Thumbs up

ThomasE, I should of rephrased that about Parker Lewis, I think people now overlook the show. I guess i'm just dissapointed it's not airing on any cable stations or any local channels. But yeah, three seasons is'nt that bad.

"Okay Now" - I have two shows. #1 I think "Here come the brides" with Bobby Sherman & David Soul should have run longer. It was a great show. - #2 Also Flamingo road with Morgan Fairchild should have run longer. That was another great show.

Stark Raving Mad was a very funny show. Freaks and Geeks was also excellent, I really looked forward to watching that show, but they kept moving it around and had it on Saturday nights, when the audience it was geared for would not be home to watch. Even though it took place in the early 80's, anyone who's gone through high school could relate to someone or something on the show.

I loved the episode where they had a party and the little brother's friend called the cops so he wouldn't have to.

Cool

WRKP IN CINCINNATI SHOULD'VE RUN 11 SEASONS LIKE M*A*S*H AND CHEERS!
I THINK HELLO LARRY DESERVED TO RUN 5 SEASONS OR 100 EPISODES AND THE SAME FOR BUFFALO BILL.I AGREE SQUARE PEGS WAS TOO GOOD FOR TV.

Kacibc, I thought "Stark Raving Mad" was very funny too! I loved that show! NBC took that one off way too early.
Would you happen to have any of the episodes on tape? I'm dying to have them all. If you do, could you copy them for me and we can make a deal?

I was a big Square Pegs Fan. I also don't know if anyone remembers the show with Jason Bateman called "It's Your Move." Granted, I was like 14 at the time, but I seem to remember that it was a pretty good show. Anyone care to comment?

I have to say Square Pegs. It was funny, and cool, and nobody gave it a chance. I mean it would have been nice if it had gone at least one more year so it could be syndicated, but oh well, ce la vie.

Networks today never give any show "enough time". Its really all about ratings and the almighty dollar, If a show isnt doing good in the ratings, it gets cancelled (Tucker, Daddio, Bette, The Michael Richards Show), shelved (The Weber Show) or put on hiatus (Welcome to New York). There have been many shows that were hilarious but if the networks arent getting any money from the show, its gone, sometimes it comes back but other times, sadly, it does not.

As for the network on which it aired, I do not know. However, the Odyssey network was airing reruns of it 2-3 years ago.

it is currently airing on PAX TV sundays at 5pm

I think that Hello Larry, The Golden Palace, and The Ropers are 3 examples of shows that should have lasted longer. I also think that shows that are being cancelled today like Bette, Geena Davis Show, Dot Comedy, should have not been cancelled. WKRP should have ran longer too, as it only ran for 4 years.

The Gina Davis show was aweful. Just kept showing her bod at odd angles.

Best short run show ever in my opinion:
When Things Were Rotten
Mel Brooks in medievil times. It was hilarious.

I can't beleive I read 3 pages of replies to this topic and no one has mentioned the greatest show in the history of tv, but not given a chance.... "Action" starring Jay Mohr and a brilliant supporting cast.
