When you have read and responded to your PMs, do you normally delete, or save them? I for one, always delete them, I see no need to save them.

View Full Version : Delete, or not? Tuesday Weld 03-12-2004, 07:55 PM When you have read and responded to your PMs, do you normally delete, or save them? I for one, always delete them, I see no need to save them. Mr. Television 03-12-2004, 07:56 PM I've saved most of them. PZelda 03-12-2004, 08:04 PM Saved all of 'em (unless the person accidentally sent me a double PM...then I delete one). :D Tuesday Weld 03-12-2004, 08:10 PM I guess I just see no need to save them. I feel like, if you're regularly in touch with that person, you can always write new PMs. *shrugs* :) Just my feeling. Cashodeen 03-12-2004, 08:15 PM I save them. I've only had about 5 though. :crying:-----JK. I like to save most emails too, if they are letters. I'm a big saver though, with everything. I hate throwing stuff out! Once I do, I regret it for life. Tuesday Weld 03-12-2004, 08:18 PM Originally posted by Cashodeen I save them. I've only had about 5 though. :crying:-----JK. I'm the same way with emails - I never save them, either, once I've responded. Brian 03-12-2004, 08:19 PM I save them but I'm planning on getting rid of some that I don't like or ones that I feel are not the least bit worth saving. I went through the roof one time when some mysteriously were deleted. I don't know what my deal is--it's not so much the fact that I think I need them to read someday later--I just HAVE to SAVE. It's strange of me. PZelda 03-12-2004, 08:30 PM Originally posted by Cashodeen I save them. I've only had about 5 though. :crying:-----JK. I like to save most emails too, if they are letters. I had a school email address that was first registered in January 1997, when I was in 6th grade. Last summer (the summer after I graduated from HS), I went into my school email inbox and saved every single one of my emails and then burned them onto a CD. :D It's a good thing I did, because my original school email address no longer exists now...I have another one now (I'm in college) but I'm most likely not going to be saving any of the emails in it after I graduate...my teachers use it to email me my homework. Boring. :p I have a bunch of email addresses I registered in 98/99, though, and I STILL have a bunch of emails in them from since that time...Periodically, though, I go through one of the inboxes and delete emails w/ attachments to free up space. :D david&maddie4ever 03-12-2004, 08:43 PM I always save mine...I value my conversations with my SO friends. :D The Modfather 03-12-2004, 08:50 PM Originally posted by Miss Vicki Saved all of 'em (unless the person accidentally sent me a double PM...then I delete one). :D Ditto dawsongirl 03-12-2004, 09:43 PM I forget and leave them in there. Rhiannon 03-12-2004, 09:52 PM I delete them and all the old threads I've subscribed to. -*Forever*- 03-12-2004, 09:58 PM I have ones where Chris was telling me about some Jeremy Irons porn thing. Now, you tell me how old THAT is  Tuesday Weld 03-12-2004, 10:30 PM Originally posted by david&maddie4ever I always save mine...I value my conversations with my SO friends. :D I value my conversations, also, with my friends. :D I just don't like the idea of the PMs, or my email being cluttered-up. That's just me, though. :p Cactus Jack 03-12-2004, 10:39 PM Originally posted by david&maddie4ever I always save mine...I value my conversations with my SO friends. :D Ditto! *Pleasant Tomorrow* 03-12-2004, 11:39 PM I save them all. I don't have a lot anyway... -*Leah*- 03-12-2004, 11:41 PM I deleted about 30 the other day that I had been saving for a long time, so now, I only have like 1 or 2 in there. I plan on deleting them the next time I get a new pm. dandelion wine 03-14-2004, 02:46 AM If I had kept every single one of them, I'd probably have maybe 10,000.. something like that. Done a lot of cleaning up in my PM box, but I do keep some. [-Kelsey-] 03-14-2004, 02:35 PM I delete them. .simpson_10. 03-14-2004, 03:03 PM Originally posted by ElvisDustyfan When you have read and responded to your PMs, do you normally delete, or save them?
