I'm not exactly understanding why some of you people don't like Hilary Duff, or maybe you just like making fun of her? I don't know.

But, anyways if there is a comparison based on talent, then it's about a tie. Both have good acting skills, not really good, but decent. But, there is no doubt that they both have talent, and deserve to have a television show, and appear in movies, and what not.

But, when it comes to singing. That is a whole other story.Neither are that great. I'm not saying I can sing...because I can't. I wouldn't even try to test my ability against that chinese guy from American Idol. But, back to what I was saying neither should remain in music, because neither are that great at it. But, both are pretty good actors, and that is where they should stay.

I don't appreciate her status, she gets alot of credit but hardly gives anything in return for her recognition. She's placed above all the other teen stars based on popularity...which to me is wrong. She's a really pretty girl, but I feel sorry for celebs like her, who rise fast to fame.

I don't understand how Raven and Hilary can be compared, even though at this moment they both work for the same company. That's the only place they meet...to me.

I totally disagree with everything you just said. Not to sound mean or anything, but I really can NOT stand Hilary at ALL.She is very pretty, and she is a decent actress, but she isnt as HALF as talented as raven.Ravens been on the scene for almost all of her life, and shes been a very great actress ever since shes debut on the cosby show. She not only acts funny, and gets people laughing(unlike hilary)but she can also do a very very good job as to acting mad or sad.Her singing I will agree, aint no Beyonce, but it is Much better than hilary, and IMO is over great enuff to have a cd out.One reason hilary may sell more cds than raven is because I think more people appreciate hilarys fakeness more than ravens greatness.

All this is just my opinion though.

I believe both are good actors. And I do agree that Hilary gets more credit while Raven has done a lot more. But, I personally think when it comes to acting skills neither are better than the other. I don't see how you can say Raven is more talented.....so she has been on the Cosby's, Hanging with Mr. Cooper, among others but that doesn't mean she is better.I don't see way how Raven is better when it comes to acting.

But, like I said Hilary does get more credit, when Raven deserves just as much if not more.

Maybe. But Im just stating what I think. Now, I think most of us will agree, the more you do something the better youve become, right. And the longer youve been doin, lets just say a sport(karate),the sport or whatever, the higher rank you should get.

Now in karate, all I know is, is that the black belt is the best you can do, and if Im not mistaken yellow or white is ranked beginner.

Well Ravens been acting/singing for awhile now, and her ability shows during her show.Hilary, who basically JUST hit the scene in at least 4 yrs shows the sign of a beginner(whitebelt). Now I really cant say she has grown as an actress for 1) I dont watch her show or keep up with her info. and 2)From recent things Ive seen her in, I just cant tell. Raven would obviosly be the black belt in this while, Hilary is the white belt. White belt means beginner, and that means you arent even CLOSE to becoming a black belt.So ravens been in the bussiness longer and has the better rank, while hilary just got started and may take sometime to be ranked with raven.

I do agree with you fez on that in some cases, it doesnt matter whos been in the longest. For some, acting comes on naturely and while others may struggle.

Another big reason why I think ravens the better actress is because, She can act in multiple roles. She can be funny on TSR and then come on the cheetah girls and be somewhat snobby. Then she can go onto the first zenon movie(although this was before she got on TSR) and be actin like one of those white girls.
Then also on the cheetah girls, she can put up a very decent act on being sad and actually start to cry(which is very hard)Which reminds me of that one LM show when lizzie started to cry about something, which IMO she did a very bad job.Hilary, from what I seen can really onle act ONE part, and thats the part she be doin on LM, and she just carries that over to every other acting thang she do.

All this is my personal opinion, and I apoligize in advance if I have offended any of you I also apoligize for it being so long sorry
