Was Coach canceled or did they quit?

I was watching when it was first run but I don't remember. The show never got much publicity. When it did get mentioned in the last few seasons it was usually the critics sniping something like "Can you believe that Coach is still on?". I didn't agree and thought the show was still doing good shows. I still believe that. And the series still hasn't gotten much credit as having been a good show.

At least they were allowed to do a season finale, I kind of agreed with Luther... why are they cancelling the show?

This ensemble cast grew on me quickly, and could easily have followed the fortunes and misfortunes of the Orlando Breakers for another season.
