I wonder what physical evidence from the crime scene he is talking about that is good enough to test for DNA. Even if it provided some answers, couldn't it just as easily point to other people who used the phone booth that day?

I know the abductor went into the other phone booth and grabbed the phone right? Maybe the abductor dropped something in the struggle and they never released that info? |

Wouldn't some person calling in to the Clinton, MO police department out of the blue saying, "Hey, do you guys have any updates on the Angela Hammond case. What? No, no, I'm not family. No, I didn't know her in life either. I'm just...um...curious?" seem pretty suspicious to the police, regardless if you had the best intentions and really just wanted to know. Would they even release any info to someone who called them anyway?

What are you going to do? Yell, scream, run to every car and house you can find nearby, that's what you're going to do...People mention this timeline a lot, I might be missing something but what timeline? The only timeline I see is once again, his story...

One question. Did Angela have a working home phone? Maybe that's why she stopped at a payphone. Or maybe she lived with a phone hog like my brother used to be. No matter the reason for her stopping to use the phone she is still a victim. I wish more of the focus could be on the creep who snatched her. Too bad a lot is not known. I have always wondered if the creeper may be younger than thought. By that I mean, when I was 18, people over 26 were old. Ha! Views change as you get older, have children, etc... |

I've considered the guy's age...If he was a young guy he may still be alive, well and free. I put his age somewhere between 18 and 37 at the time (1991), which would make him somewhere between his 30s and 50s now...Either way, young enough to still be alive if he was never put away for something else. |

Thank you for posting that!! I think that the guy is out there somewhere and do not think that was his first time at the rodeo if you know what I mean. Seems like a random town to abduct her huh? Or maybe not so random at all. Maybe he worked there before or had a relative living there, or even grew up there.....

Do a google maps search on the area where the perp turned off...Total backroads. Desolate looking. It continues off to an area abounded with parks and lakes, or leads to a highway leading to the next county. It's a very specific pathway and he seems he knew his way around, given the path he took. Angela was abducted at the corner of 210 South 2nd Street, Clinton Missouri. If you look at the ground image, she was abducted from the corner, just across the street from the Church, where the light pole is. That's where the phone booth was in 1991. A picture I saw of the phone booth from the inside showed that you could see the Church from the view of the phone booth. According to an article I read, Rob lost the perp when he made a turn on Calvird road...But I'm not sure if it's East or West Calvird (if you look at google maps, you'll see you can either go left or right). Even if he wasn't a native, I'd say he knew the area at least slightly well. The relative or employment hypothesis is a good one. |

They didn't say if the abductor had a weapon right? Because the way that Angela was hollering in the car, if he had a gun or a knife lunging at her, she would be more likely to be silent, agree? My point is, how far do you think that the creep could drive and keep Angela from getting out of the truck? |
