i don't really believe it's dumb if people think gays shouldn't be able to adopt, because you can't deny it would be hard on that kid growing up. i also couldn't blame someone if they believed it was wrong for religious reasons. but the state marriage is in today is nothing to brag about, so if you're gonna ban gay couples being able to adopt, let's ban divorce too.

That it would hurt the child because other kids would make fun of them for having to moms or two dads. And then Lynn said kids could get picked on for a number of things. And I agree with that now.

I really don't understand how it could have some horrible effect on the kid. Possibly the only bad thing is because they'll be teased, as that's other people's fault.

that's all true.. and kids will always get picked on for one thing or another. that's just one of them. i think gay couples should be able to adopt if they would be good parents, as with all couples wanting to adopt. as long as they can provide a good, loving family for that kid.. that's what should come before all other things.
