I think the AFC Championship game airing is just so that it can draw even more (preferably younger) viewers to its Tuesday slot.

I'm definitely not a fan of procedurals, but The Mentalist is definitely one of CBS's better ones. It's got this kind of quirkiness to it that the other CBS crime dramas don't have, probably because of Simon Baker. It's grown on me all season.

I just hope CBS keeps it on Tuesdays next season. NCIS and The Mentalist are definitely their strongest duo. It does skew very old, but what CBS drama doesn't skew old?-LOL

No it isn't. I posted what will air in Pacific zones on the date. The change happened today. Don't look at TV listings when they haven't updated yet.

The Mentalist is becoming one of my favorite shows on TV. And it's in such a good slot at the moment. I only watched NCIS a couple times (both this season), and I can understand why people like it - good acting, good writing, and very entertaining.

Looks like Million Dollar Password is not on CBS' favorites. They have pulled the January 25 airing for a special Cold Case (new episode) at 8pm leading into the Hallmark movie from 9-11pm.

It was skewing too old. Not sure when the other unaired episodes will air now. Since Amazing Race will return to the slot in February.

right now CBS has reruns on THursday Night's at 7:00 pm CT Time so maybe They could air Milionaire Dollar Password on Thursday Night's at 7:00 pm CT Time.

Ya know, it's like old people don't have a right to exist, much less watch TV, according to network philosophy. But guess what, America is aging as a nation....I just hate that term "skewing old".

I agree. What's so wrong with "old"? They have more $$ than the young people!

Yeah...Patrick Jane is a good character and Simon does a great job with him. I like the show as a whole, though I've never been too sold on Lisbon, but she seems to be mellowing a little.

Yeah, the show as a whole is great. I agree with you on Lisbon, though - she seems to be mellowing out with Jane, but she's still too cold as a person. I wonder if the writers have any intent for a Jane/Lisbon romance sometime down the road.

I was really enjoying MDP - much better than Amazing Race. it was getting 10 million viewers. And of all networks to call it old-skewing . . . makes no sense to me. Saturdays would be the perfect slot for it, though. Older-skewing is acceptable on a night that's made of 90% repeats most of the time.

I do too. CBS has canceled a few shows that I liked because it skewed old....Shark,....Close to Home. Ratings overall weren't that bad either. I always got alot of flack because I liked Matlock and Diagnosis Murder too. I was much younger when I watched those though. lol
