It pretty much has to be; mostly no one would buy season 1 except for the most loyal of fans (i.e., lots of us here, lol, but not even all of us).

I'd like it early, but there is no way I will pay Shout's exorbitant shipping prices. I love their product but I got burned in 2010 when I ordered S4 of Rhoda and they charged me $27 to ship to Canada! (AND I later saw 2 copies at the record store in the mall despite it being a Shout Select title--OUCH). The Facts set would probably run me $100 just for shipping!

^ I live in the US and shipping would be free for me if I order now but even with free shipping, amazon is always cheaper. I'll just wait for the Jan. 13 release date.

Note: the article says it also includes Canada. You may want to look into it some more if you can't wait for the general release date.

I live in the US and I may buy it. I have enough budgeted right now and it would be a great Christmas gift. I'm going to try and find coupon codes though.

The main thing that is drawing me in right now is free shipping.

I agree, and its not just because I'm not too fond of the color pink.

I wonder how Shout did on music clearances for Seasons 6-9.

My main concern is that everything is intact for the Stacey Q appearances as well as the El Debarge episode. I want to hear them sing "You Wear it Well" and especially the scene where Blair does an impromptu version of "My Boyfriend's Back". Not a big fan of the "Cruising" episode, so while I'd like this set to be 100% uncut, that one's not a dealbreaker for me.

I agree except hoping the Cruising episode is in tact and Gone With the Wind Parts 1 & 2....everything else I think I can live with changes.

Bonus features! Awesome. I hope we get bloopers, Easter eggs (or Eastland eggs? lol), commentary, and the reunion panel and movie. I will not buy it until I know that all the music is cleared. I also agree the box set is *too* pink and should be more in line with Eastland colors (blue and yellow), but I shouldn't nitpick, I'm glad it's coming already in January!

I just pre ordered mine. If there are no good special features then it will be getting sent back.

They have no run times on the DVD set so I'm guessing it is not finished yet. They are probably still trying to figure out what to add.

I am guessing the first 5 seasons will be exactly like the previous releases. If that is true then the Paris movie is at least a guaranteed bonus.

Well it shouldn't be considered a "bonus", because it was the four episodes of season four.

It was actually not part of season 4. In syndication it is aired as part of season 4
