At church there always is other people besides the priest serving communion .I will purposely get in the line that the priest isn't covering and after I receive communion I will say "Thank you LEM "!!!!

Hey Sven!

Thanks for asking, my mom has been slowly recuperating from her serious infection.

Presently she is at a skilled nursing facility and trying hard not to complain about the hospital food. I bring her extra stuff to try to get her weight up but her appetite is very low and she seems to only basically be able to consume foods like soup or ice cream which are easier for her to digest. But she is gamely trying to eat the dinner they just brought her on a tray. She loves mashed potatoes too.

She is able to do limited amounts of physical rehab and walking a little bit but it is an uphill battle at this point and every bit of progress feels like a tiny miracle from where she was last week.
