Umm.... what happens to a car when you accidentally put about a half-pint of oil in the thing where the transmission fluid goes??! :confused: :blush: :eek: :help c5guy 05-23-2004, 01:32 PM It gets taken to the shop :crazy: You might call first and see if driving it will screw up the tranny....you might need a tow. This is one of those things that could be nothing or could be disasterous....I don't know, I'm not a mechanic, but I would imagine you probably need to drain the transmission fluid & have it replaced. Krista2882 05-23-2004, 02:30 PM hehe thanks, c5guy. :D After I posted this, my brother had actually talked to one of his friends who knows stuff about cars, and i guess it's not really harmful to the car at first, but the transmission fluid should be drained and replaced because it shouldn't be driven that way for a long period of time... Hey, my brother was the one who told me to put the oil in the wrong place. hahaha!
