Metroid Prime is the only Metroid game I played besides one of the GBA games at a Super Target. I want to get Super Metroid so badly. I thought that it was just an average game in 1994, when it was first released, but ten years later I'm hearing great stuff about it.

I wish back in those days they didn't make video games so damn expensive. I remember Mortal Kombat 3 for Super Nintendo cost as much as 70 to 80 bucks. Nowadays the highest priced game is $49.99, except for some game that Allison mentioned a while back. Games for every system were given prices that are obscene by today's standards. A Sega Game Gear cost a ton of money, I think twice more than a $100 GBA SP.

Nintendo, Sega, and other video game companies underestimated their audience's affordability to buy these games and systems. A majority of the people buying and playing these games were kids like me who only got an allowance of $20 a month. I was never able to buy a video game of my own until I bought my Sony PlayStation in 1998. Before then I only got new games on my birthday, on Christmas, or when my parents decided to get me a new one if I wanted it (which was very rare). When companies manufacture a product, they usually put a high price on it to get a bigger profit. This strategy possibly killed a lot of potential big sales of games and systems. Thank goodness these people learned from the mistakes of generations past.

Allison isn't as common of a name as I thought it would be...there's common variations like Alison, Alyson, etc...and those are more common. The only thing offhand I can think of is Allison from "The Breakfast Club", played by Ally Sheedy. We have pretty similar names. :D

While they were there, the boy literally stopped in the middle of her store and took a dump on the floor! I am not kidding.

For a really good website that trashes the h*ll out of customers like those, I suggest www.customerssuck.com - be warned, though, some of the stories are gross, but you'll get sooooo many laughs out of it! And there's a ton of stories, too. It should make you feel so much better afterwards, knowing you're not the only one out there that has to work in retail and deal with nasty, freaky or strange people. :)

He was saying this while there were visitors that day. Not good for the school. Someone came in and said, "I want to see the crap on the wall." but a counselor said, "Nope." They had to shut the bathroom down that day to clean it up. Someone did it again sometime later.

On September 12th (in 1999), my fave cousin passed away. :( And John Ritter passed away on the 11th too but when he passed away, it was 10pm California time so it was midnight Central time on the 12th, which sucks even more because I really liked John Ritter. I started taping movies first, and when I got all of the movies I ever wanted on tape I got hooked on taping sitcoms. I bet you had some interesting shows on tape cause you said you started taping shows in the 80's. If I knew how to operate a vcr in the 80's I cannot imagine the number of shows I would have. LOL.

Night Court. Now that's a show I really regret not taping. It was on all of the time on A&E until late 2002. All of the sudden it was gone, along with Newsradio. I figured these shows would be on forever, but I thought wrong.

Night Court was syndicated widely in the late 80's but then it disappeared . It was always one of my favorites.

OMG a little story about that, Judith really flashed Tony in that episode, she set it up so that it would be a real honest to goodness reaction from him. So the look on his face in that episode is him reacting to her flashing him(it was only the top part though)
