this is what I meant 10 years ago in that Laundromat".

David:"I know, you just never gave me the chance to change the situation. I'm glad we met again and we're both older and wiser and that worked for us! This 10 year break was a good thing".

Maddie:"Well I think we have a lot of catching up to do.....(lowers her voice) shall we go to bed?"

David:"Can I finish my pizza first?"

Maddie crawls toward him and pulls the pizzapart out of his hand and throws it away, the room is now lit by the fireplace only and David sees her face glowing in the light of the flames, her eyes are big and very blue and it almost freightens him the way she's seducing him. But he's letting her do it to him and he is really curious about what her plans are for him......

She starts to kiss him all over, his neck, his chin, his nose, then she starts to unbutton his shirt, one button, two buttons..... gggggerereeeekk, she rips his shirt open.

She keeps looking into his eyes the whole time and he almost feels hypnotized. He's lying on his back now.....
She kisses his chest, his belly, his bellybutton, and some other parts below the waist that I can't write about here..
David is going nuts, he's in a trance and enjoys every second of what she's doing to him.
This night is different, she is different, this night is special, he knows it, he feels it.......this is definitely his naughtiest dream, coming true.

The next morning they wake up in eachothers arms on the rug before the fireplace with nothing but some clothes as a blanket.
Maddie is cold and starts to moan as she wakes up and looks at David.
Maddie:"Hi"

David glowing:"Yeah, I still am a little"

Maddie smiles, she knows that last night was the greatest night they ever had together and pulls his naked body closer to hers, to feel the warmth of his body.

An hour later they get up, it's still only 8.30..............

Okay here we go again:

Maddie and David walk to the car. Maddie is about to sit in the driversseat when David starts to talk to her:

David: No, don't sit down!

Maddie: Why?

David: I'll drive.

Maddie: But I can drive too.

David: Maddie, I just want to drive my future-wife to the office.

Maddie: O-kay...?

Maddie tosses the key to David.

David: Thank you.

Maddie walkes around the car and passes David. He pulls her back and gives her a soft kiss.

David: I love you.

Maddie: For giving you the keys? David, what's going on? I never saw you like this before.

David: Oh nothing.

He smirks.

Maddie: Addisoooon!

David just stands there and Maddie isn't sure how to react to this weird behaviour.

Maddie: You're acting a little weird.

David: I do? Well, I was thinking this morning.

Maddie: NO! Call a doctor!

David: When I woke up with you laying next to me I thought, why did this beautiful woman chose me? And I begged the guy upstairs not to wake me up if this was a dream.

Maddie (with a tear in her eye): David, you are the best thing that ever happened to me.

They share another kiss and smile a loving smile to eachother. Then they enter the car and drive away

On their way to the office.

Maddie is looking out of the window. David looks at her and then back at the road. And then...

David: Maddie?

Maddie: Yes David?

David: We are busy on this case for almost a week now, didn't you notice something about the woman who gave us this case?

Maddie: Yes, she has the same last name as I, why?

David looks a little confused now.

Maddie: David, what's the matter?

David: Well, you kinda act like you don't know her. I thought you would have been furious at me right now....

Maddie: No, I don't and I'm not.

David: Don't what?

Maddie: I don't know the woman that gave us this case. I never saw her before.

David: What? You never saw your grandmother before???

Maddie: My what? David, are you saying you think this woman is my grandmother?

David: That's what I said, right?

Maddie: David, that's rediculous! My grandmother passed away years ago.

David: So if this isn't your grandmother, who is it?

Maddie: I have no idea. Why would she say she's my grandmother?

David: I don't know, ask that to the writers!

Maddie: I don't think they know it either.

David: Maddie, they wrote this, ofcourse they know why!

Maddie: No, it's a Round Robin game.

David: What's that? They keep rolling around?

Maddie: David, just wait till we get the next script okay! Then we will know what's going on.

David: It better be something good.

Later in the office.....

Later in Maddie's office.....

Maddie: "So what's this about her being my Grandmother??"

David:" You know what ... I think she yanked my chain... eeehm I gave her back the cheque she wrote out to us, because I thought she was family and I wanted to do for free... "

Maddie a little mad:" And why didn't you say this before, David?"

David:"Because she told me not to tell you, one way or the other she found out about your break and she took advantage of me"

Maddie:"Well, maybe you should call her and get her down here so we can clear this up, I really want to talk to that woman!".

David:"I already tried to call her but she doesn't pick up the phone".

Maddie:" Right! Ofcourse she doesn't, she thinks we're solving her case while she can lay back and relax, who knows maybe she's on a beach somewhere in the South Pacific!"

Maddie:"Damn David, she ripped us off!"

David:"So, do you wanna quit this case?"

Maddie:"NO! I wanna know what's going on anyway. Let's go to that guy's house again and let's see if we can find out some more!"

Later at the lover's house......

David:"Maddie let's be careful, I think maybe you should wait in the car".

Maddie:"What? Are you nuts? We're going in there together David, no discussions".

David:"Look, I know you don't like this and that it sounds macho and everything but I don't want anything to happen to you, pleas stay in the car?"

Maddie:"David I really appreciate your concern but I will be fine, besides I don't even think there's anybody in there."

David:" Maddie, I want you to stay here and that's final, now listen to me for once, I got a bad vibe about this"

David looks very concerned and Maddie looks in his eyes and sees he means every word he says.

She decides to stay, he gives her a kiss and he walks into the apartment.
David knocks on the door, no answer but he hears footsteps so he kicks the door open and finds Claire Hayes in the arms of Fred Hayes.......

David:"What the ...? What are you two doing here? And by the way Claire...... who he??

Claire looking caught:" Ehhm, David this is Fred Hayes, my husband...."
David:"I thought you couldn't find your husband but it looks like you did huh? And now you wanted to do the horizontal hoochiecoochie in this other guys apartment? I'm sorry but I think I'm confuzzled".

Claire:"I understand but you see, we..........look behind you!"

David looks behind him and the other two escape out of the window onto the fire-escape.
David hits himself on the head and calls himself stupid.

He jumps out of the window and starts screaming for Maddie.
She immediatly reacts to his screams and starts the car and drives around the building.
Claire and Fred are running out of the alley but Maddie parks the BMW at the end and stops them.
David catches Mr. Hayes and Maddie catches Claire.

Maddie:"Well GRANDMA you didn't think you're GRANDDAUGHTER was this fast, did ya? Now it's time for some explaining".
Claire starts to cry and while she's sitting in the back of the Beamer she starts to talk...
Claire:"I didn't want anything to happen to him, I really didn't but Fred killed him and...." Davis interrupts her:"Whoaa! Wait a second, what do you mean killed him?"
Claire:" Fred found out about John, my lover, he killed him and then he dissapeared. We bumped into eachother again in his apartment while he was looking for any evidence that pointed in his direction , I decided to go look for the picture so the police couldn't link me to John. We started to argue about it and then Fred kissed me and I was in 7th heaven again, I just couldn't help myself!
David looking at Maddie:" Yeah, I know what you mean".

Claire:"I just didn't have the guts to tell you that Fred and I are together again and ofcourse I don't want Fred to go to jail, it was an act of passion!".

Maddie:" I think we should go to the police and let THEM find that guy, David"
David:"Yeah I think our duo can do some more talking at the policestation."
David:"But tell me one thing, who was that guy that attacked us in that apartment?"
Claire:" He is a guy I asked to go look for evidence in the first place, he thought you two were a threat and tied you up. He told me all about it".
David:"Well, if you see him tell him he owes me a hospital bill which brings me to the fee you owe us, Claire".
Claire:" I'll write out a check when we're at the police station".

Maddie:"No David, I don't want any money from this woman, it's bloodmoney!"

David:"I think we have to do a little chitchat Madeline Hayes"

An hour later Maddie and David walk out of the policestation and drive home...
In the car:

Maddie:" David, I really don't want that money!"

David:"Yes you do, because... Miss Hayes, we have to pay the rent of the office and the salaries of our hardworking employees, so stop argueing about it, will ya?".

Maddie looks at David with a dissapointed look, she knows he's right, they do need the money and she decides to put it to rest.

At Maddie's place..... 20.00 pm

David:"Hungry?"

Maddie:"Yeah! I could eat a horse!"

David:"Well I can't buy you a horse but I CAN buy you some dinner!"

Maddie walks to him and puts her arms around his neck.

Maddie:"You know what? I really loved the fact that you were so concerned about me this afternoon at that guy's apartment".

David feeling like a hero:" You do huh? Well sometimes I just have bad vibes and I would never ever forgive myself if something happens to you while I could have known".

Maddie:"Oh David......"

She kisses him on the cheek.

David:"Cheek? You're kissing me on the cheek? Is that all? I thought I deserved a little more than that".

Maddie:"You do, but after you bought me dinner, let's go!"
She smacks him on the butt as she walks to the door.

David:"Yes ma'am!"

They have a romantic dinner with candlelight and wine and they talk some more about the case and their weddingplans.

They decide to change plans and get married in Hawaii, with nobody but eachother to give all their attention to.

23.00 pm at Maddie's house...

Maddie hangs up the phone.

Maddie:" Boy, my mom was really dissapointed hearing about Hawaii. She wanted so much to be there when we get married.
I hate this".

David:"Yeah, I can imagine..... maybe.....we...well no"

Maddie:"Whaaaaaat? What were you trying to say David?"

David:"Well let's say we through a little more money away and invite them to Hawaii...."

Maddie jumps up:"Oh David, do you really mean that? That would make them soooo happy!!"

Maddie throws herself at David and hugs him as hard as she can, David almost turns purple saying:" Maddie, have you gained weight?"

Maddie:"What? Well you really know how to kill the mood!"

David:"I'm sorry but it's just that you look a little bigger these days and I just want to know, you know?"

Maddie:"OK I will be honest about it, I did gain some weight, I started to feel sick in the morning too this week and I think I'm going to see the doctor tomorrow".

David:" Whoooa!! Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Can you read my mind again? Geezz I hope it's true Maddie...."

Maddie still on top of him:"Me too, David, me too......"

They kiss and hug eachother and then they go to bed, we all know what's gonna happen next but there's a difference.....
David is a little more careful..... you never know, you know...

The next morning at the office, David is walking around in his office with his hands on his head, really nervous...
Then there's a knock on the door.
David:"Spit and slide under!"

It's Maddie...........................................


and she's smiling the BIGGEST smile she ever had......
(freeze frame)

Now what could that mean?

Not in my neighborhood. I have a friend who is expecting a baby next month. She's 45 also. Over ten years ago, she adopted a baby after several years of trying to conceive, then just as the baby was to be officially theirs, she found out she was pregnant (actually several months along at the time)! The kids are in the same grade in school, and everyone just assumes they are twins. She wasn't trying to conceive this time -- it just happened.

She is excited and scared at the same time.

I also knew a woman who had a baby at 51 -- you never know what a woman's body is capable of.

And our strong girlfriend can handle this! No problem!
