Oh, that's right, Duff Goldman was on today

I knew they were on, but forgot to set the VCR. I'll just track it down when CBS posts it.

(I don't hate daytime TV, I just don't watch it anymore. In fact, I was a game show junkie growing up.)

I don't have to look. Without checking I'll bet 5 bucks it's either Steve Winwoods "Valerie" or The Monkees "Valleri".

I'd post the Nancy Dittmeyer photo, but it's only on my tablet.

Looks like a nice month full of variety on Sven!
I don't watch Svengoolie anymore, but I'd make an exception if he'd show The Blob movie. I have the movie on a VHS tape, but I'd probably watch if Svengoolie shows it.

When I first saw The Blob movie years ago as a kid, I thought it was scary. Watching it now, the scare factor is gone, it's campy and silly. Still fun to watch though.

LOL, continue dreaming, you're not pregnant. And even if you are, it's not from Lembeck.

Not really, maybe the Abbott and Costello movie but I'm not really an A & C fan.

They all look good to me. Wonderful lineup this month I think. I knew we were due for another Abbott and Costello movie with Meet Frankenstein being shown in November, one's usually shown in the Spring and then sometimes one in the summer and one in the fall. I like them, although he overplays Meet Frankenstein. I hope if he gets The Blob, that also means he got a Paramount package (The Blob is Paramount-owned), so more movies!

I would watch The Blob to see Sven's comedy shtick, to see what type of fun he pokes at the movie.

The Blob has a sequel, I think it's called Son Of Blob or Return Of The Blob, maybe he could show that one too.

Maybe. I hope if he got The Blob, it's coming up relatively shortly, so April or May. But I know there are Toho movies and Gargoyles (1972) that are going to be repeated eventually.

Are you familiar at all with the movie serials that were made back in the 30's, 40's, & 50's? There were three studios that produced most of the serials, Republic, Columbia, and Universal. The Columbia's are my favorites. I have a nice collection of serials, I don't have every one that was made but I have many of them. Columbia made 57 serials, I have 48 of them.

Yeah, serials like Commando Cody and Flash Gordon? Sven has shown those if a movie runs short before ,although not in awhile. It sounds like Sven's possibly expanding to Columbia and Paramount (which should get him a lot of stuff for this and next year) which is nice.
