And for the last time, why do you think you're opinions are FACTS???

LOL-Pav i'm not complaining this is just my way of finding out who else on the board thinks TV LAND's programming need some improvement.

I do wish TV Land would pick up Alice and One Day At A Time.

ONLY 2 YEARS??? Most shows are on a certain network for 4 or 5 years at least, as long as they get good ratings.

Happy Days now only airs at 8:00am and I think for an hour on Saturdays in the afternoon.

It aired quite a lot when it came back in May 2002. It first aired in January 2002, then left February 24th, came back May 6th. It's been aired since. Now that it's soon to be starting over, it's going to take quite a while to get through a rotation. Because shows that have double takes it goes faster and seems like the show has been on longer. I love Sanford and Son, but when it aired back-to-back all last year, it seemed like it had been on MUCH longer.

Once I tape a show, I personally don't really watch it anymore on TV unless I get a spare minute, so I would also like some more shows added. What's Happening!! Good Times and One Day at A Time would be a nice start. I think Laverne & Shirley needs to be brought back too.

Solomon, didn't you like Happy Days?

And Pav, while you're at it, please tell him that Good Times IS a spinoff. You know more about TV than alot of us here.

I thought that issue was resolved?

If not, get TV Guy on him. He is one of SO's biggest experts when it comes to TV.

No, he still insists it wasn't a spinoff and he said he won't be satisfied until Norman Lear himself says otherwise.

That's Right. Unless it comes out of Lear's mouth, I won't see GT as a spinoff.

Like I said, foolish. Don't you think after all these years of people calling GT a spinoff that one of them would've come out and corrected them?!?

Well Lear said to Esther Rolle-"How would you like to star in your own show"? Not "we are going to spin your character off". That's in the Tv Guide from 1974.
