It's been running since either 86' or 87' and they continue to make eppisodes for it to this very day.

Even the Guinness book of World Records would agree. The Simpson's is one loooooong running sitcom, period.

I've got a pic of the whole FOL cast from I think People magazine in 2001 with cast pics of 4 other sitcoms from the 80's and 90's.
Nancy's eyes don't look hazel in that pic, either. They look rather like an aqua shade of green.

You may have to download that pic and grow it to see it a little bit better, depending on the tint of your screen. But this is what a hazel colored eye looks like.

Nancy McKeon's or Jo's eyes don't even look like any one of those 3 eye pics above. Now do they?

Now I could post a pic of my eye color and shape, but it'll probably freak you viewers out, so I won't do that.

And BlairandJo, If Jo's eyes according to FOL websites are green and Nancy's eye color is hazel, wouldn't that mean that Nancy must of worn green colored contacts for the part of Jo? Get real. Colored contacts didn't come out til 1987 for T.V. and the public. Now special Effects contacts, which were also colored, have been around since the 60's, but they were limited to red, orange, yellow cats eyes, snake and lizard eyes, white spiral eyes, white-out no pupil eyes, and whole eye covering blister special effects lenses that were red, pink, and reddish-purple that looked gross. Katherine Hepburn wore a pair in the 60's for the role of a blind woman in which she won an Acadamy Award for. Now I don't thing that Nancy wore a pair of Green colored contacts for the role of Jo. Even the role of Jo at first was origionally written for a brown eyed girl of Italian decent. When Nancy McKeon came in, they rewritten the character to be a green eyed brunnett haired girl of Polish-Italian descent. Why do you think that is, BlairandJo. If Nancy's eyes were really hazel colored, "in which if you read the dictionary definitions, it tells you that hazel is light brown to medium brown to yellowish brown to any brown with flecks or small amounts of green and gold, notice, small amounts at the most. Hardly even noticeable in the lighter colors. So it'll still appear light brown at it's most colorful. That's what hazel color is." than Jo's eyes would be hazel as well. Be real. I know you made the quiz yourself, BlairandJo. Jo's eye color is green. FOL websites even say that it's green. Nancy McKeon has green eyes.Nancy McKeon's eyes may turn blue or violet at times. But that's about it.

Alxnet Quizzes is a hoax. I repeat it's a hoax. Don't trust Alxnet quiz services for the true answers. I just surfed their site and found shocking answers to some of their questions. Can you beleive that they claim that Courtney Cox Arquettes eyes are brown and Jennifer Garners eyes are blue, and that rocker David Bowie has a glass eye? Can you beleive that they lie about Texas largest city by claiming it to be Dallas and not Houston? They even say that Alicia Silverstone is 5'-10" tall. Can you beleive that?

Alxnet also claims that the answer to Britney Murphy's eye color is green. We all know her's is brown. She's the one who was in the movie with Asheton Kutcher called Just Married.

Now finally, if you're in regards to Jo's true eye color, just click on either of these two links below.

Even rocker Flyman said that Jo's eyes were green.

FOL is not the longest running sitcom on NBC; that would be Cheers (one more season). I'm not sure what is the longest running sitcom in history, but FOL isn't it. Anyone know what it is?

One of the Longest sitcoms was The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. It had 435 episodes 409 black and white 35 color and ran from 1952-1966.

Before that it was on the radio. From 1941-1951 it was on the air in 1944 it became know as the adventures of Ozzie and harriet, then in 1952 CBS finally after agreeing in 1949 to put it on tv finally put it on tv. From 1941-1944 they mostly just provided music for the Red Skelton show.

The Simpsons have run almost 16 years with 360 episodes.

So the tv sitcom with the most episodes is The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet with 435 episodes.

The tv sitcom on the air the most years is Simpsons with 15 and they have been given the go for another season for 2005 making it the 16th season.

Nancy McKeon's eyes are pale green with white and lemon-yellow flecks.

The longest running sitcom as far as having real live actors and actresses is a tie between Cheer's and Friends.

Actually her left green eye has only white flecks in it. Her left green eye has some white flecks, but the rest of the flecks are yellow. It makes Nancy's left green eye appear lighter than her right green eye.
