Okay, so I finally got the will to write again! :) idk how long it will last ;), but here's what I have so far!! kinda confusing in the beginning,but that's how it's supposed to be ;). tell me what you think, and maybe i'll post more someday. :D

“Kate, do you really think I can handle this?” CD nervously asked as she gathered up her new clothes.

Kate smiled. “You’re more than ready, CD. You’ve been around for awhile, and you’re skilled enough to do this case.”

She nodded. “Thanks for the reassurance. I’m close to getting a break in it, actually.”

“I had no doubts.”

CD smirked. “Alright, well, I have to tie up some loose ends before I go, so I better…..”

Kate acknowledged the fact that she was being dismissed. “Good luck, Inspector,” she replied prior to giving her a tight squeeze.

CD watched her leave the room as she put another miniskirt into her suitcase.

Nate Basso sniffed the last of his supply. “Dammit, I’m all out,” he muttered to the man sitting next to him.

“I’ll get ya some more. You got the cash?” the man questioned.

Nate nodded. “Yeah, I got it. I’ll go with you.”

The man shook his head. “No, you’ll stay here with Ralph,” he nodded his head toward a black, three hundred pound man who looked as if he could snap Nate into two without breaking a sweat. “Don’t want you getting any ideas.”

Nate agreed. “Fine, just as long as I get my stuff.”

“Oh, you’ll get it alright. Plenty of it.”

“Baby, that was so amazing,” he murmured against her throat.

“Of course it was,” she purred back. “I was doing it to you, wasn’t I?” she grinned.

He smiled. “You’ve always had a way to get to me.”

“How about we do it again?” CD suggested as she slipped her leg across the top of his.

“Damn, woman, you drive me mad.”

“That’s my job,” she giggled.

He played with her hair for a little bit before kissing her lips firmly. “Candy, move in with me. I want you by my side at all times.”

CD sighed. “I don’t know……”

The man slid his hands down her body. “How can I convince you then?” he asked, smiling.

She giggled. “Continue that, and you got yourself a deal.”

He laughed, before making love to her again, and he fell asleep with her pulled tightly to him.

CD stayed awake for another hour, devising a plan. It had worked so far, she decided. She was in. She wanted this to be short and sweet, if she could manage it. The quicker it was over, the quicker she could go back to her life. The quicker she could sign her divorce papers, if they ever came in the mail like they were supposed to, and she could start dating again.

She looked over at the man snoozing against her. “They better not all be like this one out there,” she muttered before pulling away from him a little, to give her some breathing room, so she could join the peaceful world of slumber.

That's sooo good!!! I hope Nate isn't getting drugs though..Post more soon.:)

CD moved into Jim’s tiny apartment the next day. Short skirts, sleazy tops, and tall stilettos now filled one half of his closet.

He grinned as she folded her last pair of underwear into her new drawer. “You didn’t need that many pairs of panties, Candy. I don’t plan on you wearing them for very long.”

She grinned as she joined him on the bed. “So you want me going without any when I meet your friends in a little bit?”

He frowned. “Hell no! You better have some on! They better not touch you, Candy. You’re MINE.”

She kissed him. “Honey, I was just kidding. I’m yours, and yours only.”

“You better be,” he muttered as he looked at his watch. “Damn, baby, it’s almost 4. I told them we’d be at the playhouse at 4!”

“So let’s go,” she suggested as she stood up and readjusted her skirt. “I can’t wait to see inside!”

“Candy, I don’t know if they’ll let you in. I mean, you are relatively new to me, and they’ve never met you. It’s dangerous, sweetie.”

She nodded. “I know that, but I’m with you, and you’ll protect me, right?” she purred into his ear.

“Damn, Candy, you know how to do it to me…” he muttered as he drug her back to the bed.

“We’re not going to make it by 4, are we?” she teased as she saddled up on top of him.

“Depends on quick you can go,” he joked right back.

“Oh baby, then we’ll probably be early,” she chuckled as she began to let him go inside of her. On the inside, however, CD was grimacing, imagining another person, ANYONE, but this guy.

The guys paced back and forth at the playhouse. “Where the **** is he?!” one of them muttered.

Nate rolled his eyes. “Probably screwing that ho that he’s always talking about. What’s her name? Tootsie Roll? Chocolate cake?”

The other guy laughed. “You’re close. Her name’s Candy. Jim says she’s really special,” he rolled his eyes. “But aren’t all hookers special in some way?”

They all laughed as Jim and Candy pulled up.

“Speaking of which,” another guy mumbled as they all stood up to meet this new woman of Jim’s.

“Damn,” Nate muttered under his breath as she walked up to them.

“Aww, she hit you where it hurt, didn’t she?!”

CD grinned as the guys shook her hand. “So do I get to go into the playhouse, or do I have to stay out here, all by my lonesome?”

“Honey, you might’ve started out on a good note with us, but we’ve just met you. You don’t need to be snooping around our business. Not yet anyway.”

Another guy nodded. “Yeah, sweetie, but you don’t have to stay out here by your lonesome.”

“I don’t? Well, who’s going to stay here with me then?” she asked.

They laughed as one of them shoved Nate out.

“Hey, way to volunteer, Nate!” they laughed as Nate muttered and frowned as the rest of them walked into the house.

Jim kissed CD firmly on the lips. “I’ll be out in about an hour, gorgeous. Don’t be screwin around,” he spat towards Nate.

Nate rolled his eyes and watched Jim go into the house with the others.

Nate shuffled his feet and walked to the curb of the sidewalk, sitting down.

CD joined him but didn’t sit too close. She noticed how attractive he was and how he seemed so different than the rest of them.

“How’d you fall for HIM?” Nate asked as he picked at the grass growing around the curb.

CD smiled. “What do you mean? Jim’s a good guy.”

“Yeah, he’s alright, but you don’t seem to be the type of person he is.”

“And what type is that?”

Nate shrugged. “I don’t know-- druggy? Alcoholic?”

“What makes you think I’m not either one? Or both, for that matter?”

Nate chuckled. “I can see right through you, lady. Sure, on the outside you’re slutty and you’re wearing too much make up, but on the inside, you’re a pure hearted woman. You’re not a prostitute, are you?”

“Well, no, I’m not anymore. Jim’s taking care of me.”

“But you never were, were ya, Candy?”

“What the hell’s your problem, Mister? You’ve met me for, what, five minutes, and now you think you know everything about me?!”

Nate laughed. “Not everything. Not yet anyway,” he replied as he gently touched her shoulder with his hand.

CD found it feel very relaxing and fitting for his hand to be there, so she didn’t ask him to remove it. “Well, I don’t know everything about you either. Actually, I don’t know anything about you, besides your first name’s Nate, and you try to act like a hard ass in front of your friends, but you’re obviously a softy when the shades are drawn.”

“Shut up,” she muttered.

He laughed. “I was just kidding,” he picked at the grass some more. “But yeah, my first name’s Nate. Last name’s Basso. What else do you want to know?”

CD shrugged. “Where did you come from before this? How did you get involved with them? What’s in that house they call ‘the playhouse?’”

Nate sighed, answering very carefully, cautious not to blow his cover. “I was a messenger and deliverer before this. Your buddy, Jimmy, was my dealer, and I got good enough to be included with their buys and stuff. And if you don’t know what’s in the playhouse, then you’re not as smart as what I took you for.”

“Drugs?”

Nate grunted. “What else?”

She nodded. “So why’d they make you stay out here with me?”

“I’m the last one on the totem pole, Candy. I’m the gopher. Whatever they say, I do. Whatever I’m supposed to take, I take. Whatever they need tested, I test it. Get it?”

She nodded. “Sounds like a ****ty job.”

He nodded. “It is. It’s terrible, but one day it’ll get me higher. I’m supposed to go along on my first job in about a month. I get to buy with them, if I can continue to prove myself.”

She nodded and let what he’d just informed her sink in. She, too, started playing with the grass.

He looked over at her. Her long, slender fingers gently playing with each blade, her eyes had a look of concentration, and her feet had tiny sores, he could see, from her uncomfortable shoes. “So what about you? You got to ask me questions. Is it my turn yet?”

She smiled. “Sure. It’s only fair.”

He grinned. He loved the way she smiled, he noticed. “Um, what did you do before Jim? And don’t try and pull off that BS about the hooker. You might have been one for him, but you sure as hell weren’t one long before you met him. You’re not hooker material.”

“What IS hooker material?” CD asked him.

“Candy, come on, I’m a little smarter than what you’re giving me credit. I should’ve been a detective, I’m telling ya!” he pointed at her feet. “You’re feet are swelling and have blisters from your shoes. Hookers wear shoes like that all the time, so their feet adapt and don’t swell after awhile.” He pointed at her uncrossed legs. “And look at that! You’re giving the next person that walks up to us a free show!! Any experienced hooker would know how to sit in that little skirt and not flash anyone until they saw the dough!”

CD didn’t know what to do. Panic was the first emotion that stuck her. She decided to go with the flow. She burst out laughing. “Okay, so you caught me,” she chuckled as she carefully invented a story that wouldn’t blow her cover. “I was a waitress at a rundown restaurant. Jim came in one day, and I noticed him. I wasn’t his waitress, and he doesn’t know this, mind you, but I watched him leave and noticed what he walked up to.”

“A hooker or a dealer?”

She smiled. “A hooker.”

“So you decided to dress up as a little ho and hope to get him?!” Nate asked in disbelief before laughing hysterically after she nodded yes.

“It was the only way to get his attention!”

He continued to chuckle. “So what does that tell you, Candy?!”

She shrugged. “I don’t know, he likes a good time?”

He laughed some more. “Well, that, and he likes his sex to be paid for! Why the hell would you want him?!”

She shrugged. “That’s none of your business,” she muttered defensively.

He looked at her strangely and saw that she wasn’t laughing. “Hey, Candy, I was just kidding!”

“Yeah, whatever,” she murmured.

“Look, I’m sorry, I just thought that you should be doing better than what you’ve got.”

“Oh yeah?!” CD exclaimed, thinking about her own life and not ‘Candy’s.’ “How the hell would you know?! How do you know I can do better?! What if I can’t?! What if every guy I’ve ever known has treated me like ****?!”

She laughed as she pulled away from him. She didn’t want Jim to see and get jealous. She also didn’t want to admit how much she was liking being wrapped up in this man’s arms. “You could? How could you help me get away from the drugs, the alcohol, and all the other **** I put up with when all of your friends are the exact same way?

Nate shrugged. “Well, I’m not like them. What about me?”

She chuckled. “What about you? You ARE just like them; you’re training to be just like them!”

“Not for long,” he commented. “One more month, and I’m out. Just as soon as the big one comes. Then I’m history.”

Me, too, CD thought to herself. “Won’t you be history if they knew you’re planning on leaving them?”

Nate’s eyes widened for a second. He’d let his guard down and told this stranger too much information. “Well, ya know, I’ll probably stay, I was just blowing, trying to get you to date me…..”

She frowned. “Um, yeah, alright,” she paused as she saw the guys come out of the playhouse. “Your secret’s safe with me,” she whispered into his ear before standing up and running to Jim.

Awwwww, Lisa, that was SO AMAZING!!!! Every post I love this fic more! The chemistry between them was so well written in this scene. I loved it. And WOW, thanks for TWO posts in one day! That was such a great surprise! :) :) :) Post more soon!

Nate grinned as he watched after her.

Jim put his arms around her and kissed her full force. She grimaced when the full smell of marijuana caught her in the face.

“Aw, Jim, you should’ve warned me! You reek!” she complained as she turned away.

“What?” Jim frowned, angry. “You better not be complaining, bitch! I just begged on my knees for some for you!”

CD held back a gagging reflex as he held the bag up. “Oh, you did?”

“Hell yes I did! You said you did that kind of stuff!”

She looked over at Nate, who winked. She turned back and nodded. “I know. I DO do it, but I just don’t like the smell unless I’m involved.”

Jim laughed as he began kissing her neck. “Well, let’s get you involved, sugar,” he murmured against her skin. He looked towards his buddies while his hands slid down to her backside. “We better be going,” he winked at them as he led CD to the car.

“Wahoo!” “Right on!” “Thatta way, Jim!” hollers were heard as CD and him got into the car.

Nate waved a little as he watched her face turn light green as she began to smoke what was now hers. He laughed to himself, wondering what in the hell that woman was doing, being with a man like him. She needed to be with someone good. Someone clean. Someone who would come home to her every night and rub her feet. Someone named Nate Basso.

Jim drug CD to the bed as soon as they got back. He stripped her of all of her clothes and began to make love to her.

CD didn’t know why she was enjoying it so much. She moved with him, rapidly, as she began her first wave of emotion. He looked so hot, she noticed as she grabbed onto him, forcing him to dig deeper into her. She could go forever with him, she realized.

Off in her own little world, CD DeLorenzo didn’t know if it was the drugs or the fact that she was picturing someone else on top of her, but she was having the best sex of her life, and she never wanted to stop. That is, she never wanted to stop unless Nate Basso were to waltz through the door and rescue her to his place.

The next day, Jim had business with his boys down at the playhouse, so CD told him she was going grocery shopping. He kissed her cheek as he drove off without her, and she quickly called a cab.

The cab took her to an abandoned warehouse, where Kate, Jinny, and Magda were waiting for her.

CD hustled in, making sure no one was watching her, and saw the 3 other women sitting at a card table.

Jinny laughed at her first sight of CD. “Hey, CD, did you get those clothes from my closet?!”

CD rolled her eyes when she looked down at her sleazy black lace top, a black mini, and black open-toed heels. “Yeah, I guess.”

Kate walked over to her and gave her a hug. “How are ya, Inspec……..holy hell, what’s that smell?!”

Magda and Jinny ran to CD’s side and sniffed.

“Is that what I think it is?!” Magda asked.

“If you’re thinking it’s pot, then yeah, it is,” CD mumbled.

“Oh my gosh, CD, you’re so damn lucky!! Great clothes, good smoking, AND you’re getting paid for it?!”

CD laughed. “Yeah, and I also get to have sex with the nastiest man in the world, bond with other drug dealers, and get blisters all over my feet!”

“So?” Jinny responded. “About that sex part-- just picture him as another guy!”

CD couldn’t help but grin, thinking about Nate. “Yeah, that works sometimes.”

Kate stopped the chatter. “Anyway, CD, are you alright?”

CD nodded. “Yeah, it’s not that bad.”

“Learn any new information?”

“Well, the big buy isn’t until the beginning of next month, they go to this place called “the playhouse,” and that’s like their headquarters. I haven’t been in yet, so don’t bust it until we actually know there’s drugs in it.”

“Okay, sounds like pretty good work so far.”

“Any suspicious people we need to check into?” Magda asked as she wrote a couple of notes down.

CD thought for a second. “Um, well, I had to sit outside the playhouse while they dealt last time, and their gopher sat out there with me. He was a lot like me, I think. He didn’t belong there at all.”

“Catch his name?” Jinny asked.

“Yeah, it was Nate Basso,” CD answered.

“Okay, I’ll run it,” Jinny answered.

CD looked at her watch. “I really need to get to the store, so I can get home before he gets back. Don’t want to blow my cover.”

Kate nodded. “Alright, so unless you get in contact with us……..”

“I’ll see ya here same time next week,” CD finished.

The four embraced quickly, CD walked out the back door, and headed to the store.

Two weeks went by, and CD had been spending an abundant amount of time with Nate. He was her baby-sitter while the big guns did their thing. CD counted down the seconds until she got to see this nice drug dealer. She couldn’t believe what she was feeling for this guy. Jinny’s run on him had proved that he had a stint of working at Vice, before being fired because he was caught on the job with dope. He’d spent 6 months in jail on other drug charges, before he ganged up with Jimmy, according to Nate. He said that he loved Vice, but he found the big money in what he was doing now.

CD was sitting in his car, waiting for Jimmy to get done inside. It was raining, and they didn’t trust her enough yet to let her in.

“Candy, you look really nice tonight,” Nate commented as he looked her up and down.

CD blushed. It was too cold out tonight for her to wear her usual, so she was in a pink short sleeved lace up shirt, so everyone could see what Jimmy was getting back home, a mini jean skirt and pink flip flops on. “Thanks,” she replied. “I got tired of the hooker look for the night.”

He laughed as he put his hand on her knee. “You’re so great, Candy. I mean that, too. I really want to kiss you,” he announced as his hand went farther up her leg.

CD couldn’t believe what was happening, and as much as she hated to, she knew she had to stop it. “Nate, no. What if they see us? Then both us will be history.”

“So? You don’t need him, Candy.”

“Yes, I do, Nate. At least, I do for the time being.”

Nate resisted kissing her but kept his hand on her leg. He changed the subject. “Is Jimmy going on the buying trip tomorrow?”

CD nodded. “Yeah, he won’t tell me where they’re going. He said he’ll be gone for two days.” She reflected back to what Kate had said-- “Wait until the big deal goes down in two weeks before we bust them.”

Jimmy and the others starting filing out of the playhouse. Nate’s hand immediately left CD’s knee as he pulled something out of his coat pocket. “Here,” he whispered as Jimmy got closer. “Put it in your purse.”

CD did so before Jimmy could see. “Okay, what was it?”

Nate grinned as he began to open the door. “The number and address to my apartment. I don’t get to go tomorrow either. Call it or come visit if you know what’s good for ya.”

CD looked at him with a sly grin and a confused look. “I can’t do that!”

Nate laughed as he opened his door completely. “You just might!”

CD watched after him as her and Jimmy left the playhouse, and she was more confused than ever.

Jimmy wrapped his arms around her middle and kissed her once more. “Bye Candy, I’ll miss you,” he told her as he walked her to his car.

“I’ll miss you, too,” she answered.

He got into his car and drove away. CD walked back into his place and took a seat on the couch, right beside her purse. She dug out the number and stared at it for what seemed like hours.

She sighed, putting it back into her purse, and then she walked out the door.

“Yeah, well, I was bored all alone, so I came early.”

Kate smiled. “So are you saying you didn’t miss me?!”

CD laughed. “No, no, Cap, I missed ya!”

Jinny laughed. “But WHY? I mean, she’s an alright Cap, but I don’t see how anyone could ever…..”

“Inspector?” Kate raised her eyebrow at her.

“Eh, never mind?”

CD laughed. “Okay, well, Jimmy left this morning for the bust, he’ll be back in two days, and that’s it. As long as the buy goes well, we’ll be in business in less than two weeks.”

“Good, I can’t wait!” Jinny exclaimed.

“YOU can’t wait?! I’m going crazy in this detail!” CD exclaimed.

“At least you mastered those shoes,” Kate commented as they all gazed at the clear heels CD was sporting.

CD shrugged. “Yeah, it’s manageable now.”

Kate sighed. “Okay, so what’s next?”

CD smirked. “Well, I think I’m going to check out a partner of Jimmy’s. A guy that didn’t go on the buy with them.”

Kate nodded. “Alright, well, call us if you need anything, day or night.”

CD nodded. “Take care,” she replied as she hugged both of them good bye.

He answered on the second knock. He opened the door without looking through the peephole. He had a towel in his hands, his hair was dripping wet, and he’d just thrown on a pair of boxers. His eyes grew wide with surprise as he stared back at her. “Candy!” he exclaimed. “I’m so glad you came!” He noticed her simple dress of a low cut black shirt, jeans and the heels. “You look great! Come on in!”

She smiled as he held the door open for her. “Thanks,” she replied and walked by him. “I hope I’m not interrupting anything.”

“Not at all! Actually, I wish you would’ve came here about fifteen minutes ago; then you could have assisted me in my showering!”

She rolled her eyes. “Are you going to put clothes on, or am I going to have to leave?”

He smiled. “Fine, I’ll be right back.” He sat her down on his couch and left the room for some clothing.

CD sighed, secretly wishing he would have refused to put anything else on. Calm, she told herself. You have to be calm. You’re supposed to be in love with someone. What the hell was his name again?? Jonny?? Jessie? She rolled her eyes in frustration with herself. Jimmy, you moron.

Nate walked back out with a polo shirt and jeans on. “Okay, so where were we?”

She smiled. “I was wondering what I’m doing here.”

He sat down right beside her. “I could tell you a great reason as to why you’re here.”

She frowned. “Nate….Nate, I’m sorry, I think I’ve made a mistake. I shouldn’t have come,” she replied as she stood up.

“Candy, wait,” he responded as he joined her, grabbing her arm. “Don’t go.”

She shook her head. “I shouldn’t have accepted your number. I’m involved with someone!”

He slid his arm around her. “Candy, you don’t need him,” he replied. “I need you.” He grabbed her mouth with his, coaxing her back down to the couch.

“Naaaaate, I should be going……” she muttered as she kissed him back, full of every emotion she'd been holding back for him all this time.

“Going, huh?” he smiled as he pulled back. “Going where? Out or to my bedroom?”

She stood up. “Lead me to it,” she purred in a hurry.

He picked her up and carried her to his bed. He sat her down on the edge of the bed, while he drew the blinds and turned down the bed. He then picked her back up and gently lied her down. Kissing her softly on the lips while smoothing her hair back, he reached under her shirt and touched everything that he’d been wanting to obtain since day one.

CD relaxed with his hands around her, and she could be herself under him. She kissed the top of his head while grabbing at him, desperately trying to find his lips again.

He grinned when he found her mouth again and quickly removed her jeans and shoes.

Nate’s clothes flew off faster under CD’s command and fury. She moaned once she was finished and held him tightly against her.

Nate’s duties came quickly, too, and he sighed as he saw her. “Candy, you are so amazingly beautiful,” he commented. “Absolutely gorgeous.”

CD blushed underneath him. “You’re not too bad yourself,” she murmured as she kissed him with everything she’d been saving for him. “Now make love to me,” she commanded.

He sighed excitedly. “It would be my pleasure,” he replied as he entered her painlessly.

Laying naked in his arms, CD could not believe she’d done it. And twice, at that. He was so amazing, she thought to herself. But it was very likely going to ruin her status of being undercover if Jimmy found out that she’d been screwing around. She snuggled closer to him, trying to decide what in the hell she was going to do.


Nate looked over at her. She was completely out for the night. He brought the blankets up and around her as he kissed her cheek and brought her close to him. “I think I’m in love with you,” he whispered to the slightly snoring blond beside him. “I KNOW I am.”

hello! okay, so i wrote a LITTLE more and decided to post! enjoy, even if it's uneventful!!! ;):D

“This was a huge mistake, Nate,” CD announced the next day as she stumbled around trying to locate her clothing from the night before

Nate grinned. “What are you talking about, Candy? That was the best sex either one of us have ever had.”

CD thought back to her other lovers, and she hated to admit that he was correct. “Nate, I’m involved with Jimmy. I’m LIVING with him.” she paused to put her shirt over her head. “This was so terribly wrong.”

As CD finished getting dressed, Nate grabbed her hand. “Candy, what we had last night was very special. I felt something there, and I know you did, too.”

“You’re NOT listening!” CD exasperated. “I have to go,” she mumbled as she walked towards the door. “Please, PLEASE, don’t tell Jimmy about this. It will hurt me so much-- physically, too, Nate.”

Nate nodded. “Not a word to Jimmy. I promise.”

“BABY!” Jimmy exclaimed when he rushed through the door of his apartment.

“Jimmy!” CD shouted as she dashed into his arms. “I missed you so much!”

He kissed her. “I missed you so much, too, beautiful.”

“But you had a good time?”

He nodded. “We got a lot accomplished, babe. So much, that the deal is TONIGHT. We’re not holding off; we got our guys to make it tonight. Isn’t that GREAT?!”

CD stepped back in shock. “That’s wonderful, honey!” she replied as she made as many mental notes as she possibly could. “What time is it?”

“Seven,” he answered.

She nodded. “Honey, I’m so sorry, and I know you just got home, but I really need to go to the store.”

“The STORE?! Candy, I haven’t been with you in forever, and you want to go to the STORE?!”

She grinned and kissed him. “Jimmy, it’s been 2 days, and I have to get stuff for our dinner! I promise, tonight after your big deal, I’ll prove to you that I missed you like crazy.”

He smiled sheepishly. “Sounds great, baby. Hurry home?”

She nodded. “I’ll hurry.”

CD walked out the door and into the car. She made sure no one was around her before pulling out her cell and dialing. “Yes, Kate McCafferty please.”

CD held his hand as she entered the playhouse for the first time that night. They’d be moving in soon, she decided by the time on her watch.

Jimmy kissed her cheek. “This is it, darlin,” he whispered. “This is what we’ve been waiting for.”

She grinned and nodded. She saw Nate was already there and gave him a little wave.

He smiled broadly and waved back.

“So you got it?” one of the guys with the goods asked Jimmy.

He nodded. “Yeah, I got it. You?”

“Course we do,” he muttered as he opened the bag. “You gonna try it or what?”

Jimmy shook his head no. “I trust ya.” He handed them a briefcase. “It’s all there. You want to count it?”

As they opened the case, CD decided it as good a time as ever. She released her hand from Jimmy’s and drew her gun. “FREEZE, SFPD!!”

Door opened and windows were broken as other members of the SFPD emerged from the outer parts of the playhouse.

Jimmy looked at CD in shock. “What the hell is this?!” he screamed as he tried to hit her.

She hit him in the head with the butt of her gun. “Excuse me, I believe I told you to freeze, did I not?”

Nate looked on with eyes as big as his head. Handcuffs were shoved on him. “You…..you…..you’re a COP?!” he spat as he was drug by her.

“Nate, I………”

He shook his head. “I always knew you were a different bitch than the rest of them,” he muttered as him and Jimmy were escorted out side by side.

“She WAS different,” Jimmy agreed. “She was terrible in bed.”

“I’ll have to disagree on that…..” Nate thought aloud.

“Excuse me?!” Jimmy exclaimed.

Nate shrugged. “She’s hot, man, what did you expect?”

Jimmy rolled his eyes. “Should’ve guessed it anyway. She was a sucky prostitute.”

Nate nodded. “Got that right.”

Nate, Jimmy and the others were arrested and put in squad cars as Jinny talked to CD.

“How are ya? Are you alright?”

CD nodded and smiled. “Great, thanks,” she sighed as she watched Nate’s car being driven away.

“CD?” Jinny punched her arm. “CD, you’re not listening to me!”

CD snapped back into reality. “I’m sorry, what?”

Jin smiled. “What’s on your mind, Inspector?”

“Just between you and me?”

“Of course! That’s what more exciting for me anyway! I get to rub it in to Mag and the Cap that I know something that they don’t!”

CD laughed. “Jin, have you ever fallen for a criminal?”

Jin’s face contorted. “EW, CD!! You fell for JIMMY?!” she hissed.

CD frowned. “Gosh, NO, Jin!! That’s just sick!”

“Phew!” Jin laughed. “I was getting frightened of you for a second!”

“No, no,” she laughed. “I think I fell for someone else.”

“The hot one, right? Said you were good in bed?”

CD blushed. “How’d you know?”

“It was written all over your face. I was hoping it was your cover up, but no?”

She shook her head. “Nope.”

“So the sleeping together thing?”

“Really happened, Jin,” she admitted sheepishly. “And I wouldn’t take it back for anything.”

“Who would?! He’s hot, CD! Go for him!”

“He’s going to JAIL, Jin!!”

Jin shrugged. “So? You’re a cop, I’m sure they’d let you see him more than just the regular visiting hours.”

Two months had passed, and CD was absentmindedly staring out in space while sitting at her desk.

“CD, do you have that report for me yet?” Kate asked as she came face to face with her. “CD? CD!!”

CD looked up. “Oh, Cap, I’m sorry, did you need something?”

Kate rolled her eyes. “CD, what the hell’s your problem? You’ve been so out of it lately!”

“Nothing, Cap,” CD sighed. “I was just thinking…..that’s all.”

“Daydreaming is more like it,” Kate muttered as she left CD’s desk. Jin was walking by, and Kate grabbed a hold of her shoulders and got right in her face.

“HEY!” Jinny exclaimed. “What are you doing? Smelling my breath? I TOLD you I’ve STOPPED drinking!”

“Not that!” Kate proclaimed. “Talk to CD. Get her head out of her ass for me, NOW.”

Jin looked over at CD, who was smiling broadly, thinking about whatever had her mind so wound up. Jin laughed. “I’m gonna need a very big pick axe and a loud dog to cover up the screams.”

“Jinny, this is SERIOUS!” Kate shouted as she walked to her office and slammed the door.

Jin shrugged as she walked to CD’s side. “What? I WAS serious.”

“Huh?” CD looked up in confusion.

“What’s going on over here, CD?”

CD rolled her eyes. “Nothing, I was just working on some reports.”

Jin laughed as she looked at CD’s neat desk with no files on it. “Looks like it.”

CD shrugged. “And I was just thinking……”

“About what?” Jinny grinned. “I’m sorry, about WHO?”

CD blushed. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“Ha!” Jinny laughed. “CD, you’re starting to scare me! You’ve become obsessive thinking about him! I was one word for you-- PRISON!!”

CD rolled her eyes. “You don’t know that he’s still there. He could’ve made a deal.”

“Okay, so your lover boy turned in his best buddy, King Drug Dealer, and now he’s out and you can start your life together?! CD, what did you smoke when you were with Jimmy?!”

CD went through the motions at work for the rest of the day. At exactly 5, she’d picked up her coat and was heading out. She made it to the door of the Division when she suddenly realized that she’d stupidly forgotten her purse. She took a sharp 180 degree turn and almost knocked over the man who was trying to walk by her.

“Oh my gosh, I am SO sor……” she paused when saw his face.

He looked at the woman who’d almost made him fall. “Umm, no problem.”

“What are YOU doing here?!?!” Both of them asked simultaneously.

CD laughed. “I, uh, work here. I see you’re out of prison?”

“Candy, I never went to prison!” Nate exclaimed. “I was undercover, too. You just beat me to the bust!”

Her face was full of shock and approval. “You……you weren’t a drug dealer, too??”

He laughed. “No! Didn’t you realize that I NEVER got to do anything?”

She smiled. “I just thought you were really bad at it!”

He laughed and shrugged.

“So what are YOU here for? Pick up some paperwork or something for your Division?”

He shook his head. “I’m actually starting here. Tomorrow’s my first day at this Division. I just dropped by to see if my partner was still around. Maybe you know him?”

CD couldn’t believe her luck. The man that she’d fallen in love with was now working at the same place as her! “That’s great, Nate! What’s his name?”

“His first name’s CD. Ring a bell?”

Her heart stopped for what seemed like an eternity. “W…who did you say?”

“All I know is his first name’s CD.”

She grinned and outreached her hand. “Hello, my name is Candace DeLorenzo. Most people call me CD, although I have been known as Candy before. You are?” she asked cutely.

His face turned to shock as he shook her hand. “In heaven,” he replied as he realized how incomplete his life had been without this woman. “So I can’t call you Candy?” he teased her.

She giggled. “Not here.” she paused to stand a little closer to him. “But after hours you can call me whatever pleases ya.”

He smiled broadly. “Where are you off to now?”

“Anywhere you’re going. I’ve missed you so much.”

He shook his head. “I’ve missed you, too. Like you wouldn’t believe.” He looked around, noticing everyone was busy at work. “I’d really like to kiss you now.”

CD blushed but looked around. “No one’s looking-- I give you permission.”

He smiled and kissed her briefly on the lips.

“I missed you,” CD repeated as she kissed him again. “I was on my way home-- are you coming or what?”

He smirked. “I’m there, Candy. Take me there.”

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW, that was SO GREAT!!!!!!!!!! :rock: I KNEW it!!!!!!! I LOVE this fic!!!!!!!! I hope that wasn't the end? :confused:
