First, CSI (Las Vegas), then CSI: Miami, then CSI: New York?

First, NCIS (Washington DC), then NCIS: Los Angeles, then NCIS: New Orleans?

CBS has renewed a total of 20 shows for next season. Odd shows out from the list are The Mentalist and The Crazy Ones.

The Big Bang Theory aired at least one original episode in all four of the Monday Night sitcom timeslots (8:00, 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30) during its first three seasons before moving to Thursdays starting with its fourth season. 2 Broke Girls has aired at least one original episode in each of those same timeslots during its run as of this writing. Is there any chance that 2 Broke Girls moves to Thursdays next season after the Thursday Night Football games end or in the event that Two and a Half Men retires after next season?

I think ABC deserves a Thursday Night NFL schedule rather than CBS!

I think CBS is deciding between moving NCIS: Los Angeles or Person of Interest to Mondays at 10:00, they've been alternating repeats of those shows in the slot and will probably put NCIS: New Orleans on Tuesdays. It should be LA that moves, it's been protected behind the mothership long enough and POI shouldn't move two years in a row. Although moving to Mondays would be preferable to the Sunday death slot.

Craig Ferguson has announced on 28 April that he will step down as the host of The Late Late Show in December of 2014. It is said that the move isn't completely unexpected because Ferguson was passed over as host of Letterman's The Late Show and also picking up a new job as host of a new syndicated game show.

Is The Crazy Ones going to get cancelled? If so, the actress, who plays Lauren, may have to return to her previous show by the second half of next season as a guest, no offense, IMO.

I'm hoping I don't end up with any of my CBS shows on Sunday next year, hate the overruns. The Mentalist is likely cancelled and NCIS of course isn't moving. I would not be happy if Blue Bloods moved to Sunday but don't think that will happen. If Person of Interest moves to Sundays I might drop it. POI has gone downhill with the Vigilance/Samaritan storylines, was much better when it was a person of the week show. Plus I would have much rather Shaw be killed off than Carter. And new shows aren't likely for CBS on Sundays so that's good.

The Mentalist is renewed for Season 7. This is unexpected, since it was initially thought that the series could end up cancelled due to its dismal ratings. The seventh season could be a 13-installment final season. Turns out that Simon Baker had one more year left on his current contract, and the post-Red John reboot was largely well-received.
