I'm thinking it is in "Very Old Shoes, Very Old Rice," where they get married again. Laura says they need someone to watch Rich and when the judge questions them, "Rich?", they say Rich is their dog. One of my favorite lines from the whole series is at the end of this episode when they say they promised to take Rich to the movies and Mr. Parker (the witness played brilliantly by Burt Mustin) says, "Even at my age, I'd rather go on a honeymoon than take a dog to the movies!" :rofl: :rofl: :dog: :dog:

Harding, The Petries were the victims of burglars who stole their dining set. Does their Mexican divorce count as something to do with court? A cat burglar stole Rob's birthday watch, but I can't remember if the police played any part in that one.

Oh, and the FBI used the Petrie home for a stake-out.

In the Season-Three episode "My Neighbor's Husband's Other Life", after Rob and Laura arrive back home after observing Jerry having dinner with "Toni Gagliardi" at the "White Peacock" (West), Rob is talking to Laura while eating a cookie. During this cookie-eating scene, as Rob utters the words "Forget what I said" (which culminates a very funny hunk of dialogue after Rob assures Laura "Look, honey, when a man is out on the town, he doesn't go around telling girls he's married -- Forget what I said!" :lol:).

In the midst of Rob's "Forget what I said" line, guess what occurs?? -- Answer: Rob loses part of the cookie he's eating...with a piece of the snack food easily visible on camera as he accidentally spits it out. :)

Interestingly (or not :)), you might like to know that there's yet another episode where Rob can be seen spitting out food. In "A Surprise Surprise Is A Surprise", at the breakfast table early in the show, Rob loses a tiny piece of egg (I think it's egg) as he's eating and talking at the same time.

We know Richie is an only child, but did Rob & Laura ever mention having another? If so, how many times?

Yes, they did mention about having another one. I beleive it was 2 times.

The only one I can think of is from the Harrison B. Harding episode. Rob and Laura hear Ritchie telling the Hardings that his father promised that someday he'll have siblings. So Laura gives Rob a look, and Rob tells her that he's been meaning to talk to her about that.

The "Harding" ep was the first time. In it, according to Richie, Rob promised him a sibling, which means I may have uncovered another break in the continuation of the show; "Revisited" should have featured another Petrie child born to them later in life, as so many couples are doing today (preferrably a daughter)! The second time was in Season 5's "Go Tell The Birds & Bees", ep #136. I know you'll remember this; in the tag scene Laura sort of laments Richie's not being a baby anymore, and Rob says, "It would be fun to have another one, wouldn't it?" Laura agrees.

I have the perfect actress! Being already a classically trained dancer, I'd like to have seen "Las Vegas" star, Nikki Cox play little Laura. She even has many of her facial expressions!

I think I got it now. They are Ritchie's cards. Rob gave them to him when he was demonstrating magic tricks in the kitchen before the company showed up.

Didn't Buddy wear a monacle briefly in the episode where the reporter from the magazine was supposed to sit in on their day at work. He comes in in a naval outfit and Rob says "Oh, hello, Prince Philip."

Didn't the Maltese Cross Pin belong to Sally?

And didn't Mel own a toupee also in one episode, the one where Buddy quits and they try to get his job back?
