Why is it that whenever I come on in school, no one's here?

Jacquelyn just flipped her mouse over and I laughed really loud and everyone looked at me :p

I was in the computer lab second period and Mrs. Iodice's class was in there and I was all :eyes:

1. They just wheeled out this HUGE tray of food.
2. My computer screen had a seizure.
3. It's time to go to 7th period!

I'm trying to make an avatar from a music video I downloaded (by hitting the print screen button) but it doesn't come out. I put it in paint, and see the picture of the part of the video I want, but when I go to resize it and move it, the picture part stays in the middle of the screen and wont move to another part of the page. Anyone know how to fix it?! If you're lost, play a video, hit print screen, post it in paint, then try to move around what you pasted. It won't. :crying:

When you push play on the video, does the picture you screencapped move as if the video was in there? Cos if it does, I can help.

Are you on XP at the moment?

I think it was Krisilicious (sp?) that taught me this trick...

Go to your desktop properties, then go to the Settings Tab. Once you're there, under the "Color Quality" area, you will see two buttons, Troubleshoot and Advanced. Click on the Advanced button, and go to the Troubleshoot tab and move the Hardware Acceleration tab all the way over to "None" and apply the changes. It'll make your computer act a little funky, but it doesn't do any damage...you can change it all the way back to "Full" after you're done taking pics. And you should be able to save your screencaps more easily with this method. :D

It doesn't seem to work with me for Windows Media Player, but with the other media programs I used, it worked fine. :)

yea, screen caps never come out the way I want them to.

maybe it's because I use a real camera instead of a digital, seeing as how I don't have one. maybe that's why I stick to taking screen caps of music videos I download, now the oens I get off the tv.

AAA, I may be moving back to IL sooner than I thought. we set the motel up for sale this morning. God, I hope we sell it. and not take like 3 or 4 years to do so.

I've been doing that with the last few av's I had...the trick is to use the movie feature and then you can mess around with it on your comp :)

I was bored as usual so decided to read some old random threads that I never read before because I moved to Boulder computerless. so I pull up this one thread and people are talking about me behind my back...for like 30 pages. people I thought were really good friends saying things...terrible things. I felt so sick of reading it cause they just kept going on and on and on and on.....even people who've posted in here.

What I get out of the whole thing is that people were selling perscription drugs at school. They got arrested and people ended up in the hospital. Apparently one girl died. Her name is Katherine. Whether or not I know this girl has yet to be determined.

Joliet and Devils Lake, ND (The dump I once lived in for a few months shy of 11 years) easily rival each other...Eh. I have tons of stories from when I lived in DL.

Don't get me started with the stupid Devils Lake HS Satans mascot controversy....it was the THIRD mascot controversy my HS had in 16 years, when they had the final one in 2002. The first one was in 1986 and the 2nd in 1991. GOOD GOD.

Now that I think about it, I registered right around the time it started...mid-July 2002.

Earlier last year (in '03), two Native American boys had an argument which they settled with guns. They were cousins, one 17 and one 19. The 19 year old cousin shot and murdered his 17 year old cousin...this happened on the Fort Totten reservation, which is about 5-10 minutes south of Devils Lake.

And within a few days of each other (one at the end of Feb and the other one early this month), there were TWO bomb threats up there...one at the HS and one at the middle school I attended.

What a colorful town I used to live in...

This happened about a month after I moved away from Devils Lake...OK, there was this white girl (I knew her) who was hanging out with a Native American boy...The female is 18, a month older than me, but she was a grade behind me in school, and the male was like 2-3 years older...at least 21. ANyway, they hung out together one night and the girl got REALLY drunk...but you will never guess by what time...7pm. Yeah. The girl decided she wanted to go out driving, so she drove back into town after being in Fort Totten with this guy...then she went into the parking lot of a church that is just right before you get into Devils Lake...THEN SHE DROVE INTO, SMASHED AND TOTALLED A TOTAL OF SEVEN PARKED CARS.

Oh my God. What the hell was she thinking????
