I've read that a lot over the years myself. Andy was and is a nice guy and liked by all. I think Frances was just an uptight grouch. That was always my impression from what I've read. She didn't warm up to anyone in the cast.

I do remember Andy talking about that and I guess they talked about the time of her death and she apologized to him for being so difficult. What ever problems they had they did makeup.
