Ever since the release of the NES and Super Mario Brothers in 1985, the famous plumber in red by the name of Mario has been arguably the biggest and most popular franchise in the history of Nintendo. He's probably #1 to every person who has played Nintendo. But there have been other franchises from the big video game giant but have stuck around for years and produced very good quality games for years.
