There's an opening scene cut from syndication (I'm pretty sure I'd remember it) with Barbara on the phone trying to talk to Elton John.

It would have been cool if Elton John could have guest starred on ODAAT sometime. Even just a cameo!

Either the obvious in the early seasons, like the girls trying to go to a concert, or later on, after Ann became a bigwig in the advertising business. Remember when she tried to hook up Alex with Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Reggie Jackson?

How about when Max was a pilot if Elton John was on one of his flights? Say Max was working the first class section that day and Elton had a long layover in Indy, Max talking him into coming to the apt. to meet his Wife and Sister in law who are really big fans! Would that be too far fetched? Would Elton be too big of a star, too famous to be on a commercial flight like that? Even in first class?
