I can't watch TV without any lights on because it's easy to fall asleep with just the light of the TV. Unless it's after 12midnight, I can't do it.

View Full Version : Can you watch TV in the evening without a lamp? Just the light of the TV? TVFactFan 06-14-2004, 05:23 PM I can't watch TV without any lights on because it's easy to fall asleep with just the light of the TV. Unless it's after 12midnight, I can't do it. Kazza 06-14-2004, 05:28 PM My tv set is in the living room and there are no lamps there. So, I have no choice of watching tv in the dark but I don't mind:lol: ¤I Love Clay Aiken¤ 06-14-2004, 05:34 PM Depends. Sometimes all the lights have to be off, but then there are times I literally have every single light on in that room and the surrounding rooms. Sargent Stewie 06-14-2004, 05:38 PM I sleep with the TV on and I need to see is the TV and the remote. *MIBabe03* 06-14-2004, 05:39 PM I always watch tv without the lights on. EmoJoe 06-14-2004, 05:56 PM I watch TV either way. My dad loves watching TV in the dark. Mijada 06-14-2004, 06:17 PM I hardly ever turn the lamps on while watching TV unless I'm looking through a magazine or something while listening to the TV. Besides I have a bunch of skylights so my livingroom never really gets that dark anyway. If I'm in bed I don't need the lights on. PZelda 06-14-2004, 07:01 PM Depends. If I'm eating and I'm watching a DVD in my room, I turn on my three-way lamp to the lowest setting so that I can see how much food I have on my plate and so I can reach for the remote if I miss something. If I'm just watching TV, I don't need the light on. If I watch TV out here in the living room, I don't need any lights on (and we practically have skylights anyway, we have windows really high up on the wall, so that's not much of an option). If I watch TV out here at night, that depends. :D Kazza 06-14-2004, 07:21 PM Originally posted by Miss Vicki Depends. It doesnt look as good to me with lights on... During the day of course I dont have them on either....... Coffeecup 10-13-2025, 10:15 AM I do have a small light on while I watch tv. If I get up to get something to eat, I don't want to tumble. Also the small light is easier on my eyes than just the tv screen for light. |
