Hey guys. :D

Kaitlyn, we ended up going to see Chicago after all and we had pretty good seats (Row C in Dress Circle, which is one balcony up from the floor) and it was awesome. I love it. :D I got a T-shirt, too. W00t.

Chris will be jealous to hear I saw Ruthie Henshall's Roxie pic in the balcony area we were in. ;)

Amy, I went to this wax museum today and they had wax statues of a ton of US celebs...Including Michael Jackson (from about the late 80's/early 90's), so I took a pic. When I get home on Wed, I shall have it uploaded. He looks so real and his outfit was pretty cool.

Yay!!! I love that song.

But my favorite Evanescence songs are My Immortal (any version, especially acoustic) and Missing. Well, Anything For You too. Haha.

Yep, that's the area I was in - Dress Circle. Smaller than I thought, though. It was in Adelphi Theater. I'm amazed we got good seats on such short notice -- we got them like 5 hours before the show.

Suzanne: I know someone who's not going to think Julia's too wonderful.
Charlene: Who?
Suzanne: Wilson Pickett.
Charlene: Wilson Pickett?
Suzanne: You know, that black guy with the bow tie. Where have you been, Charlene? I mean that's what we're doing here.
Charlena: Suzanne, his name is not Wilson Pickett, it's Wilson Brickett. Wilson Pickett's a black singer.
Suzanne: Okay, so I was close.
Charlene: How do you figure you were close, because they're both black? You might as well have said Don King.
Suzanne: Who's Don King?
Charlene: Who's Don King?! You don't know who he is either?
Suzanne: Oh yeah, I know who he is. He's that guy who sings "Tiny Bubbles."
Charlene: "Tiny Bubbles"?! Suzanne, Don King does not sing "Tiny Bubbles," that's Don Ho! *to Julia* She just does this to drive me insane. It's like we're the Smuthers brothers, and she's Tommy and I'm Dick.
Mary Jo: *walks in with a tray* What is the matter?
Suzanne: Oh, I don't know, Mary Jo, it's just Charlene. She's in here raving about "Tiny Bubbles" and calling herself Dick.

I wrote a song. Tell me if it's good.

They called her girl
No one knew her name
Her depression and anxiety
Were her claim to fame
They laughed when she cried
Cried when she laughed
They didn't give a damn
About her awful past

Girl, don't weep
Girl, don't cry
They're the ones living a lie

She was covered in cuts
Covered in scars
Her parents, they were behind bars
Clothes dirty
Clothes torn
Clothes they had once worn

Girl, don't weep
Girl, don't cry
They're the ones living a lie

The sun came out
The breeze died down
Her aunt had entered the town
She outstretched her arms
Smiled a smile
Said, "Sarah, why don't you stay with me awhile?"

Sarah, don't weep
Sarah, don't cry
They'll never realise they're living a lie

Yeah, but you have to remember...In the cars over there, the steering wheel is on the RIGHT side and people drive on the LEFT side of the road. So when you think about it, NYC's bigger (space-wise) than London.

The first one I saw was The Lion King. We had crappy seats for that, and I sat behind some tall dude and couldn't see the stage. :o

Yeah, I'm STILL confused by the whole road bit myself, too. And I've been there for 9 days.

I've seen more than enough. I'm more than ready to come back home. Their pizzas totally blow ass. (the ones I had, anyway...Victoria Station's Deep Pan Pizza is REALLY good tho) and I'm sick of eating restaurant/"take away" (the Brit's term for "takeout") food for breakfast, lunch and supper. The only thing I really like is Caffe Nero, a coffee shop that's all over London. OMG...their coffee is sooooooooo good. I'm gonna miss it when I go home.

I don't think we'll be doing anything this summer...After the trip here, we're pretty wiped out. The pound costs more than the dollar. £20 = $40  actually, right now, £1 = $1.96, so I brought $340 and only got £171 that had to last me 10 days.

For starters, Aiken acknowledged his clunky Chicago debut, during the last "American Idol" tour, which was rife with technical problems and long delays. He laughed whenever he frequently flubbed what few rudimentary dance moves he attempted, and even made light of forgetting the lyrics to a few songs. "You know I'm not lip-syncing when I don't know the words," he said in the middle of a brief acoustic set, which found him covering James Taylor's "Carolina in my Mind" and Sting's "Fields of Gold."

Aiken was less comfortable with Prince's "When Doves Cry" than he was performing his own custom made "Perfect Day" or "Invisible," but he was rarely less than charming. He even survived a right of passage endured by all (male) pop idols: ducking teddy bears one second and underwear the next.

Look at the 5th page (the one on the left side where he's looking down). This kid in my geometry class is convinced that this is a hidden message that is announcing Clay's gayness because he's looking at an obscene looking object in front of him.

I can't wait until after the competition, when they Top 12 go on tour. I kicked myself for missing last year's Top 12 on tour but I will definitely be saving some money for a ticket in case they come to San Diego.

I thought last year's was the best. I think this is going to be the Top 12 by which all others are judged. Last year had only 5 favorites of mine (Clay, Ruben, Kim Locke, Kim Caldwell, Rickey) This year my favorites are

Matt Rogers
George Huff
Jon Peter Lewis
Diana DeGarmo
Latoya London
Jennifer Hudson
Jasmine Trias
Amy Adams

Last year will always be my fav. for obvious reasons.. but last year my favs. were:

Clay
Rickey
Kim C.

This year my favs. are:
Jon Peter Lewis
Matt Rogers *tear*
Diana DeGarmo

I like more of the top 12 this year than I did last, but I still have only 3 favs... the rest kinda changes each week.

I knew that somewhere along the line, Matt would be eliminated because he probably didn't have as much fan support as the other contestants. I just wish he would have stayed around longer. He had potential. Maybe he could get a record deal, I would be just as happy if that happened.

Same with me. More so though with JPL. Ever since JPL first auditioned, I had the feeling he'd make the top 12. Then when he got kicked off, I was *so* confident he'd be America's Choice. Im not so sure of him winning, but Ive always felt he'll def. make top 3.
