There were a few Daphne-less episodes of "Fraiser" and a few Cage-less "Ally Mcbeal" episodes.

There were a couple of "Get Smart" episodes without 99 & several without the Cief and one (When Good Fellows Get Together) that had neither. Also in season 5 there was one episode ("Ice Station Sigfried") without Max (actually Max appeared very briefly & at the beginning, but didn't say anything).
On NewsRadio, there also were several episodes near the end of season 3 & season 4 without Beth, when Vicki Lewis was filming "Mouse Hunt" & "Godzilla." The season 3 episode, "Twins" is the only one without Lisa & Joe is not in season 4's "Monster Rancher." |

The absence of Suzanne Somers (Chrissy Snow) during the later seasons of Three's Company put a hole in the show in which it wasn't near as good as the earlier seasons WITH her.
The Shirley-less episodes of Laverne & Shirley were not as funny as the ones that had Shirley in them. It was never the same after Cindy Williams (Shirley Feeney) left the show. Happy Days lost some of its spark when Ron Howard (Richie Cunningham) and Don Moist (Ralph Malph) left the series after 1980. The episodes without them weren't as good as the ones with them. |

shows that sucked w/o certain characters: Bewitched without Dick York (this means non-Darrin episodes and Dick Sargent episodes) Happy Days without Ron Howard, Don Most. Then it was even worse when Scott Baio and Erin Moran weren't on The Bob Newhart Show without Bob Newhart The Mary Tyler Moore Show wasn't quite as good without Valerie Harper, but it was still a great show so that doesn't really count. |

"Facts Of Life" had several episodes in which one or more of the girls weren't present, most notably i've noticed SEVERAL Natalie-Less episodes. Also even before Charoltte Rea left there were several Mrs. Garrett-Less episodes.
On "Saved By The Bell" Jessie is mysteriously abesnt from many of the series episodes, like The Murder Mystery Weekend Episode, The One In The Mall when they are trying to get tickets to the U2 concert and a few others.. Also there are the infamous episodes when Jessie and Kelly are replaced by the annoying and honestly boring Tori character (Leena Creel), the one that rides a motorcycle. The Golden Girls episoded called "Empty Nest" wasn't exactly without the girls, however it focused on their neighbors and was just dreadfully boring. |

OH! The Golden Girls episode entitled "Empty Nests" is, among the fans, the suckiest episode EVER!!!!!!!! The girls we barely in it. And their friend was boring. I think the producers saw it to0 and when Empty Nest finally came on the air it was a completely different show!
I'm sorry, that episode just bugs me. -Matt |

Charlotte Rae missed several toward the end of her last season on the show, and Lisa Whelchel skipped the episode where Natalie lost her virginity. Nancy McKeon missed the first season, and a couple episodes when her contract was in dispute. That's it, though, to my knowledge. |

When Jeff Conaway left Taxi, the show seemed to lack something.
