What was the name of the ep? & what season? The Lars Affair was probably my second favorite, cause Sue Ann and Mary are fierce in it. Also, if I remember correctly, thiat's first time Sue Ann appears on MTM.

It was episide #49, Season 3 opener, The Good-Time News. That was a funny episode and that season the show was beginning to take off. Mary was beginning to learn to stand up for herself in that episode. I loved it when she did not back down from Lou. It was funny to see him run from the confrontation of this episode on giving Mary the same pay that her predecessor had who was a male.

The Lars Affair was a great one and the best comedy that was shown with MTM, Valerie Harper and Cloris Leachman. Anytime those three women got together we was going to see some good comedy between them. Too bad more storylines could had been centered around them.

Yes, I love the "Eric shrimp" line, too. The look on Mary's face is priceless. It's like, "Oh, God, did I just say that?!" "Put on a Happy Face" has always been one of my favorties, too. The hair bump thing is classic.

There are just so many classic moments in this show, you could prob. go on all day, hehe.

Playing Eric was veteran character Hamilton Camp. He also played memorable guest roles on Bewitched (along with Steve Franken, he played one of the dog-aliens) and WKRP (he played Del Murdoch the stereo guy in the ill-fated studio shop remote). I read where he was only 5'2, was also a singer/songwriter, was married for 40 years and had 6 children. He passed away in 2005. God bless him.

I never knew where in the series it fell, and I'm delighted its Season 3 as I have that DVD set. (Been very busy w work so haven't had a chance to watch S#3 closely otherwise I should have spotted it.)

It's nice posters like you who make SO such a great place....you don't know something there's always a more knowledgeable fan who does and graciouslly shares it with you. Thanks again!!
