BTW: I'm VERY disappointed with The Weather Channel. They ran :cuss: Storm Stories while a tornado was on the ground in Indianapolis this evening, and they are running it NOW! I remember the good old days when they were a true weather channel 24/7. Sadly, those days are gone. :(

The tornado passed us. On our weather warnings it had us under a tornado warning. And it's raining REALLY hard, and rain is starting to come in our garage and crap. And there's lighting and thunder...and cars outside driving around telling everyone to stay in their homes.

I tracked Isabel from the time it was a Tropical Depression, to when it totally dissipated over Ontario. I ended up getting some rain from it actually. Which was cool. When it made landfall the clouds extended all the way to Michigan, and made the sky a really weird color at sunset, almost a mustard color.

We never had to name Presidents, but we did have to do the capitals. I knew them before we did it in school. I literally have about 10 road atlases, about 6 of the U.S.(broken down by state)1 Street-Level map(all the roads) of Alabama and Georgia. A couple of World Atlases and a bunch of city maps. I'm obsessed. :lol:

The most useful vacation souvenir that my family has ever bought was a placemat with all the states and their capitals in 1993. We got it in Missouri and by the time I got to Chicago, I had all the states and their capitals memorized completely.

That's not all. I also had (and have) the ability to memorize all the comic strips and their authors in my local newspaper and immeidately say who they are when I was asked who wrote a particular strip.
