I saw some of the kitten bowl before the Super Bowl was on! The black & white tuxedo kittens won right? I was lucky with the Super bowl, I wanted the Broncos, but I was rooting for the orange tabbies in the kitten bowl and they didn't win!

Yeah I missed pretty much all the commercials this year ! We had some neighbors in to watch with us, and I was up being a good hostess, getting drinks and refilling potato chip bowls up and stuff and going to the bath room (I was drinking beer ,making me have to pee more) during the commercials!! Luckily I was able to catch the sheep singing Queen commercial! That was adorable! But they all were saying I wasn't missing much ,the commercials weren't that great this year!

People recorded the game, commercials and all, on their VCR's.

She's got thighs alright, she just isn't my type.

For me, one example of an attractive black woman is Karla Mosley, actress on Bold And The Beautiful. She sure looks fine to me!

Years ago, someone must have come up with the gimmick for people to watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. I imagine it was done to entice and attract the audience that has no interest in football or the Super Bowl, and get them to watch anyway, just to drive the ratings up. As far as I know, the Super Bowl is the only televised event during the year where the commercials draw as much attention, if not more attention, than the event itself.
I've never understood what's so special about them too. Cause it's not like they'll never be shown again.

True...there's YouTube as well.

But Cleveland did have somewhat of a break with a Taco Bell Commercial...

I think that is because this was the 50th Super Bowl, so the focus was placed on that rather than the commercials. Next year, more focus will likely be placed again (unfortunately) on the commercials.
