AMEN! Glad I'm not the only here who feels that way.

FoL is probably the first series where Shout picked up the license for the series from another company, released a couple seasons, then released a complete series before (hopefully) releasing the rest of the series in single sets.
They got the rights to Mr. Belvedere and picked up where the previous studio had left off, releasing season 4 individually. There has still not been an official release of seasons 5 and 6, though most of those episodes are available at YouTube.

There are quite a few shows that Shout! has rescued only to quickly drop again...

There were no releases of Mr. Belvedere by any company prior to Shout releasing the first four seasons.

Ah, true. "Sesasons 1 & 2" and "Season 3" were released to stores from Shout, but they did "Season 4" as a website-only available set (and the packaging is a little different); that's what I was thinking of.

^Either way, Shout! has a history of releasing a show and then they just leave it hanging with one or two seasons left.

A few examples:
Mister Ed
Mr. Belvedere
My Two Dads
Small Wonder
Mad About You
Webster
Rhoda

Don't get me wrong, I'm VERY thankful for Shout! giving us what they have but I would greatly appreciate it if they'd finish what they start.

Maybe they should start a company called "(Echo!)" for that

I'm just happy they're releasing "Facts" and "Jeffersons" as complete series sets so we don't have to wait on individual seasons to be released and then some of the seasons not even be released at all.

Thumbs up DVD Extra's

I wonder if the 35th anniversary cast panel discussion (set to take place in LA this september) will be part of the DVD extras content... i hope so.

How were the first and second seasons of The Facts of Life released in one DVD set and not two? Is it because both of the seasons were abbreviated (first season had 13 episodes and second season had 18 episodes)?
