'Into That Good Night" - opinions

I think the ending to the show was very creative. I didn't see that coming at all. I have only watched it twice, it is too sad for me. I think what bothers a lot of people is we identify a lot w/ some of the characters and then in the end we find out they aren't who we thought they were.
I just wish Dan hadn't of died. There can't be a hope for a reunion. Maybe that was the point of having him die. I had a hard time letting this show go. It is one of my very favorites. Thank goodness for reruns.
