I may be in the minority, but I thought the reunion was sub par. It was way too short and they didn't talk about some of the great episodes like The Runaways, Barbara's Friend and The Older Man. I was left wanting more not because the reunion was so good, but because the reunion was poor.

I would think there would be enough buyers to support DVD sales. I mean not in the millions, but I can see people buying the show. The sooner they would get released the more people are likely to grab them. I do think this show would sell better than other Columbia/Sony DVD shows that are out there. Who knows? They could be released next Tuesday!

Yeah, that'd make sense. Hopefully we'll hear something soon, very soon.

i think that it all depends on the package; if they do it as a complete season set, keep it around $25, and put some meagre extras on there (like audio commentaries or clips from the reunion show) it WILL sell.

Brian wasn't the clip when Ann told Julie-"then don;t come back" from the Runaways?

They could put outtakes / commercials on the discs. As we know from tonight the outtakes do exist. Wasn't there an earlier pilot version of the show that was filmed WITHOUT Valerie? I wonder if that exists still?

Yes, I was mistaken. They did delve into that episode, but I was still disappointed with the show overall.

It wasn't the greatest special it could have been but it was fun seeing alot of the old scenes again. I was thinking like some of you that Sony will be interested in seeing the ratings for this to determine what they'll do about a dvd release. If ratings are a factor, I just hope it does well because it made me eager for a dvd release.

Nanette Fabray looked better than I expected her to look, but what was up with Shelley Fabares' pink spiky hair? Scarpelli looks pretty much like you would expect him to look today. The special definitely made me wish someone were airing it at least, but I prefer those dvds, if they ever come.

TV Guide has a short review of the special and they said it was "uninspired." I really think in a way the show has been on the shelf for way too long for most people to get into now.

I agree with that critique. But I disagree what you said about people not getting into it. If the show was done more properly, it could've really inspired alot more younger viewers to buy the dvd's.

Default Reunion show!

I enjoyed the reunion show. I hope they rerun it because I forgot to tape the show.

Athough I missed the beginning of the show from what I saw they should've had at least 2 hours. I hope it re-airs again though.

I felt they shouldn't harp on Mackenzie's drug problem so much. She did do drugs but they should leave her alone. They should've maybe mentioned it a little and then went on to talk more about the show. Poor Mackenzie looked uneasy.

I saw some of it (was watching According to Jim), but I did tape it. From what I saw, it didn't have the excitement as the Happy Days Reunion did. The ratings were not too good either. At least nothing compared to Happy Days. Here are the ratings:

Viewers: 9.94 million (2nd in timeslot from 9-9:20pm, According to Jim took 2nd from 9:20-10pm, leaving the reunion in 3rd place)
A18-49: 2.9/7 (4th in timeslot)
