In a previous post, I mentioned Ross & Rachel from "Friends" (mostly because I grew up with them and I'm a sucker for the will they/won't they crap, but I thought it was actually dragged out well, though I think it would have made more sense if they'd gotten back together when they had the baby) and Sam & Diane from "Cheers" (I love the love/hate thing they have going, and their conflicting points of view offer some hilarious arguments and conversations).
I also want to mention Turk & Carla from "Scrubs," if for no other reason than it's refreshing to see a couple stick it out for the entirety of the show instead of falling into the on-again/off-again dynamic; and Lindsay & Tobias from "Arrested Development," mostly because of the 'open marriage' stuff and the idea of being trapped in a loveless marriage with a sexually ambiguous person. |

Boy this is an old thread ( 2003 )
Id say #1 all-time is Sam and Diane from Cheers, my current fave sitcom couple is Brent and Lacey from Corner Gas seen here sharing a chili cheese dog ( in Brent's fantasy )....until Brent decides he'd rather eat it ALL himself, instead! VVV

My favourite´s definitely David&Maddie from Moonlighting and Luke&Lorelai from Gilmore Girls.
Gotta love Chandler&Monica, Friends, Sam&Diane, Cheers and Niles&Daphne, Frasier as well.. Probably more interesting to watch before they got together for the first time, why is that!? The only exception is Chandler&Monica, they made great comedy together. |

Steve and Elyse Keaton
Cory and Topanga Larry Appleton, and Jennifer Kevin and Winnie Niles and Daphne (and the hope that they eventually would get together) I also hoped that Mallory and Skippy would end up together, and that Steve Erkel and Laura Winslow would get together. (what can I say, I'm a hopeless romantic!) |
