Ah, sorry about that; I knew it aired at the beginning of season 4, but technically it was a two-hour event before the premiere episode of season 4 (Sat. night, 5 nights before season 4 premiered the following Wed.).

At the moment it isn't on Amazon. If it does end up on Amazon you won't be able to get the discounts. The bonus of ordering from Shout is that you get free standard shipping on month early which means you will get it before it officially becomes available to people buying at stores like Amazon.

I recently pre ordered this and The Jeffersons

I pre-ordered yesterday and saved a lot more money than I thought it would. The price on Amazon, when it is listed on Amazon could be better, but you'd have to pay a lot for shipping because of the weight. Plus, it most likely won't be on Amazon until January when the boxset will be released in stores and have the price of $200. Also, like mentioned above, it will arrive before Christmas. With Amazon, since it seems like a hot commodity it may be sold out very quickly.

I feel with ShoutFactory they're offering free shipping, early delivery, and discounts so that they can figure out the number of orders to make, if that make sense. Even though I'm mainly fueled into buying the boxsets for the later seasons and bonus features, i hope the bonus features are good.

The last bonus features was a small featurette which i liked but otherwise it was just trivia and simple trivia at that (which i hate on dvd sets) and the FOL Paris movie. Although, if they aren't any decent bonus features i won't send it back like some fans I've seen online are planning to do.

How much did it end up costing you to pre-order?

Do you HAVE to buy the entire series? What about those who have season 1-5 already?

Mill Creek will probably release the rest seperately later.

If I preorder now, will it immediately charge my card or will it wait until the item ships? I'm without work right now and have very little money but I will be getting birthday and Christmas money in December, so I will have some then. If it won't charge my card til then I can preorder now, but I can't charge that much right now if it charges immediately.

Having never seen this show, would you say more women gravitate to it moreso than men? Just wondering since it's primarily a female cast. Just wanted to ask and see. Thanks!

It will charge your card but then after a week or so, the money will be "put back" and then taken out again when the order actually ships. Basically, since you are ordering the item right now your card will act as if you already made your payment to keep you up to date with your money. But it won't actually be paid for until the item ships.
