Thanks Mike, but I didn't go to school there (well actually I did go there one summer for driver's ed.) We have several highschools here and I went to a different one. It's not nearly as pretty as Topeka High though so I didn't post a pic of it. I was going to when I read your reply and I couldn't even find one online. That's how unimpressive it is to look at.

I found this partial pic on the Topeka Public Schools website. Here it is...Highland Park High School, home of the Fighting Scots (yeah...seriously )

Was the school located in a town called Highland Park? We have a Highland Park in Illinois. Schaumburg High School was the home of the Schaumburg Saxons!

Lucky guess. I didn't want you to lose sleep over it though.

Here's one that is the corner of my street.

I have some older ones, like what my street looked like 100 years ago.

Okay, so here are some pictures of my neighborhood!

The first is a nearby shopping center.

The second picture is of the theater in this shopping center.

The third picture is from a canyon that I often drive to get to the beach. It's got great views, especially at night. There's a place on the canyon where cars can park and it's a great place to take pictures.

The fourth picture is of a outdoor mall that's near the beach. It's about two or three blocks away from the beach, so it's within perfect walking distance.

And the last picture is of the pier and boardwalk. It's the perfect place to be during the summer!!

This is a picture of Venice Beach, also known as Muscle Beach. It's about 20-30 minutes away from me, but I go there a lot. There's tons of shops along the boardwalk that have everything. It's a great place to be during the summer.

It's such a great place isn't it? I always go there when I'm feeling down or am stressed. Just sitting by the waters is a great way to relax. I wish I could afford to rent an apartment in the area!
