View Full Version : Sign of something? Eyes?
JoJoJoJoJoJoJoJoJo 03-08-2004, 07:32 PM My eyes have gotten to where they just burn all of the sudden for no reason, like it'll get so bad i'll have to just close my eyes and they will still hurt when i close them. It's extremely uncomfortable sometimes. Is this a symptom of anything? My eye sight seems to be fine, my eyes just hurt!

I don't think it's anything to worry about though. Try some eyewash or Visine (sp?) seems to help me. :)
Georgia's on my Mind 03-08-2004, 07:48 PM you're going blind, seek medical attention asap.
Tuesday Weld 03-08-2004, 08:00 PM I get that sometimes, too. Maybe it's eyestrain.

Too much time on the Internet-maybe? :)
EricIdlefan 03-08-2004, 09:04 PM Check them for glucoma!!
dawsongirl 03-08-2004, 10:41 PM Maybe you're like me and have a tendency to stare without blinking and don't even realize it. I do that way too often. And when I do blink, my eyes are so dry they burn.
spunkygirl 03-09-2004, 12:01 AM Sounds like eye strain. Do you wear glasses or contacts? If not, you might need them for reading and such. I wear glasses when I'm on the computer. :)
Rebel Queen 1980 03-09-2004, 12:12 AM Could by dryness or sinuses,If you get sinues that is,
you may need to see an eye doctor or regular doctor though.

Same with me!! Do that without my glasses!!
Ewan's My Man 03-09-2004, 06:21 PM a lot of things could cause it, allergies, if you were contacts, nothing too severe, but if it starts getting to the point where you can't stand it go to the doctors...
JoJoJoJoJoJoJoJoJo 03-11-2004, 03:51 PM Well, i'm not ont he computer enough anymore for it to be because of that... and it's about to get to the point where it's very very uncomfortable ALL THE TIME... that eye strain might be it, i dunno, i can see pretty good I guess, might take my eyes a second to adjust but after that i'm fine... dunno, guess i'll just go get my eyes checked out

Rebel Queen 1980 03-12-2004, 01:38 AM My mom had a problem similar to that back in April 2002
and our eye doctor gave her some Tear Refreshers,I think
sometimes that they can give them if you ask,but sometimes
you may need a prescription.Anyways go to the doctors
and ask.Hope you find some help!:)
