Pavan, any word from the Alphabet on whether they plan to broadcast the remaining 'Hank' episodes this summer? Perhaps on Saturday nights, or even Comedy Wednesdays (at 8 pm or at 10:00/10:30 pm)?
I also think there are a few unaired 'Eastwick' episodes sitting around in someone's office at ABC. |

Haven't heard yet but they have unaired episodes of Hank (like 5), Better off Ted (2), Eastwick (2) and the forgotten (2). I hope they air on Saturdays because wouldn't want Hank and Ted to ruin Comedy Wednesday rhythm (unless Ted airs after ModFam). I don't think Eastwick will air since they skipped around at the end (plus I saw the two unaired ones thanks to Hallmark in England).

Hopefully ABC will smartly schedule Castle repeats somewhere on the schedule. A good spot may be Sundays at 8pm, leading into the new dramas 9-11pm. I wouldn't see a problem with Hank airing Wednesdays at 8pm in the summer. They have like 5 unaired episodes, don't they? Same goes for Ted. They might as well air them on Wednesday in summer, since the chance of a renewal is about as slim as you can get.

I am really liking this summer schedule, feels very strong. Now left to schedule:
Ben-Hur (4 hours mini-series) Secret Millionnaire (maybe Thursday at 8pm?) Let's Dance (if not dead) Possible: Star Search (Unlikely I think) Shark Tank (if renewed) Conveyer Belt of Love (if anything fails, possible quick replacement) |

Maybe Ben-Hur will be saved for December or something. I don't see any room really for it in summer. It would need to air in two 2-hour blocks (perhaps a Sunday and Tuesday in December?). ABC usually does well with these mini-series in December.
I could see Secret Millionaire possibly twice a week -- Sundays at 8 and Thursdays at 8. Hopefully Let's Dance moves forward. Shark Tank would be good, too, but maybe it will be for fall on Fridays? |

Exclusive: ABC Supersizes 'Lost' Finale
ShareThisBuzz up!EMAILPRINT0 diggs digg By Josef Adalian Published: April 08, 2010 EXCLUSIVE ABC has found more time to say goobye to "Lost." The network has decided to supersize its farewell to the iconic drama, expanding a previously announced one-hour pre-show to two full hours. The special is now expected to air from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, right before the two-hour "Lost" finale. Add in a special "Jimmy Kimmel Live" -- "Lost: After the Final Rose"-- airing that Sunday, and ABC is now planning to devote no less than five hours of airtime to the "Lost" swan song. That's really showing some (Dharma) initiative! Meanwhile, "America's Funniest Home Videos" will now have its finale a week earlier. (Wonder if there'll be a cliffhanger?) Home > Columns > tv |

I think I posted that the LOST finale night would be 7-11pm in primetime a few weeks back, but not sure why ABC listed AFV's season finale on that night in the press release earlier today (it was the first I have seen of that). I'm guessing the AFV finale will be on Friday, May 21 or they'll remove one of the repeats in April and have the finale on Sunday, May 16 with the other regular Sunday show finales.
Anyway, my LOST finale ratings prediction (18-49): 7pm hour approaching a 3, 8pm hour approaching a 6 (closer to mid 5s though), 9pm hour approaching a 7, and 10pm hour approaching a 8. I think it will be huge. If it does better than an 8 I'm sure ABC will be celebrating even more. |

from the article it implies theyll just replace a rerun with original and it'll finish May 16th at 7p. Personally, one of the 2 EM rerun weeks, I'd be curious to see air the fresh AFV at 8p out of either rerun of EM or AFV. I dont expect them to do it, just think it would be cool.

The 'Lost' Finale Will Pull a Series High in A18-49s
Quote:
I agree with Pavan that the final hour of 'Lost' will go back to, and exceed, the 6.6 A18-49 numbers it garnered when Oceanic Flight #815 first crash-landed back in 2004. I'm estimating the four hours on the final Sunday will be 7-8pm: 4.2, 8-9pm: 5.1, 9-10pm: 6.1 and 10-11pm: 8.4, with 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' pulling down an all-time series high 2.3 in the A18-49 measure. |

FROM THR;
ABC trying 'Private Practice' in 'Grey's' slot Another broadcaster is experimenting with its Thursday lineup. On April 22, ABC will try swapping "Grey's Anatomy" with its spinoff "Private Practice." This isn't quite the same as when CBS recently swapped "CSI" and "The Mentalist," however, since "Grey's" is a repeat that week. So experiment aside, it makes sense to have the stronger episode at 9 p.m. Still, it gives ABC a look at what "Practice" does in the earlier slot. Since they are swapping, wish they would air Jamie Oliver on this night at 9p maybe with new PP at 10p |

Then they would lose the Grey's revenue if they put Jamie at 9.
Thursday, April 22, 1010 9:00pm Private Practice (all-new, special time) 10:00pm Grey's Anatomy (R, special time) |

well they are not gonna get what they'd normally get by airing it at 10 and i'd just like to see them
a) not get 1's on this night b) give Jamie a shot at better numbers on a more viewed night c) give PP a better shot, because out of FF and against all new comp on all other nets, it's gonna come in 3rd at best. |
