My first name is Laura. I hate it so much! I wish my parents would have gone with there other choice, which would have been Elizabeth. They decided not to though because of our last name. It's similar to Borden but not spelled or even said that way, people just can't ever say my last name correctly. My mom couldn't get that saying "Lizzie Borden took an ax, gave her father 40 whacks, and when she saw what she had done, she gave her mother 41." She told my dad that there was no way they could name me that because kids would probably make fun of my name.

I'm Laura too, but you already knew that haha. My dad wanted to name me samantha though, i like that name better. Then i could be a "sammi"
