The diner's fictional address on 533 West End Ave. is a co-op building. The actual restaurant used for filming is The Mansion located on 1634 York Ave. |

Olympia Café from SNL
SNL writer Don Novello (Father Guido Sarducci) said the restaurant was inspired by Chicago's Billy Goat Tavern, which is now a local chain. The name Olympia came from the café ran by John and Jim Belushi's father during the 1960s. |

Luke's Diner from "Gilmore Girls"
The fictional diner is known for their coffee and there is official "Gilmore Girls" coffee available from the WB Shop. To promote the 2016 Netflix revival, select coffee shops were given a Luke's Diner makeover for one day. |

![]() ![]() The place didn't have a name, but a building was built in Historic Richmond Town, Staten Island made to a look like a 1920s style diner in 2012 for HBO's "Boardwalk Empire". After the show wrapped, Eggers Ice Cream Parlor used it for seven years and it closed on Sept. 30, 2024 after the lease was not renewed. As of now, it is being decided if the building is to be torn down or refurbished for another use. |
