Nah, by Season Ten, the writers had grown lazy, and the focus of the show had shifted to Victoria, the girls' new exchange student from Eastland's sister school in South Africa; Elizabeth, a friend Natalie had made in SoHo; and Al, Beverly Ann's artificial intelligence replacement from the 23rd Century.

Ratings quickly plummeted, and the abbreviated Tenth Season would be the show's last. The episodes were so reviled by FOL fandom that they rarely shown in syndication... until now!

Yeah, after the ten-part "rippling" storyline, I think everyone was ready to call it quits, even Warren Littlefield, who had originally insisted on the changes. There are only so many storylines that can be generated from a love triangle between two characters and a cyborg from the 23rd Century. Littlefield admitted, "There were just too many cyborgs."
