in which episode did this quote come from:
Ross yelling "PIVOT!!!!" over and over when they were trying to move a couch up a flight of stairs and Chandler going "SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP". I can only remember this scene and nothing else about the episode.

That was in episode #113 (Season 5), The One With The Cop. The rest of the episode has to do with Phoebe finding a badge belonging to a police officer named Gary (played by Michael Rapaport) whom she later dates for a few episodes.
That scene with the couch is one of my favorite Friends moments. :D

I still crack up at the 'Pivot' scene everytime I see it. Then after the couch gets stuck, Chandler asks "What did you mean by 'pivot'?":lol:
They should've gotten Monica to help. Remember she is freakishly strong!!

oh thats one of my Favorite eps to the whole "pivot Pivot pivot" and Chandlers "shut up,Shut up SHUT UP" thing Cracks me up every time
