I ordered Mister Ed the complete series the other day, and soon I will get Diff'rent Strokes Season 7 and preorder Season 8. I have the complete series of I Love Lucy (it's pretty reasonably priced for $40ish) and Season 1 of Hazel. I'd really like to get Seasons 3, 4, 5, & 6 of Alice on DVD but for nearly $30 each...they'll have to wait. I'd also like to get the Designing Women DVDs.

Yeah, it really is! I love watching Mr. Ed! I loved watching it on Antenna when they had it and now on my DVDs coming soon. I would also like to get The Addams Family. I love that show too, it's really fun! And The Munsters. I like that show too.

Yeah!!! Totally!! The Adams family and the Munsters were great! Lots of fun shows in that era of the early 60's!!

Bewitched is definitely my favorite sitcom from the 60s! But I also really like The Addams Family and The Munsters. The Munsters is pretty cheap on DVD too, I think. I also have Green Acres the complete series, I also really enjoy that show. The cartoons were also classic, like the Flintstones and the Jetsons!

Oh heck yeah!! Green Acres and the Flintstones are two of my very all time favorite TV shows!! They are a HOOT!!! I have Flintones Season 3! The Jetsons and Bewitched are also really cool too! Have you ever checked out Petticoat Junction? It's a very cute, heartwarming fun show that also took place in Hooterville, Green Acres being a spin off of PJ!

The 2nd season of Hazel is my favorite, I think that's the best season. Several good episodes. Ordering season 2 is a good choice . I Love Lucy is a show that I've just not gotten into all that much, I might watch it once in a while on TV but I don't desire to have it on DVD. I prefer The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy over I Love Lucy.

Talking about 1960's TV, I agree the 60's was the best decade for TV. So many good shows during that time, unlike today's shows that are mostly garbage.

I watched last night the movie Dying Room Only, very good suspense thriller, well done and well acted. Towards the end of the movie it's explained how Cloris Leachman's hubby disappeared, but at this point of the movie things start happening pretty quickly so you have to pay close attention. I won't reveal anything more except to say that the movie does have a happy ending.

I'm not a big fan of Cloris Leachman, but she has long hair in this movie which makes her look somewhat attractive, and she wears white slacks throughout the movie which shows off her butt rather nicely.

Dying Room Only was directed by Philip Leacock, the same guy who directed 13 West Street. Watching both movies I can see similarities in the style of direction.

I love many 60s shows...Bewitched, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Hazel, The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, Get Smart, Dragnet, Adam-12, etc. I don't like Hogan's Heroes or McHale's Navy at all I enjoy The Joey Bishop Show thanks to Antenna running it again! Just not one of my favs. Also Doris Day and Family Affair I like!

Also, Svengoolie has shown some good 60s classics -- The Night Walker, Curse of the Werewolf, Kiss of the Vampire, and such being my favorites (Night Walker my all time favorite Sven flick.) Oh, and also Island of Terror with Peter Cushing is a good one! And the Godzilla/Toho flicks. Sven's getting more into the 70s now with movies like Duel, Gargoyles, Barracuda , Ants, Tarantulas: The Deadly Cargo, etc.

I'm generally not a fan of military sitcoms, so I don't like Hogans Heroes or McHale's Navy either. Gomer Pyle USMC is alright, some of those episodes are funny.

Joey Bishop Show I've become a big fan of since Antenna TV started running it. Not the greatest sitcom of all time, but it's a lot of fun. I'd like to see the complete series issued on DVD, but in case it doesn't happen I recorded the Antenna TV airings of the episodes.

Oh cool! Season 2 of Hazel is the lowest priced season at Wal*Mart ! And Lucy I'm still trying to decide between Season 1 and 2? I really love I Love Lucy ! It's a go to comfort show for me. Just hearing the theme music and seeing the heart come up in the opening cheers me up if I'm sad or in a bad mood! I love all the Lucy's ! I love Lucy is the best IMO, than The Lucy show, and Here's Lucy third best , but a big plus in that is cute Desi Jr. Did you think Kim/Lucie was cute?

I have a small DVD (5 or 6 color eps.) of The Lucy show. I bought it at Big Lots or somewhere years ago! It's really good!

Cloris Leachman has pretty hair. I always thought that when she played Phyllis on Mary Tyler Moore! She was also in that made for TV scary movie from 1972." Haunts of the very rich "with my adorable young Michael Lembeck!! I will research "Dying room only" on IMdb ! Maybe i had seen it years ago!?
