And how does Shout ship? Will it come through the regular mail through USPS or do they use a different service?

I've already sold my Seasons 3-5 and got hardly anything for them and they wouldn't take my Seasons 1-2 so I guess I will be giving that to Goodwill or Salvation Army.

It was a sale they were having during their introduction to the new improved website. They had coupons plus free shipping and other offers during that time. That is when I also preordered the DVDs.

I received my dvd through USPS. I am not sure about bigger packaging like complete series as I bought my WKRP from Amazon. I am assuming their bigger packaging is via UPS.

There's a new packaging pic up on amazon that shows spine art of the viva cases and the front art for seasons 1 & 2.

Judging by that same photo the seasons are broken up like this
DVD Box 1 - Season 1 & 2 - # of discs: 4
DVD Box 2 - Season 3 & 4 - # of discs: 6
DVD Box 3 - Season 5 & 6 - # of discs: 6
DVD Box 4 - Season 7 & 8 - # of discs: 6
DVD Box 5 - Season 9/Bonus Features - # of discs: 4

It also looks like a little booklet is included as well

Is anyone else wondering what the video quality will be like since most of the seasons are being released on 3 discs each instead of 4? I was watching the season 5 set the other day and forgot how horrible the picture is for some of the episodes like Chain Letter. I know it's doubtful but I hope Shout remasters the video quality on this set. Sony did a really good job on the first 3 seasons so it is possible to do something to improve the video quality.

Nice. i'm happy the main music eps (Stacey Q, and Michael Damian) will be left intact. This is great news...
