Hi all. I will be posting on my fics again and I started another one. This fic is based on a true story of someone very close to me. I hope you enjoy it.

It is the year 1978 and Jinny Exstead was part of an college program. She was best friends with Magda Ramirez who was also involved in that program as well as Candace DeLorenzo. It was to help high schoolers get into college. Jinny had met a friend there about 3 months ago. His name was Jack. They had been talking a lot while they were there. Jinny and Jack did not live near each other so the only time they talked was at the program which met once a month. They were getting a long nicely and had gotten to be best friends. Jinny would talk to Magda and CD all the time about him. They was very happy for Jinny. All three of them would spend the time at the program together talking and talking. He liked Jinny a lot. Jinny liked him too. But not the way he liked her. One day, they were in a class. The teacher got a little annoyed by all the trouble the other students were giving her and she told the kids to take a break. All the kids left the room. CD, Magda, Jinny, and Jack left to go get a drink.

Magda- Hey guys I will meet you down the the soda machine. I have to use the bathroom.
CD- Yeah me too. We will see you down there.
Jinny- Ok. Let's go.

On the way down there, Jack stopped. Jinny was a little confused as to why he did.

Jack- Come over here.

Jinny did. He walked her over to a dark corner. He then kissed her. They had given little pecks on the lips before so she didn't think it was a big deal.

Jack- You are a very pretty girl.

Jinny just smiled. Jack then started kissing and sucking her neck. That had never happened to her before and she wasnt expected it. He then touched her chest. Jinny just froze. She did not say a word. She couldn't believe what was going on. He lifted her shirt. Jinny pulled it back down.

Jinny- What are you doing?
Jack- Am I going to fast?
Jinny- Yes!

Jack touched her back. Then he heard voices coming. It was Magda and CD. Jack stopped and they got out of the corner.

Magda- Hey. Aren't you guys supposed to be down at the soda machine?
Jack- There was a line so we came back up here. Why don't we just go back to class? We dont have enough time to go down there now anyway.
CD- Ok. You ok Jin?
Jinny- Yeah. Fine.

They were walking back to class. Jack acted like nothing was wrong. Jinny, however, was ready to cry her eyes out. She felt so ashamed. How could he let him do that to her? They went back to class and she tried to forget nothing happened. Unfortunately, she just couldn't hold back the tears anymore. Tears came streaming down her face. She covered her face so no one would see. A teacher's aide knew exacrly what was going on and took Jinny outside of the classroom.

Teacher- I saw you were crying. What's wrong?
Jinny- Oh nothing. I just sometimes cry for no reason. It's ok nothing is wrong.
Teacher- I am a very emotional person myself. No one saw you crying. I know something is wrong. Please tell me.

Tears were still coming down her face. She figured the teacher basically already knew so she should tell her.

Jinny- Well..a boy..touched me.
Teacher- Touched you how?
Jinny- *Explained everything*
Teacher- Ok what was the name of the boy who did this?
Jinny- I can't say.
Teacher- He didn't threaten you or anything did he?
Jinny- No.
Teacher- Then why aren't you telling me who it is?
Jinny- Because I don't want him in trouble.
Teacher- If he did something wrong, then he needs to be in trouble.
Jinny- He was the only one really talking to me when I came here. I have no real other friends.
Teacher- If you don't want to tell me that's ok. Just remember that if he gets away with it, he might do something worse next time.
Jinny- I know. I just don't want to cause any problems.
Teacher- The only person who is causing problems is this boy.

Jinny started crying again. She just couldn't hold it in anymore.

Jinny- It..was..Jack.

Jinny went into the ladies room. She wet a piece of paper towel and just stared into the mirror. About 10 minutes later, she came out. Jinny and the teacher's aide went back into the classroom. Everyone looked at them coming in. Jinny still looked a little red so CD and Magda knew something was wrong. Jinny hadn't realized that she was sitting next to Jack. She felt uncomfortable but she sat down. Jack looked at her. Still pretending like nothing happened, he quitely started to talk to her.

Jack- *Whispers* Are you ok?
Jinny- Yeah I'm fine.

Jinny walked over to the teacher's desk and everyone else left for lunch except Magda. Magda decided to wait for Jinny outside.

Ms Durkins- I heard about what happened. I know you don't want anyone to report it but I will be sitting near you at lunch. You give me any little signal if he does ANYTHING to you.
Jinny- Ok.
Ms Durkins- He is also not to be left alone with you. This is for your own safety. We are responsible for you here as long as you have one foot on this campus.
Jinny- Thank you.
Ms Durkins- You're welcome. Now get going. It's lunch time.
Jinny- What are we having?
Ms Durkins- Pizza and coke.
Jinny- Yum..

When Jinny came outside, she saw Magda standing there.

Jinny- What are you doing here Mag?
Magda- Waiting for my best friend..and to find out what's wrong.
Jinny- What do you mean?
Magda- Well let's see...you had your hand over your face after we came back to the classroom. Then the teacher escorted you out of the classroom. When you came back a half hour later, you were beat red. Nothing is wrong? I don't think so. Now what happened??

Magda shook her head but followed Jinny to the cafeteria. When they got there, Jack and CD were sitting down waiting for them to get there. They walked over to the table.

Jack- Hey. I got your pizza and coke for you..just the way you like it.
Jinny- Uhh..thanks.
Jack- So why did you have to leave the classroom and everything? It was a little strange.
Jinny- Nothing. I wasn't feeling well but I am fine now.

Magda and CD both knew she was lying but there was nothing they could do about it because obviously Jinny wasn't telling them. For some reason, they had a feeling it was something about Jack because whenever he would get close to her, she pulled away. They weren't going to but in though. If she needed help or advice, she would ask for it. After lunch, they started to head back to the classroom. All four of them walked together. The classroom was on the third floor. When they got into the building, Jaack stopped.

Jack- Why don't you two go ahead and we will catch up.

Jinny got red and nervous but seeing how CD and Magda had no idea what was going on, they just nodded and left. Jack and Jinny were standing in the hallway alone.

Jack- Jinny, what's wrong?
Jinny- N-Nothing why?
Jack- Because you seem like something is very wrong. Is this about before?

Jinny didn't want to start a fight or anything so she lied.

Jinny- No. I told you I just wasn't feeling well.
Jack- Are you sure? Because I wanted to apologize for before. I wasn't thinking.
Jinny- I am just sick. That's all.
Jack- Maybe you should leave early.
Jinny- My father isn't home.
Jack- We can call my Dad and he could take you home. I could get out early too then. *Grins*
Jinny- No that's ok. There is only two hours left anyway.
Jack- Ok. Boy everyone is taking the stairs. It might make you feel worse. Do you want to take the elevator up with me.
Jinny- I--uh--

Just then, someone came up behind them.

Ms Durkins- The elevator isn't working. Just take the stairs. It is easier anyway.

All of a sudden, someone came in from the hallway. The teacher went right to him and then motioned for me to come out in the hallway. I went out there and Jack looked at me like 'What's going on?' and I just shrugged. We went out and there was a man standing there in a black suit.

Ms Durkins- Jinny, this is the head of the program.
Greg- Just call me Greg.
Jinny- Hi Greg. What is this all about?
Greg- Well Ms Durkins told me about the trouble that you're having today. We need you to come down to the University Decurity office.
Jinny- What for?
Greg- To make a statement about what happened. Did you bring any personal items with you?
Jinny- Yeah. My purse.
Greg- Ok well you should go get it. I am not sure when we will be done.
Jinny- It doesn't take that long to make a statement.
Greg- Well it might take a little longer to clear it all up.

Jinny was confused but just did what she was told to do and left. They walked for 5 minutes down the street to the Security office. On the way there, Jinny started a conversation.

Jinny- So..why do I have to make a statement?
Greg- Because of what happened to you. Since it happened on a college campus, we need to take action.
Jinny- But I didn't want to make one. I didn't want anything to happen.
Greg- I understand that but something needs to be done. You can refuse to make a statement but that means he will keep doing it and keep embarassing you.
Jinny- Ahh the guilt trip huh?
Greg- If it helps--*laugh*
Jinny- Ok I'll make a statement. But he had better not get into trouble.
Greg- No he probably won't.
Jinny- Ok good.
When she got there, there were security officers all over. She had never seen so many. they escorted into a room and she sat there waiting for an officer to come in.

After telling all the officers what happened, she waiting impatiently to leave. The program was over for the day and Magda met CD and Jack outside.
Magda- Does anyone know where Jinny went?
CD- I haven't seen her since she left the room before class started.
Jack- Maybe she is down there waiting for us.
CD- Let's go check.
They walked out of the building and down to where parked cars were waiting to pick up the students. They saw Jinny's Dad sitting in his car. He looked a little worried since he saw Jack, CD, and Magda coming towards them but didn't see Jinny. He got out of the car and went up to them.
John Sr.- Hey guys. Where's Jinny?
CD- We were coming to see if she was with you.
John Sr.- No she isn't with me.
Magda- She was escorted out of the room about 2 hours ago and never came back.
John Sr.- By who?
Jack- A . I don't know what his name was.
Just then a man in a police uniform walked up to them.
Officer- Excuse me, are you John Exstead?
John Sr.- Who wants to know?
Officer- Well we have Jinny Exstead with us and--
John Sr.- What? Why??
Officer- I take it you are John Exstead then?
John Sr.- Yes now TELL ME WHAT YOU ARE DOING WITH MY DAUGHTER!!!

John Sr.- Of course it's ok. Now take me to my daughter.
Officer- Ok.

They were all taken to the security office. One officer escorted Jack the other way.

Jack- Wait where am I going?
Officer- To be questioned.
Jack- About what? I didn't do anything.
Officer- OOH wanna bet?? Get your ass in there!

Jack just gave up and went in. CD and Magda looked at each other. They were so confused. So was John.

Officer- Come this way.

John Sr., Magda, and CD followed the officer down to the room Jinny was in.

Officer- You girls can wait out here.
John Sr.- No. They are Jinny's friends and I think she would like them with her.
Officer- If you say so.

They all went in. Jinny was sitting at a big table along with a woman and a young female officer.

Magda- Jinny! We were looking all over for you.
John Sr.- Jinnygirl, what's going on?
Jinny- Dad it's nothing really.
Dorothy- Mr. Exstead, I am Dorothy. I am from Women's Resource Center. I came today to talk with Jinny.
John Sr.- Did Jinny do something? Would someone please tell me what's going on!?
Stacey- My name is Stacey. I took Jinny's statement. Mr. Exstead, your daughter was sexually assaulted.

Magda and CD just stared at each other. They had no idea. John Sr. looked at Jinny. Jinny nodded.

John Sr.- Oh Jinnygirl. Are you alright?
Jinny- Yeah I'm fine.
John Sr.- I want his ass! Who is he?
Stacey- He is a boy in the program. He is in the next room being questioned.

Jinny- I will tell you later. Can you just sign anything you have to so we can go home?
CD- The ADA is coming in remember?
Jinny- Oh yeah.

After the whole thing was over, Jinny was given the option whether or not to press charges. She had to think it over. John Sr. took CD and Magda home. CD and Magda would go over her house later and talk to her but for now, her Dad would try and get whatever he could out of her about what happened.

John Sr.- Alright we're alone. What happened?
Jinny- It's no big deal. He was touching me and he got in trouble. It's all over.
John Sr.- Well he was suspended and you will never have to see him again.
Jinny- Uh Dad, one problem with that.
John Sr.- And that is..
Jinny- He goes to school with me.
John Sr.- If he so much as talks to you, I will handle it.
Jinny- *Laughs*
John Sr.- There's one thing I don't understand though. Why on earth would you follow him to that corner though?? Even though he did the majority of it, you are partly to blame.
Jinny- Oh so you're saying this is MY fault!?
John Sr.- No I didn't say that but why did you go with him?
Jinny- You know what, just forget it. You're a guy. You don't understand. You are just siding with him.
John Sr.- Jinny! Calm down! I am not siding with him. I'm sorry. Let's just forget about this ok?
Jinny- Ok Dad.
John Sr.- But you do have to think about pressing charges.

They hug then the phone rings.

John Sr.- No doubt that's CD or Magda.
Jinny- *Smiles* Probably.

She went to go answer the phone.

Jinny- Hello..
CD- Hi it's CD.
Jinny- I had a feeling. What's up CD?
CD- You know very well what's up? By now you and your Dad should have talked so you are free to meet me and Magda at the burger joint down the street so you can tell us what happened.
Jinny- What are you spying through the window or something?? *They both laugh*
CD- No I'm just goood. See you there.
Jinny- Bye. *Hangs up*

She hugged and kissed her dad goodbye and left to meet CD and Magda. When she got there, Magda and CD were sitting at a booth waiting.

Jinny- Hi guys.

CD and Magda didn't say a word. Just stared at her.

Jinny- How are yas?

CD and Magda continued to stare.

Jinny- What the hell is the matter with you two??

Continued to stare..

Jinny- Ok what do you want to know?!
CD- Well we were kinda wondering what happened with Jack today!
Jinny- Guys it's no big deal. He did something he shouldn't have. I paniced. And then somehow, the security people got involved. I'm ok. Jack's getting punished. It's no big deal.
Magda- Well you should have told me. I could have done something.
CD- Why the hell didn't you kick him in the balls!?
Jinny- *laughs* Thank guys.

So CD, Magda and Jinny had a nice snack and went home. The next few days were quiet. Jack didn't even come to school for those few days but he eventually did come back.

CD- Did you see who is back today?
Jinny- No who?
CD- Jack duh!
Magda- Great..what are you going to do?
Jinny- Just ignore him. No one knows what happened and no one will.
CD- If you say so..

The morning went back quickly and before they knew it, it was lunchtime. CD, Magda, and Jinny sat with some of their other friends. One girl came up to their table.

Raina- Oh my God Jinny is it true??
Jinny- Is what true?
Raina- Did Jack get you to do it in the boys bathroom?
Jinny- What? NO! Where did you hear that??
Raina- From Suzie.

Jinny sat on the floor and started to cry. Then she heard the door open. She sat up and wiped her tears away. It was Magda and CD.

CD- We came in here when we heard something was written in the bathroom.
Jinny- Guys, what am I gonna do? This is a disaster. I KNEW I shouldn't have said anything in the first place. I knew it.
Magda- Stop it Jin. This will all blow over. In a few days, they'll be talking about Sally's pink hair.
Jinny- *Laughs* You think so.
CD- We know so.
Jinny- Thanks guys. You're the best friends a girl can have.

The rest of the day went by. Of course there were a bunch of rumors going around but Jinny tried her best to ignore them. When she got home, she walked into the kitchen to find John Jr. with blood coming down his face.

Jinny- John, what happened?
John Sr.- Jinny girl, we'll talk about it later. John why don't you go upstairs and use the bathroom to wash your face.
John Jr.- Ok.

So John Jr. just smirked and went up to the bathroom the clean his nose. John Sr. went up to Jinny's room and tried to open the door but it was locked. He banged on it loudly but there was music blasting from inside that she couldn't hear. After a couple of good yells and pounds on the door, Jinny finally heard him and opened the door.

John Sr.- Jinny, what's this I hear about you punching John in the nose?
Jinny- Well..--
John Sr.- Jinny! Look, I know you're having a difficult time right now but punching your brother for no reason is just crossing the line.
Jinny- But--
John Sr.- I'm not done. Now I know I pay more attenion to John Jr. and Casey more than you but I am trying my best. I don't know that much about girls. You know I am trying here.
Jinny- I know that Dad but you're not even listening to me.
John Sr.- What am I not listening to?
Jinny- I did punch John but not for no reason. He called me a slut! I am not going to ignore that.
John Sr.- John Jr., saying you were a slut? No way.

John Jr. then raced up to Jinny's room and started pounding on the door again. Finally, he just opened the door and to his surpise, it was unlocked. John Sr. heard John Jr. yell his name.

John Jr.- DAD!
John Sr.- What?
John Jr.- It's Jinny..she's gone!
John Sr.- What do you mean gone?
John Jr.- I went up to her room and the music is blasting but her window is open and she's not here. Her coat and purse are gone too.
John Sr.- Oh no..

Jinny had to get out of there. She decided to go over Magda's. On her way over there, a car passed by and honked at her. It was a bunch of teenage boys from her school. She was thinking how perfect this was.

Boy- Hey it's Jinny Exstead! Can I have that GREAT time or what?? *Laughs*

Jinny just ran in the other direction and started crying. Little did she know that Jack was in that car and just told the other boy what to say. She ran all the way to Magda's house. She finally got there and rang the door bell. Magda's mom answered the door.

Magda's Mom- Hi Jinny.
Jinny- Hi Mrs. Ramirez. Is Magda home?
Magda's Mom- She's up in her room. You can go up.
Jinny- Thanks.

Magda's mother could clearly see that Jinny had been crying..quite a bit. Jinny got up to Magda's room and knocked on the door.

Magda- No Lily you can't wear my new blouse!
Jinny- *Giggled and knocked again*
Magda- I'm gonna deck you if you don't get away from that door.
Jinny- *Yells through the door* Okay See ya later!!
Magda- Jinny? *Opens the door*
Jinny- Well who else did ya think it was? *Laughs*

Magda- Jin, John's a moron. You can't listen to a word he says.
Jinny- I know that. But I never thought that my own ather wouldn't believe me. He knows what's going on and he still didn't believe me. I can't take this anymore. I'm going to lose my mind. I don't know what to do!!!
Magda- Jinny calm down. It's okay. We'll get through it together.

Magda- *Smiles* I promise.

Around 10:00PM, Jinny came walking into her house. John Sr. had been waiting for her to come home.

John Sr.- Jinny, where have you been? I called everywhere! I almost called the police!
Jinny- Didn't you try Mag's?
John Sr.- Damn! One place I didn't call. Jinny what happened? Why did you leave?
Jinny- Why?!
John Sr.- I know. John Jr. confessed that he deserved that punch.
Jinny- So it had to take him confessing? You didn't believe me on your own.
John Sr.- Jinny girl please. This is hard for me. I'm doing the best that I can.
Jinny- I understand that Dad, but it's not helping. Things are going terribly for me and I don't know how to stop them.
John Sr.- We'll think of a way. I promise.

Jinny woke up on a Monday morning. She was pissed that the weekend has passed by so fast and she had to go back to that hellhole. She got up, got dressed, had
some breakfast and took off, not knowing today would be the day that changed her whole life. Jinny, Magda, and CD were walking into school. There were a lot of
peopel talking, not about Jinny for once. Raina came up to them, who knew all of what was going on.

Raina- Oh my gosh, did you hear about the girl who was raped here?
Magda- What?
Raina- Apparently, after Friday night's football game, she was walking home and she was raped by a student here.
Jinny- Geesh when will it all end?
Raina- She's actually back in school today but she says she can't identify him. Sucks huh? Well see ya later! *Grins and leaves*
Jinny- I hate morning people.
Magda- That's terrible though. I wonder who it was. That's the one piece of info she left out.

It was about 12:00PM when everyone heard a very loud scream. Magda and Jinny just looked at each other. Teachers went to find out what it was. There was a girl
gagged on the floor and knocked unconsious. Raina got a quick peek and from what she saw, it looked like she was raped as well. Raina quickly ran back to the
classroom to tell everyone what was going on

Magda- Another one? What's going on?
Jinny- I don't know but I'm freaked out. For over a week, boys going around calling me a slut and what a good time I am. And now there's a kid in school going
around raping girls. I don't like it one bit.
Magda- I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think this would have happened whether they were doing that to you or not.

At 2:30, the bell was about to ring. There were no more incidents in that 2 1/2 hours. The bell rang and Jinny went to her locker and got her books. As she was standing in front of her locker Magda came up to her.

Magda- You're so slow.
Jinny- Look, if I forget to take my history book home one more time, my father's gonna kill me. I have to make sure I have everything.
Magda- Alright well, I'll wait for you outside.

As Magda was leaving, Jinny was looking around and noticed that there were no kids there. She was hurrying as fast as she could but then, someone slammed her
head into the locker pretty hard and she was knocked out. He tied her hands together and dragged her to the boys bathroom. The janitors were done cleaning it so
he knew it would be safe. Magda was still standing outside but decided to go in and hurry her up. When she got there, she was already gone. Magda was mad.

Magda- Oh anything to play a good trick on me!! I'll get her later.

Magda started to walk home. The boy in the bathroom did what he came to do and left. As he was leaving, Jinny was starting to wake up. The boy went over to her. He was dressed in black and had on a mask.

Boy- He's right. It was a good time.

Jinny noticed his voice. It was strange. Like he inhaled helium. She couldn't tell who he was. Then he hit her on the head again, harder this time and she was again knocked out. There she was, lying on the floor, hoping for someone to find her. As Magda was heading home and realized she too forgot her history book and had to go back. This was not her lucky day. She was now even madder than before. She couldn't be late coming home. Her mother got very suspicious about what her other daughter Lily did afterschool and didn't need a lecture from her mother. She ran there. When she got to her locker, she was out of breath. Her locker was near the girls and boys bathrooms. She thought she heard something as she was opening her locker, but wasn't sure. It sounded like moaning, but this was highschool. In the hallways, they always heard moaning. But she heard it again and it sounded like a painful moan. So she went into the girls bathroom and there was nothing. She hesitated but went into the boys, covering her eyes.

Magda- Hello? Anyone in here?

Magda didn't hear anything but then she took a quick peek and found her best friend, on the floor bleeding.

Magda- Jinny!! Oh god please be alright. Please.

She took out her cell phone and called 9-1-1. Then a janitor came into the bathroom.

Janitor- Sorry girls, you know you're not supposed to be in here and I'm cleaning now so you'll have to go home.
Magda- My friend is unconsious. I found her here.
Janitor- Did you call someone!?
Magda- Yeah 9-1-1.
Janitor- Good.

He took off his shirt and rolled it up to put under her head.

Magda- You don't think it was the boy going around raping girls do you?
Janitor- I don't know, maybe.

Then the paramedics showed up. They examined her and then put her on a stretcher.

Paramedic 1- It looks like this girl was raped then knocked out.
Magda- Oh my gosh..can I please come with her? She's my best friend.
Paramedic 2- Alright just this once.

Magda rode in the ambulance with Jinny. She just held her hand. On the way there, Magda felt Jinny move her hand. Magda looked over to see Jinny's eyes flicker open.

Jinny- Mag..
Magda- Shh don't talk Jinny. You were hurt in school and you're on the way to the hospital.
Jinny- I don't know who it was.
Magda- Who what was?

Jinny couldn't talk. She was really tired. She just closed her eyes. Magda continued to hold her hand and stroke her hair out of her face. She figured she would call her family when they got to the hospital. She also had to call her own mother. When they got there, they quickly rushed Jinny into a room to be examined. Magda called her father. John Sr.'s phone rang.

The nurse led her to Jinny’s room. She had a big bruise on her head already from where she was knocked out. She had cried herself to sleep. Magda could easily see the tear stains on her face. She went over to her bed and whispered softly.
Magda- Jin..
Jinny- *Moaned as she was waking up* Hey..
Magda- How are you doing?
Jinny- I’ve been better.
Magda- Well I called your Dad. He should be here soon. I’m so sorry Jinny.
Jinny- Don’t be Mag. This was bound to happen to me eventually. I mean, in the last 6 months, I’ve been sexually harassed, bullied, humiliated, and now to add to the list, I’ve been raped. *Starts to cry again* What did I do?
Magda- Don’t do that. You did not do anything wrong, you hear me?

At that moment, Jinny’s dad walked into the room and saw Jinny crying.

John Sr.- Jinny girl?
Jinny- Hi Dad.
Magda- I’ll leave you all alone for a little bit.
Jinny- Thanks Mag.
John Sr.- Jinny, the doctor told me what happened. Are you okay?
Jinny- Well..I have a killer headache, I’m in a hospital, and oh yeah I was raped. I’m ducky Dad.
John Sr.- I’m sorry Jin..
Jinny- No I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to snap at you. This day has just been pretty intense.
John Sr.- Well why don’t we go home? I talked to the doctor and he said you can leave.
Jinny- Yeah okay.

The school immediately started an investigation due to all of the rapes. Magda and CD helped Jinny during school. Jinny looked at every male, wondering if he’s the one that did this. CD and Magda didn’t know how to help her. They just did all they could to protect her. One afternoon during school, the principal called Jinny down to the office, as well as some other girls. They were each put into different rooms and questioned. After the principal had all of their stories they called them all into one room.

Principal- Well we compared all of your stories and we believe we know who has been doing this. We have school police picking them up right now. Jack Ellis is one of the boys and his best friend Shawn McFarland is the other. They switched girls and used helium to disguise their voices. I’m sorry for what happened but at least they were caught and you’ll never have to see them again.

Magda- I’m so happy for you. Now they’re gone.
Jinny- Yeah..

As Jack and Shawn were being escorted out to a police car by Kate McCafferty, everyone could hear Jack screaming.

Jack- I’ll get you Jinny Exstead!

Jinny didn’t let it bother her. She decided she was going to forget all about Jack Ellis and go on with the rest of her life.
