It's tempting to think about what might have happened if something had gone one way instead of the other. What if Reagan had remained a sportscaster instead of becoming an actor, then going on to the governorship of California and the Presidency? Here's what I think weould have happened. He would have moved to Chicago and worked for WGN radio, than a local TV station, then in the sixties, he would have been hired by ABC, eventually doing a show with. . . Howard Cosell.

Think about it. "The Cosell-Reagan Report." Ronald Reagan as the affable good guy who's every sports fan's best friend, playing off Howard Cosell, the man you love to hate, who tells it like it is. That would have been an even better show than "Wide World of Sports!" :lol:

Oh yeah, and Bob Dole would have been elected President in 1980. :)
