the one about the young boys who were locked inside a shed and burned alive. I remember thinking that playing by yourself out on daylight was dangerous as being out at night.

I'm sure I'll miss a few and I can't remember the names of a few of the cases or the people involved:
(1) The Blind River killings. Everything about that segment was so creepy, chilling and frightening. Also, so heartbreaking for Gord McAllister. My heart really broke for him. I hope against hope justice can be done one day (2) Can't remember the name of that case but that teenaged girl who woke up all tied up and phoned her mother claiming she had no memory of anything, then a few days later started having flashbacks of the alleged home invasion in which she'd been injured. Now, I don't believe much of what she said took place in that story actually happened, at least in the way she said it did (there are too many holes, gaps, inconsistencies) but the UM reenactment of the whole home invasion was just so frightening to me. It was perhaps compounded by the fact that a home invasion used to be my worst nightmare when I was home alone, so perhaps the reenactment spoke to my fears a little too effectively. (3) The whole La Cruces bowling alley massacre was very horrific and frightening in its own right. Beginning in that scene where that woman was working in the kitchen and suddenly this armed gunman confronts her and starts speaking in Spanish and going right through to the horrific end, that was really chilling. Another one where I hope justice is done one day. (4) The Dana Satterfield murder. The whole thing is chilling, but the scene where that saleswoman who saw Dana Satterfield earlier in the day is waiting outside her salon late at night and the killer suddenly jumps out from the salon and just looks at her just sends chills up my spine. |
