John-boy (original one/ Richard Thomas, the show wasn't the same after he left)

Jim-Bob (always liked him throughout the show)

Elizabeth (esp. liked her in the early seasons , she was adorable)

Mary Ellen (liked her better in the early seasons too, she was sassy later her character got too goody-goody and boring)

John-Boy, definitely. It was sad when Richard Thomas left, but catastrophic when they replaced him in season 9.

That seemed like a bad move from the start.
