Thanks for clarifying. I remember reading about it in the paper in the not-so-distant past.

I still that show.

The Simpsons. During my senior year of high school the show started, and I fell into the trap of buying the hype. I eventually loved the show for the next five years. In 1994 I started to question my decision to devote a half hour a week to this show. It took me 7½ years to escape that trap. I have not watched an episode since 1997.

I'm currently watching Mr. Belvedere on DVD and I am happy to say that it has held up very well. I still enjoy it. An added bonus was that some of the writers/producers/directors of Barney Miller also worked on Mr. Belvedere, and they brought their special brand of dry, sarcastic (but never mean-spirited!), and TIMELESS humor to the show.

Charles in Charge

Pokemon - Loved it during my middle school years, just plain insipid and dumb now and the new characters and the exit of Misty in recent years doesn't help matters.

Barney and Friends - Watched it as a kid, regretted it now! Everytime I hear any of the songs that play on that show, I just wanna shoot myself.

Full House definitely falls into this category for me.

Honorable mentions go to Barney & Friends, Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, Allegra's Window, & Saved By The Bell.
